Hi guys, I got PPR yesterday.

My application was onehow so I’m sharing all the details should someone find himself or herself in this situation.

My husband got his PPR and COPR before we got married. His application was processed in Ottawa while mine was in London.

The name on his Nigerian passport but our worry is that he might have issues because since he has a foreign passport hed most likely not been given visa for landing so hed have to use the foreign passport which has diff names.

Just put it like this on the LOE. Affidavit is needed too-as u have done. And capture all the names on the eAPR and elsewhere. How did you fill out his part on the EE profile?

His parents ooo... His mum gave birth to him abroad and gave the hospital names to put on the birth certificate and then brought him back to Nigeria and did naming and the father gave him a different 1st and middle name. So he maintained the Nigerian name until he was about 15 and found out he had a different 1st and middle name on his foreign passport but all his certificate, docs have his Nigerian name. What do we do pls?

Yours is like a needle in a haystack... 1 in 5000 ppl. IDP is not favorable when it comes to remark and also I can clearly confirm that when you ask for a remark (EOR) and your score changes it does not reflect online. I kept checking online to know if my score would change meaning I got a positive outcome but was same and then I sent a mail to Australia.

I am a living testimony and I have email correspondence from Australia confirming they dont change the score online after viewing your results as this is taken off online after a while. You only get an email saying your EOR is ready and even when you try to ask the outcome they insist you come get your TRF. To confirm this, my score increased but online I still saw the old result meanwhile my TRF had the new result(score). And then again I was on a forum where about 27 of us applied for EOR from IDP Nigeria and only mine came out positive.

You seem to me like you work for them or have personal interests in the organization and so you are trying to cover things up for IDP.

U can apply for a remark immediately your results are out but youl have to give them your trf to apply for EOR

I think u can still apply for a remark with IDP but not immediately. Mark when it gonna elapse and be hoping on the one from BC. Redoing should be out of it, kai kai.

check the amount you put for funds available for your travel. also check your work experience too.

That's the problem we have with most Nigerians. They know we won't go further to enquire to clarify our doubts, hence the high chance of the fraud continuing. In situations like this, we just accept it and "leave everything to God" instead of challenging the authenticity of the EOR.

I don't see anything that stops you from getting the steps from Dotcman to contact Australia just to eliminate your doubts.

My EOR for writing too remained unchanged

I know about 15 people that used IDP Lagos and failed writing... It cannot be coincidence that all 15 didnt write well... All went for EOR and result remained unchanged. For some, only speaking changed but not writing. I really dont know if it is a plan to het people to come anf write again.

We just discussed the "one and the same person affidavit" two pages back. It might come in handy for you, please use it.

In my opinion, I'd suggest he uses his Nigerian passport for this purpose since the name on it ties with those on all other documents he would be needing for his application (I'm assuming he used it to register for IELTS). A British passport doesn't give him any particular edge as both passports would have to be stamped with the PR visa anyway (unlike the American passport). Like I said, it's my suggestion.
