Emmasonic4me:Got me ROFL with the “Do you want to teach me my job?” part. I had similar experience but from the police. Hopefully, you will get the second shot in 6 weeks time. |
Legacyedition:Awwww....am not angry/sad at all. Funny enough, I just got this email response from the Lagos office this afternoon: “Good day, In response to your email enquiry below, kindly note that this application is still under active review by our office. At the moment, we are not in a position to give a clear indication of when we anticipate finalizing this application. However, we wish to inform you that our office is doing the necessary to ensure that this application is processed and finalised within the shortest timeframe possible. We respectfully request that you refrain from writing further emails until we contact you. We will not be responding to future emails received within this timeframe. We appreciate your cooperation, patience, and understanding.” They are referring to the email enquiry I sent on June 7th, which Nairobi office has already responded to with the same GENERIC answer. Nairobi or Lagos, which is it ![]() Though my eligibility has not yet started, I may order for my GCMS notes as you suggested. Really appreciate the heads up. |
Ketima:I think most study visa applications from Nigeria are handled by the Nairobi office. I would suggest you send an email enquiry to all the visa offices (Accra, Abuja, Lagos, Nairobi, Beijing, London, etc). The relevant office will hopefully reply back. That was what I did. I got acknowledgment mail from Lagos and London. Accra forwarded my email to Nairobi from where I got the “my application under active review in their office” response. Hope this helps. |
IntimidationJay:I got the NSE request but ignored it cos my financial sponsors are UK based. BTW, am a Sista ![]() |
Oreoluwamipo:AMEN! |
EmeeNaka:Nope. Though I have tried to login this morning, but couldn’t. I think I saw a notification yesterday on their website that the site will be under going some maintenance work between 1am to 6am ETD ( 6am to 11am Nigerian time). I have also sent an email to Nairobi, was told that my application is under “active review”. God, I dey your hand ooo.

EmeeNaka:March 1st Applicant, still waiting. IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL! |
ritzzybaron:I reside in Lagos. Ikorodu to be precise. All you have to do is to go to the nearest Primary Health Care Center/LCDA/LGA/General Hospital in your area. Took mine in my LCDA and it is FREE. I was not asked to pay any money. They prefer to attend to second dose takers, but I brought their attention to the announcement made by the Govt and they attended to me. Also, make sure you eat very well before you take the dose. Hope this helps. |
emmalextemtop:It’s official now. 1st dose of AstraZeneca/Oxford. Yesterday, 21/06/2021. 2nd dose is taken 6 weeks from the 1st dose. Hope this helps. |

meemeeibrahim22:Free. |
meemeeibrahim22:Lagos. |
Intrepid01:Free of charge. When I got to the location, there wasn’t much people. Three of the nurses assigned to give the shot were just sitting and waiting for who to attend to. In humble opinion, I think the Govt. knows that people are still sceptical/skeptical about Covid-19/vaccine and are very reluctant to be vaccinated. Hence, it is administered free of charge. |
Lekiboboe:Thanks to you too for all you do here. |

emmalextemtop:It has been announced that full vaccination (1st and 2nd doses) exempts one from the manadatory hotel quarantine. Did mine in Lagos, don’t have info for other states. |
Just took my first dose of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine. I was told to come back in 6 weeks time (2nd August) for the second dose. Also that the side effects differs, but commonly headache, pains and high temperature. I was advised by the Nurse to take paracetamol once I get home or start experiencing any of the above side effects. Hope this helps for those you need the info. |
Queenmama03:Congratulations!!! |
onomss:Note the above info from Oyesquare 10. |
Oyesquare10:Thanks for this info! |

“Dear ............. you have successfully registered and will be scheduled for your first dose of COVID-19 Vaccine at .........,,. Primary Health Centre Your Vaccination ID is NG-LA.........,,,” I got the above sms way back in March 2021 from NPHCDA after registering online. I am yet to get any info about the scheduling. Please, does anyone have any idea what I need to do going forward? Hope it is not too late to complete the process. |
Kemdil:Please, what is the process involved and the location of your vaccine administration? |
iampaulsmith:Okay, thanks. |

Khamon:@Khamon: I sent an urgent email to the Lagos, Abuja, Accra, London, Beijing, Nairobi offices last week (7th June). Nairobi responded today that my application is “under active review in their office” and that I will be “notified once a decision is reached or if additional documents are required”. Hope this helps. |
