You are such an illiterate cretin, its not even funny. Many educated people who actually read and are into research know that you were born a fool and there's no need of sending you world population research articles which will obviously go over your head. Open a book today. Read for god's sake and don't die a miserable retard. Is the WHO statistics also fake for you. Animal. Keeping pulling stupid information from from your a*ss while lying down in your bedbug infested, poverty stricken abode. In this age of modern technology, where information is accessible, you have chosen to remain a slave to ignorance. Sorry for your poor mother. Read old man. Read and don't die a fool.

Lol, the problem with engaging knuckle heads. So at your age you can't search for information on the population of your country. You see why Nigerians are regarded as unintelligent. You have access to a phone and data, why not use it to educate yourself. A simple search will show that there are over 2 million more males than females in Nigeria. Help yourself.

Where did you get this population info from. A simple search will show you that there are more males more than females in Nigeria. Why do you guys try so hard to create the impression men are scarce? Is it to feel special?

Not for me!

At all.

18hours to push endlessly. Not all women have such strength.
Well labour comes in stages, the first stage involves your cervix dilating. This is what takes up most of the time. For the first timer it dilates about 1.2cm per hour. Full dilatation ends at 10cm. So you can imagine, it's not a walk in the park.

But why labour for 7hours?
That's too much hours gone and definitely she will be very weak.

Cesarean straight up, after two hours nd no show.

May God protect all pregnant women and bless them with safe deliveries. With mum and child Hale and alive. Amen
7 hours is very short for labor. It's considered prolonged labour after 18-20 hours for a first-timer

it will be allowed in Nigeria cos of our lack of needed equipments but you can't do that in USA, you make the patient comfortable with some medications that were not intended to cure just make it bearable till test result it out, again some result of test takes ages to come out here but not some for the developed world , the minimum time for thyroid test here is 7 days for the fastest lab you can get at teaching hospital, but 2weeks if it's private hospital, but us, the following day, your lab result is ready. No wonder some of our Drs kill more people than they save. The only hospital I can vouch for is beehess at akowonjo where I had my baby, it was not only affordable with good service, plus they ask all the right questions and right affordable tests. My favorite when it comes to maternity and delivery
You see why I said ignorant Nigerians are the worst of them all. You educate them, yet they still choose ignorance. Any Dr that waits for test result before treating meningitis did not go to med school. You must start treatment first because the more time you waste the worse the complications. FYI I don't practice in Nigeria, so don't give me that bull crap about "in America" because you don't know shit. Tufiakwa. At least use Google before spewing rubbish. Anyway I blame the drs still left in that country

Hehehehe, spoken like a typical nigerian. One thing u shld rememba is if dat drug u recommend for dat meningitis doesnt cure the patient u should be held accountable (in a sane country o). So pls doc, u can go ahead to become ur own lab oo. Odi egwu
. I' m not here to argue with you. I repeat, I don't need a lab test to start treating a child with meningitis. I start my treatment then you confirm. It's called empiri antibiotics. Your job will be to narrow down the organisms involved, then I may have to change my antibiotics if there is even a need. Drs are trained to know the common cause of meningitis in each age group, so most of the time the tests just confirms what they are thinking. Stop misleading the ppl. Telling them we need you before starting treatment. You are needed quite all right so just do your work and leave all this supremacy rubbish

But d poster was merely pointing out the blatant truth! A doctor- a well trained one- shouldnt make most diagnosis without an adequate lab test so as not to misdiagnose, it kills. Doctors should talk to patients, recommend d test to be carried out and rely on such test results to profer the type of medication, while the pharmacist would look at the doctor's card and use the information therein to administer the appropriate drug for such patient and frequency of usage. If this is followed, we'd have a healthy population not walking reservoirs of sickness.

Thank you
Oh really, tell me more on how I shouldn't make a diagnosis of appendicitis till I get a lab result, or meningitis, or fibromyalgia, or Lyme's disease, or whooping cough, tell me how I should wait for you before treating infective endocarditis. There is a reason it's called " confirmatory" tests. Most trained doctors already know what they are dealing with, not all disease require tets before treatment, so stop all these seeking for relevance and do your work

Ulcer, chest pain?!!! Bros fear God naw! Ulcer has to do with the walls of the intestine and before drug prescription one has to do test to ascertain if its chronic or not, or if it has microbial inclination or chemical. Bros, the only thing closest to chest pain an ulcer patient can experience is discomfort in the upper gut region (last resort is except d sick has been administered drugs at home which could have cough/chest pain as side effect). Make una no dey support doctors unnecesarily, tell dem d truth wen its warranted. I am not a doctor, just a scholar, thanks.
The most common cause of chest pain in adults is dyspepsia. Google that. This is why ppl like you irritate me. You don't have the knowledge yet you are trying to force down your wrong opinion on someone more knowledgeable. And yes the most accurate test to do is an endoscopy, after you have ruled out a hear pathology with other cardiac tests. How many Nigerians can afford all these tests just for a simple ulcer.

yours isnt even an argument to start with. i keep saying that you christians make God look very powerless. He is the almighty. he sure knows when to and how to "patent" his inventions. never have i read anywhere in the bible where he says thou shall help me preserve humanity and patent my inventions, dont speak for God, don't fight for him. the simple commands love thy neighbour and judge not so you wont be judged are so hard for you to follow, yet you manufacture reasons for you to treat another human being less. now u dont know what your creators order is actually, he makes it clear that this is not your home and your place is in heaven with him, yet you refuse to kill yourself and go and stay with your ever loving father, you remain here looking for how to discriminate against people in a place thats not even yours. what nigerians dont get is that religion is a personal thing, a personal race, dont force your convictions on every other person

No!

It's about human essence and the Creator's order.

We rush to get patency rights for our inventions. We go to court to fight for our intellectual properties. Same way God has 'patency rights' over humanity.

so let me get this straight, Obama is being demonized for deciding to treat another human being with respect despite their differences, for not judging another human based on how he looks or how he lives but based on his capabilities, for loving his neighbor as himself and not judging just like the bible asks us too, for giving everyone a chance to prove their worth, for not forcing his own religious beliefs down everyone's throat. he is the antichrist for preaching tolerance and acceptance. you christians are your own worst enemies. Black man plus christianity = a cocktail of explosive ignorance. slaves forever. religion used to oppress your kind, lay barren your land, make slaves of your daughters and sons. yet na una carry am for head

Thank you for your write up .For your information 'Mr Know it all'.A proper test should be conducted on anyone at all to ascertain what is actually wrong with the person. You can't be so sure its appendicitis because the patient complained of abdominal pains. For your information again,I stopped taking those antibiotics immediately I was tested to be preggie in the other hospital.I've had three kids after this incidence and I've always had that abdominal pains.its the likes of you that encourages 'quacks' in this country..Every pregnant woman should be diagnosed of appendicitis. It was a private hospital mind you.
Lol see your mouth like tests. If he had asked you to do an MRI that costs between 70 to 80k I'm sure you would have laid curses on his next generation . What makes a good Dr is not the amount of tests he asks you to do, it's his/ her ability to focus and limit the test based on the history and examination he has gotten. Now when all fails he asks for more tests. Diagnosis of appendicitis is mainly clinical but a simple ultrasound can be done to confirm. Even 3rd year medical students know that you must do a pregnancy test once a female complains about abdominal pain, it could even be an ectopic pregnancy. My problem with you now is that you have failed to acknowledge the other doctors that got the diagnosis right rather you've held onto the one that got it wrong as a representation of Nigerian doctors. It is unfair. Finally it's not all hospitals you see that you enter, and not everyone who attends to you wearing ward coat is truly a Dr especially in that you people's Ph.

lmaooo, this story just made my night.

Reminds me of when my elder sis had an attack and fainted. She was rushed to the hospital and on reaching there our wonderful doctors started asking questions, including her academic state, like duh seriously?. After checking her bp the doctor said it was normal and that nothing was wrong with her, can you imagine? When she regained consciousness we went back home,by this time my dad was back from work so he took her to another hospital. After proper check up the doctor said her BP was high and that she had chest infection, she was admitted immediately. This is someone who some "doctor" said was okay some minutes ago.

Our health sector is in a sorry state.
See another one. Smh. I guess the second doctor that got the diagnosis right was not part of the health sector. Going from what you've typed up there, I would also want to know your educational status because diseases spread faster in stupid people like you. I'm sorry I couldn't resist

In PH back then when I was preggie with my first child,One Doctor diagnosed appendicitis because I told him I had abdominal pain,I was even given intravenous injections and antibiotics to suppress it for two weeks before operation.Fortunately,we decided to check another hospital to be sure. That's about seven years ago and my daughter will be seven on Christmas day.Ive not gone for the surgery till date. You are lucky you were not diagnosed with HIV cheesy
Some of you are so bold in your ignorance, so do you think all appendicitis require surgical intervention, don't you know some resolve with just antibiotics. Or you think because u were pregnant u couldn't have had appendicitis. Nigerian patients are really irritating. The yeye OP complained about fever in a country where malaria is endemic, don't you think that should be topmost in the doctors mind. She complains the doctor was asking her questions, foolishly not knowing he was trying to find out any other reason for the fever apart from malaria. The doctor makes a diagnosis from the information you give him and examinations. If you give crappy information like the OP you will get crappy diagnosis especially in a crowded hospital

Nobody is born with it,it is purely down to live style, the kind of food you eat a d the way you get rid of it(exercise)Nigerians eat all the wrong food like the poster you quoted said, even though they have all the best food fruits and vegetables nature can provide.

Now that the Chinese have come with their poisonous nofflrs and all sorts,it is only going yo get worse. Same with shop rite.

Yeah,it could run easily in families, but it is all purely due to lifestyle, avoid the thongs that triggers it,you will be free of it,despite the fact that it could have killed your parents, grand parents or whoever.
Oga redsun, type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease. Meaning your antibodies attack the B cells of your pancreas and you are unable to produce adequate insulin. You are born with it. Now my point is Garri flour is not bad. It won't cause diabetes. Diabetics are not told to avoid garri. Our soups are quite balanced, so u can't tell me garri and soup is poor diet. Now I agree with you on exercise. Try and read more about diabetes on your spare time

.
Garri has a low glycemic index, meaning it increases your blood sugar slowly and steadily, so your body can handle the glucose, unlike yam that shoots it up rapidly. So there is nothing wrong with garri. Diabetes is not caused by by too much sugar. It's either you're born with it or you acquire it years later after your insulin receptors have been messed up, may be by some chemical imbalance. Ppl who eat badly, especially processed food, have higher chances of developing it.
