^^ How many Abuja men have you met? I hate it when people pull crappy stats out of nowhere
Sorry. Let me say; 99% of abuja married men THAT I HAVE MET. Happy? |
texazzpete: Don't be silly. Lots of men of that age use social networks. So you just come on forums like this to insult people? Did I say anything to insult u or anyone here? All u want is for me to respond in the same insulting tone abi? Well, sorry to disappoint u, I'm not like that. When I mentioned social sites, I said facebook and 2go. I exempted NL and that implies that some other reasonable sites are exempted too. I'm sure my response was also directed to the example the OP gave. So I don't know what your ish is with me. Pls, watch your language. |
Opera Mini: @ poster, kindly define addiction in this issue?Guy, forget addiction. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with this! When was 2go introduced in naija? That man was above 40 when 2go came out and as of then, he shouldn't even have joined it! What was he looking for THEN? Was he addicted 'before' he joined? The man has a clear intention! |
chidyhels: Ds qstn shud be d oda way round_cos gals nw,both engagd and single wear ring on dat finger. But d men_y dont u put on ur rings.Gbam!!!! 99% of abuja married men don't wear their rings o!! Hei! Their own worse pass. If you doubt me, check their pigeon holes. Seriously, to me, the ring is the only physical thing that tells who is married. So if you don't wear yours, then obviously, you don't want people to know you are married! Simple. But only God knows what you're looking for to hide your marital status. |
*unfollowing* Rochas is doing 'this' and 'that' yet no one can say exactly what he has done? SHAME |
Hmmm. I don't know what you guys mean by 'being addicted'. Insomnia and marital issues on their own are flimsy excuses. I don't see any reason why a man of that age bracket, who is neither a political figure or an artist of any kind should be on social sites like facebook and 2go. NL is pardonable. Everyone knows that men don't quite rap with their fellow men on chat unless they're buddies or biz associates. But in this case, I don't see that man's colleagues staying up late every night to chat with him on 2go. Neither do I see his friends(who are in same age group) staying up to chat! So its just nonsensical for a man of that age to be on social sites like 2go! |
Oludrex: Oga Ade ... Camera dey for that time??..sorry to say bt U dumb gan oPls wake up joor. Stop being too uptight. There was no camera then and no nigeria too. The poster said 'IF...' That's a condition and it means that all things have to be equal. Present naija situations equated to the Israel's of old. |
Abagworo: This is Wetheral road now. You were the one that personally posted pictures of its open drainage and worn out median some months ago. That road has NEVER been in a bad state for as long as I can remember. Using slabs to cover gutters doesn't qualify him to take credit for the good state of the road. Tell me something tangible pls. Let him leave all the good roads that mbakwe left in perfect shape and do something to his name! I've said it before, repainting bricks and slabs and filling pot holes is not road construction. Tell me something nice plsssssssss |
Toktee: Is people like you that do receive a bag of rice during xmas from pdp and think you are enjoying divident of democracy,...can you tell me that all the tractors that rochas bought for rular road are in owerri, can you also tell me that all the pensioneers that received their entitlement are all from owerri, can you tell me that the free education in the state is meant for owerri environs,,.,you are a disappointment, can you point out three project ohakhin complete in imo state;cos your oldman is a pdp does not mean you should become a liar. With all due respect mr man or woman, I bid u to watch your tongue. I don't have any problem with owerri people and what rochas has done for them. If u must know, they're my people. Stop being unnecessarily fanatical. I hate politics. I don't know what brought about pdp and ohakim in my post. I never mentioned those. I don't have issues with him being impeached or not. My problem is with the people in this forum not even the topic. Imo people know what they're doing. Be it politics, game or reality, if rochas is found guilty, he'll leave. Its quite surprising that after all the 'heaven and earth' rochas is said to have done, all u can mention is tractors and pension. I'm more disappointed in U than U in me. Remember, I stand to be corrected and proven wrong. I NEED A LIST OF ROCHAS' ACCOmPLISHMENTS. I'm not taking sides with anyone, both past and present governors. I Just want the NLers here to say EXACTLY what he has done. |
Please, I beg u all in God's name. If you are: 1) not from Imo state 2) From imo state but u go there once or twice a year 3) A PASSER-BY in Imo state(U just stay a while for biz purposes or passes through to get to your state) 4) Don't currently RESIDE in imo state Then SHUT THE F-UP! I'm not saying Rochas should or should not be impeached but if u must take sides with him, state categorically, what he has done. Owerri is not the only town in imo state. If all the good u see are in owerri then what makes him a good governor? People there are crying and lamenting while people in town who rarely go home are making noise. What EXaCTLY has he done. In a few months of his stay in office, there were giants structures and establishments of his(private) among which is the new hotel along okigwe-owerri road. Someone tell me the effing good things the man is doing! He converted the almighty, standard-structured general hospital in umuguma to a specialist hospital (which he has personal interest in) and scattered the nurses and doctors. The remaining he owes salaries. He converted the ministry of works facility in okigwe to some stu*pid nonsense. He repaints one or two structures and patches the road to your father's house and u come here and talk nonsense. I don't care. If he stays or goes, but remember, for the people of imo to raise their voices, they must have been turning deaf ears to his excesses for long. Please, prove me wrong and tell me what he has done. |
This is fu'c'king hysterics. .Are you comparing a sub to an okada ? Oh please! All these their stu*pid NYSC rules! In the north, u can't tell who's a female corper cos they don't even represent in their modes of dressing. They really do look like masquerades EVEN in camp! Whoever is saying that muslim corpers only wore white hijab should know that, white or black, a hijab is not part of the Nysc uniform or dress code. They wear it to uphold their faiths. I don't see y this girl should not be allowed to do same. And for the record, all these yeye rules don't even exist in abuja camp o. People wear skirts in camp and behaved as they liked cos the so called Nysc officials are even scared of the corp members in case they're well connected. Stu*pid rules. Whatever happened to freedom of worship |
Oh! And for the record, I'm in abuja(in case u decide to pay for my tickets) ![]() |
Thanks everyone. I'm so grateful! Ur contributions helped especially the links. Thanks a lot dreamsinbc, hazureal and honey86. @yomibabe, thanks too. I'm quite sure u know that what u said about 'not being able to learn without seeing someone make it' is not true. But I understand its all about ur pockets here, otherwise, u know it wouldn't hurt u to drop a hint as someone who's into it. Nevertheless, if u can pay for my flight tickets, I'll be sure to even pay u 10k to 'watch' u bake. Happy sunday y'all! |
Pls, can someone help me with a good cake recipe? I know there might be a thread for it somewhere here, but I've searched and couldn't find anything related to that. But if u can give me a link to a good thread, I'll appreciate that too. Also, try as much as u can to be clear on the steps and measurements. Not like I must follow them accurately, but I wouldn't want to start weighing every damn thing. I'm in nigeria, lbs/grms/kg don't quite work well. Pls. Thanks |
fluid26: Thx Chikk, though I do all that and more. I guess 'settling down' would put an end to the recurring decimal. Then settle down if u think its d solution. But bear in mind that ur services might come in handy at a point in ur family, and you all will suffer it if ur culinary skills are below average(at least for a man who's not a caterer). Good luck anyway |
A catering school? For real? @OP, be careful and try to concentrate when u cook(u need it well as u're not an expert). Try to take note of the ingredients when u prepare a particular dish. That way, u'll know what u need to prepare that dish in future. ALWAYS take note of your measurements and steps. Know d quantity of EVRYTHING u put in your food so that u'll know how to make adjustments (if need be) next time. And if the food is perfect to u, then u stick to that recipe. I hope this helps. Good luck |
brokoto: @chikk, 5*3=15 right? the question then becomes 5+5+5-5+5+5-5+15. ok now do the additions first. the 1st 3 becomes 15. then the question becomes 15-5+5+5-5+15. the next addition will now be -5+5 which is zero.the question now becomes 15+5-5+15. now do the last addition which is -5+15=10.the final question now becomes 15+5+10=30. abeg e don do na.i hope seriallink is not the one liking this post cos this is far better than what he posted. @brokoto, understanding that u're solving left to right, thus taking both addition and subtraction at same time(not having one preceding the other), i'll say thanks for the correction. It was worth the time. **un-following** |
Hmm, na wa o. Everyone is intelligent. See another logic. I stand to be corrected not insulted. Tell me u're using any other mathematical rule, i may accept but not BODMAS! |
seriallink: I never expected this from u, Chikk; I thought u wrote in one of ur threads that u are a CS graduate, I don't know why you are arguing unnecessarily for a simple BODMAS question. Check my previous posts and u'll see how I solved the simple question with enof explanations. Infact, u are the one embarrasing urself, coz if elementary arithmetic like this would confuse u, then I don't know how u managed to pass courses like Algebra, Calculus, Stats n Mathematical Method back in the Univ. What a shame! |

What a shame!Agreed. I dont doubt u. I be olodo. In fact, i chop my school fees for school. But pls, for the benefit of other viewers, i challenge u to do what i asked pls. follow the bodmas rule and do all additions before subtractions. Then tell us what u got. If u're smart enough to do multiplication first, u should know that addition is next. Trust me, if u still get ur 30 (or any other number at that), i'll apologise. |
First, the man will carry the goat across leaving the lion and the yam. Then he returns to carry the yam across but brings back the goat. That leaves only the yam at point B. Then he drops the goat at point A and carries the lion across to point B, leaving lion and yam at point B and the goat at point A. He finally comes back to take the goat across and Journey continues. Happy sunday |
@OP, i didnt fail it o. As i said earlier, i put the braces there so that people will understand how i grouped the like terms. What else should i have used to show people like seriallink my workings? Ur solution is same as mine but without the braces that would've explained it well, seriallink still doubts u. @seriallink, u're making a very embarrassing argument. I hide my face in shame. U were one of the first people that mentioned BODMAS in this question yet u cant use it. Bodmas rule says addition should be done before subtraction. Pls, do all additions first before subtractions and tell us what u got. (dont forget to show us how u did it so we can all learn from the almighty seriallink who has a high IQ to solve quadratic equations). |
Seriallink, I only put the braces to show how i got my answer. Fluid, i think u're mistaken. What i have is (15-15-5+15) and not (15-15-5-15). But where the eff is the OP? It looks like he doesn't even know it and wants to learn! Anyway, i'm off to bed. Nice one fluid. good night. |
fluid26: You were correct the first time. 10 is the answer.yes, thats true. But if u follow BODMAS to the end, u should add before u subtract. Therefore, having (15-15-5+15), i think u should add (5+15) first before u subtract to get the final answer. @OP, DON'T JUST TELL US THE ANSWER O, MAKE SURE U SHOW UR WORKING |
chikk: (5+5 + 5) - (5 + 5 + 5) - (5) + (5 x 3)On a second thought (5+5+5) - (5+5+5) - (5) + (5x3) =15 - 15 - 5 +15 = 15 - 15 - 20 = -20 |
petokey: 5+5 + 5 - 5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 x 3= ?(5+5 + 5) - (5 + 5 + 5) - (5) + (5 x 3) =15 - 15 - 5 +15 = -5 + 15 = 10 ( so i think fluid is correct) |
Just thought i should tell you; there are many lollipops in nigeria that looks exactly like the ones you just posted so i suggest you consider rebranding. Good luck again. |
Hmm. Good luck |
If your target consumers are children, then chocolates and lollipop are your best bet. Adults tend to go for less sugary and/or minty candies and gums. But to tell the truth, i like dark chocolates. |
Lord Babs: That akward moment when your mate demands a prayer before sex...'Father Lord, we thank you for this wonderful hour...we dedicate this course to your holy name...sanctify our unmentionables...we commit the bedspread to you oh Lord, let it be in good condition by the time we finish...let your angels hold us tight, that we may not fall off the bed...let your holy spirit teach us the right way and position...we ask for the ointment of the holy ghost, to lubricate our unmentionables...we rebuke all spirits of premature e*aculation...let the f o r e play be heavenly...and let the release be glorious...forgive any consequent screams Lord...and take absolute charge of this hour...for in sex name we pray...AMEN!' larride: Guys, make una read d yoke again now..... The guy says *********in sex name we pray******** not in God's name. @ OP, you try small@larride can u listen to yourself? With respect to the emboldened texts, can u boldly tell me again that this stupidd son of a f*a*g was praying in s*e*x name? |
I swear this op is a fool! Poo head! |
