RomanceRe: Your Girl Friend Cheated And Told You by chikk(f): 9:00am On Jul 19, 2012
ifihearam: He nor get wetin person nor go hear for nairaland.you sleep with a guy UNINTENTIONALLY??this serious, take advantage of in what sense?? where you drugged to follow the guy to his place??did he rip you off your clothes?? Lies you had wanted to sleep with the guy all along and don't blame that as taking advantage. I hate that word like the word boko haram ..
And who said these must be the case before a girl can be said to have been taken advantage of? U sound like it is totally impossible for a girl to be taken advantage of. I may agree with jigwe101, who said cheating and being taken advantage of are two different things, but i'll never agree with u. When u hear peoples' stories of what happen to girls both in and outside their homes, (even at their work places!) u won't say what u just said.
RomanceRe: Your Girl Friend Cheated And Told You by chikk(f): 12:47am On Jul 19, 2012
jigwe101: She's trying to get rid of you one way or another. No sane girl will bluntly tell her fiance that she cheated. She probably wants to end the relationship & that's the only thing she thought of that will definitely get rid of u
I have nothing to tell the Op, i think he can read the writings on the wall. My interest is on the boldened texts above. I don't quite agree with u there. Any sane girl who wants to get the load off her mind will tell her man especially if it wasn't intentional, like she was taken advantage of in any way.
RomanceRe: Can You Love Someone Without Checking On Or Calling The Person? by chikk(f): 11:01am On Jul 13, 2012
cog1: @ Serpentine,I gbadun your reply
I also believe the guy can also try to find out if monetary
Issues are involved.
What I mean is that you need money to
Buy recharge cards and if the girl in question isn't working
Then pray, where will the money come from for the cards?
I noticed he didn't say the girl disturbs him for money.
Op try sending her cards sometimes since you know she's not working.
Then watch if the situation improves or not.
Blessed day.
hmm. I think u have a point here but then, he has asked her and she never said money was her problem, she says thats the way she is. So i think if thats the fact and she truely loves the guy, then she should adjust nah haba. Personaly, i can neither do, nor take such. But OP, How sure are u that she loves u? It might be a sign that she doesnt o

RomanceRe: Do Nigerian Girlz Accept Flowers Nowadays? by chikk(f): 10:25am On Jul 11, 2012
190: Nice question op

nigerian girls over to u undecided
Imagine!! Pls, Nigerian men should leave women alone! Why do you keep attacking us? @190, have you ever sent flowers to your girl and she threw them to your face? U can never know if your girl likes flowers until you send her one.
OP, the answer to your question is YES. But i think the right question here should be: Do nigerian men EVER send flowers? If you know you've never sent flowers to a woman, then get the hell out of this thread!
Women like flowers and will accept/reject them if, and ONLY IF their men gives them one.
So if u want to know if nigerian women still accept flowers, SEND ONE TO YOUR WOMAN NOW!

omotohdarajugbogbolo: LOVE 50% WHILE DATING BUT LOVE WHOLE HEARTEDLY WHEN MARRIED
THIS IS BECAUSE WHILE DATING, IT MIGHT NOT LEAD TO ALTAR. SO TO PREVENT IRREDEEMABLE HEART BREAK, ITS BETA TO LOVE HALF-WAY WHILE DATING.

YOURS SINCERELY,

OMOTOHDARAJUGBOGBOLO grin
Hmm, but do u think that loving 50% while dating will ever lead to the alter?
No replies? This is serious ooo
Lol, quite serious i must confess. But thats one hell of a question the OP asked o. In fact, for me, i think u shouldn't give all ur love so it doesn't become an obsession, and its too risky cos if u ever get hurt, hmm, ur world will end. Express it, yes but not extremely. But if i must stick to the question, i'll say after u've hooked up.
RomanceRe: Selfishness In Relationships...Ladies' Opinions Required by chikk(f): 8:58am On Jul 11, 2012
bittyend: Sharing a friend's problem with you guys. I'll talk in first person to allow you guys connect to his predicament to stimulate positive opinions.

So, I'm contemplating getting into a relationship again very soon, and like every deep thinking person would do; I had to go back in time into my past relationships to re-examine what went wrong in those relationships..

I started 'proper' relationships quite late in my late teens, and I've only been in two relationships. So, I don't consider myself to be that experienced when it comes to relationships. Before that, it was just getting with girls with no strings attached..

The two proper relationships I've ever been in were marred by accusations of my alleged selfishness (something that still bothers me till today). I've never been a selfish guy, even my greatest enemy would testify to that. But I still don't get why my exes thought I was selfish, yet we're still very close. Maybe it was because they loved and cared about me, more than I did about them.

Basically, I'm a thorough bred naija don, and self-love before others has always been my watchword since I learned how wicked the world and people were in a hard way.

Please ladies, I need honest opinions on how to curb this alleged 'selfishness'. I want my next relationship to be the last and final one...
interest @bold: why then do u say u're not selfish?
FamilyIs A Child's Education An Achievement To Parents Or Their Responsibility? by chikk(op): 7:36pm On Jul 06, 2012
Esteemed Nairalanders, please i really need your views on this. A man once told me that his accomplishment last year was that he added another graduate to the number in his family (like his child entered and graduated from university the same year). A few days ago, i overheard a retired civil servant tell his son that he (the father), single-handely trained him in school (i don't know who he expected to do it before) and that it wasn't easy (agreed). Therefore, the son shouldn't ask him what he achieved throughout his years as a civil servant. So i ask, please, is it an achievement if parents train their child/ren in school or is it their responsibility as the parents? Is it not the child's entitlement from the parents?

Guidedee: NO SIR/MA.
I think What bravalad is trying to say is that 'NAME' is a COLLECTIVE NOUN and as such, should be treated as ONE. 'My name is' is the correct phrase and i can't just understand why people are arguing over this even with all the graduates in this forum. I fear o!

EducationRe: Girl With Nine A1s In WASSCE: She Is So Brilliant Her Teachers Feared Her Result by chikk(f): 9:09am On Apr 21, 2012
Pointout: Incredible good result, what a brillance.Keep it up girl!!!!!!!!!!

But i sincerely think the state government under the commissionier of education
went to far.

It should have being enoungh to send her a letter of congratulation

recognising her contribution in making the state proud.

The act of the state government makes the state & the authorities too cheap
and a laughing stock.

Just because somebody made distinction it doesnt matter how many A1's,ist not enough
justification to drive in a state car, let alone driving
with the honourable commissioner. Naja woke up!!!!!!!!!

So, tell me what will happen by the time she finishes university with top grade?
I think the state government will ask that she drivers in the Governors car.
incredible, how we attach no respect to our Authorities.

That's why every ant and mosquito that is making lauching or opening whatever,
associate the President office with the occassion. No respect.

All Offices of authority be it in the state or local level, should be handled
with great respect, and if the holder cannot show altimate respect to their
offices, then they should step down.

She is a brillant girl, all encouragement and support should be given to her,
but our authority should be authority.

May God continue to bless Nigeria, My home land.
Can u wake up? what the F**k is the big deal in riding in a freaking commisioner's car? appreciate good things pls. and know it that the essence of doing all they did for her is to encourage her and other nigerian students. if u ask me, i'll even say she deserves more than she got. e no easy abeg! or did someone tell u the commissioner is complaining? mtcheeeeew..........

Odunnu: Easy Man. You are wrong. Keep quiet and let those who know educate you on the system here
I don't think this statement is called for. The guy might be right in the sense that during his time, the system was like that. U too might be right if u took junior waec anytime within the last 15years(or less). So either of u can be right but i dont see a reason for him to shut up cos during my time, there was NOTHING like making an 'A' in junior waec. Talk more of A1. It was distinction, credit, pass and fail(which u re-sit).
EducationRe: Girl With Nine A1s In WASSCE: She Is So Brilliant Her Teachers Feared Her Result by chikk(f): 9:41am On Apr 20, 2012
My problem is that nigeria will not look out for such people with brains, train them to any level so they can serve their country and humanity well. All she gets now is a stupid ride in a commissioner's car and a standing ovation. As for the scholarship, its not the first time we hear such. Pls, her parents should be ready to train her o, cos, after sometime, all the promises the govt made will cease. When america hears of her, takes her out, trains her well and refuse to release her, our govt will know such a thing as brain drain
Sadly, I haven't had it in a long time, so I wouldn't know. What makes the current taste bad?
it tastes like and industrial milk and its not smooth anymore, slightly rough on the tongue. Those i can endure but recently, i discovered the presence of sugar in their milk. The quality is now so low that i have to take up to 4 heaped table spoons full before a cup of beverage tastes good.
