Business is business bro.. They should be protocols and structure in any business you do. That is my point bro, and never mix family, or friends with business the chances that it will end bad is pretty high.. Why would I give my car out to a driver without doing the basic, background check, guarantor, reference, address of driver etc.. My brother let us think ahead and not behind... this is the reason African business don't pass on from generation to generation... partners need to do their due diligence when looking for drivers.. That is my point, whether the driver swears he is the best driver, u still need to follow basic protocol before hiring him ..
But, dru3 my fellow boss grin
You have been following protocols in recruiting huh
How come drivers still dump drop your car, and even owe you untophuh

Just like "the car" said, allow some form of flexibility.

No amount of protocols is ever too much. Remember you are dealing with humans, not robots.

We go reach there soon.

That’s the way forward. Pay your rent ahead before you collect car.

You don’t need to pay Security Deposit, just pay your weekly rental ahead.

Problem Solved.

TheCar:
It’s a one time payment in case of default.

Since car owners give cars out to drivers on post-paid rental basis, you need a commitment fee from the driver in case he default in his weekly rental payment.

If you do or can do prepaid rental, you don’t need to collect Security Deposit since drivers can’t default on prepaid rental payment.
Drivers can default.
Take for instance that partner whom the driver set his debit account on Uber back by over #48,000. grin

Never say never.

yes I did. I want to believe the context is, you've worked 2-3weeks and your partner has received payments in excess(say 15-20k per week) of agreed weekly rental; partner owes u 45-50k, please cut off uber, work on taxify and don't pay him for the week. When u break even, balance accounts.

No monkey deh work, baboon deh chop mantra again.
Before him go invite come him house say him wan inspect car, come collect key tell u say him wan use car that week. You will loose it all.

Some of these partners are crooks too.
You can say this again. But I prefer "Evil forces of money"

Go to their office, explain your dilemma and requests that he be given cash card trips only. Once the debt is settled or to a minimum you can bear, collect the car. He's probably overworking to buy a car.

There is one issue affecting drivers but nobody have talked about it.

Why is it that most partners find it hard to remit excess of Uber payment. That is... Drivers' card trip of previous week is more than the rental.

I noticed most partners find it difficult to transfer the remaining balance to their driver.

I think that's Greed na
After two partners on this thread scammed me, I have resolved NEVER to pair to any partner account.

I can practically say every partner is guilty of that. Not really greed, but evil forces of money.

One partner on this thread was even deducting #52 bank charges from my excess balance for weeks.
