Honestly I get where everyone is coming from that wants it lifted. If not for the fact that you could pass it to someone who decides to lockdown I would say to each his own. Unfortunately, like vaccines, it only works if everyone does it.

To those saying it's increasing even with lockdown, you've told us exactly why. Ogba and co are not doing it so yes, it will continue to increase. Also, it's not necessarily increasing, it's also that they tested more so they are discovering already existing cases. The more you test, the more you'll find.

Over 90% of viral carriers in the first half-14days of lockdown should have been negative. So where are the new and increasing infections coming from in the second half-14days of lockdown?
Albeit new test kits and increasing coverage of testing undecided

Once you growl mistakenly at me, straight to the cage. No food and water, till am satisfied.

Any dog that challenges its master will eventually fight/bite/kill its master.

Sometime ago, when I was still very young, and one of our dogs challenged a familiar face, biting him in the process despite shouts calling him to order.

My uncle just sentenced the dog to death.
We all cried, but no room for appeal. My cousin carried the dog to the gallows (Calabar kitchen). That was its end.

Lockdown has not achieved any purpose.
70% of the drivers I know have covid pass and have been working and cashing out like no mans business.

Compliance rate is about 10%, at least in Lagos.

People are moving anywhere they want to.

When last did you hear of any arrests?

In fact, from 7pm - 6am is free movement time. Lol.

Yes it is mild cos even RTA has killed more people in 4weeks than covid alone that has recovery rate of over 90%.
Self protection will be the way forward henceforth. Just like you wear condoms to prevent HIV, some don’t and still don’t contact it. It will be a personal choice.

I read somewhere from a moniker on nairaland whose in-law was on that flight and he received the inflight report thereafter.
Conclusion was; the pilot was totally at fault. He should have returned back to abuja but he didn’t because he had a flight to catch to the US from Lagos.

I hope that moniker quotes me with the report again. It’s a long long time tho.

Nothing will happen if that lockdown is suspended.
Mortality rate of covid in Nigerian is 3% currently and I believe it’s way lower than that cos anybody that dies is automatically covid positive.

Inflation has already set in. We need our economy back on.

We might have to make do with personal protection henceforth.
Lockdown has not achieved any result IMHO.

My own experience is simple.
Out of three tenants that moved in together, am still the last man standing.
First Lady got sick and couldn’t renew her rent, then left.
Second guy had issues with his business and couldn’t renew his rent and left. Before he left, he visited me; asking if I didn’t notice any change in my life/business since I moved in. I replied No.

My third year here and am still standing tall, maybe cos am a night crawler. I hardly sleep at home. I don’t entertain visitors. Even when am home, I park my car far away and sneak in.
Till date none of my neighbors or landlord knows what and what is inside my house.
I have no known itinerary. I don’t cook at home too. Lol.

Infact, I spend most of my days in my family house elsewhere.

Am still looking at my landlord with okpolo eyes though.
