It is not a matter of being loaded. It's a matter of convenience and what services me best. First of, using an uber to go from my office to Ikeja. And getting permission to go an pick up within their work hours is enough stress. Paying for courier was the best alternative.

How long did it take for you get your passport back once you got the email from VFS informing you that a decision had been reached?

This morning I got a an email and text msg from VFS informing me that a decision has been reached. I paid for courier service however, when I check the VFS site, it says my passport has been delievered. I have not received my passport o. How long does it take to receive your passport if courier was used? I'm in Lagos and I used the Ikeja VFS.

What is your priority date? When was it received and what date was your update changed to actively being reviewed?

They received my petition on the 8th of August 2024, but there has been no acknowledgment email from them till now.

They hardly send notices via email even if you fill out the form indicating your interest to get notified via email. I will suggest you contact them cause it has been over a month. I just feel Nigeria's mailing system sucks. My application was received on 16th Sept and I got a notice in the mail on the 26th Sept. But I put it in the care of someone in the UK so so that maybe an advantage in receiving correspondence.

Good day everyone, USCIS received my petition thru DHL on the 23rd of September 2024 but up to this moment I have not received any notification from USCIS concerning the petition received by them. Trust is not too late or how can i get in touch to USCIS.

My advise is that you should wait. It takes time to receive a notice from them. It is too early to contact them. I will say give them a month and you should also keep in mind that you are mailing from Nigeria. The mail system to receive letters here if it is not by registered mail leaves a lot to be desired.

FYI, they received my petition on 16th Sept and I got notice of receipt on the 26th Sept however I put it in care of someone located in the UK.

Since April 1, the $300 has become part of the EB2 NIW fees. Apparently, petitioners that are not employers are also considered to be under those who employ 0-25.

So you have to select NO to question 5 (the non profit question) and YES to question 6 (the question about being an employer that employs 0-25)

Until you do this, and add the $300 as a seperate fee, they'll keep returning the petition.

Please I need clarity. I am currently doing a DIY eb2 niw application from Nigeria. Important questions below:

1. What are the fees? I know about the general fee of $715 however is it an additional $300 or $600?

2. Applying from Nigeria, what is the payment method and how do you send this payment?

3. On the I 140 application, what do you fill out on questions 4,5,6,7 because I saw in a recent post, you are supposed to fill out NO to
question 5 and YES to question 6. So what do you fill out for question 4 and 7 as they are all related to 5 and 6.

Please answers to the above questions will be greatly appreciated.

Got my pick up documents email from TLS today. Will pick it up tomorrow. Biometrics done 21/11. Fingers crossed.

I am sure you did as you did not get a refusal email. So you opted for DHL delivery?

Scammer. What can you do for the person? PEOPLE, please do not fall for all these scammers who tell you that they can get you an earlier appointment. Just keep checking at various times in the day BY YOURSELF. That is exactly what they do and they come and lie to desperate people seeking to get earlier appointments that they can.

for someone to get rejected in the UK as a student, that person must really have bad luck.

I got rejected in the UK when I was doing my post graduate degree in 2009. When I returned to Nigeria, I have since been issued 2 US visas and 1 just recently.

I made payment and fill the form for scheduling appointment, and haven’t gotten date since then.

Are you drop box? I cannot tell you why I had available dates for the following week. Luck I guess. As I said, when I was done making payment, I received an email the following day giving me the go ahead to schedule. I am not sure how it works. Hope you get your email soon.

My application and payment was made on 7th June. I got an email the next day to schedule an appt. There were lots of dates open for the following week. I’m not sure though why that was the case cause I was expecting to not see an opening until months down the line. I guess I was lucky?

Hello since I asked this question about a week ago, I have my timeline to give as my application process has been completed.

Submitted on June 14th
Received June 15th
Approved June 22nd
Issued June 23rd

I will be picking up my passport most likely next Tuesday from DHL VI. God is good. I wish everyone all the best.

We are on the red list meaning only students, citizen can travel and they have to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days.

Nigeria has now been added to UK's red list. There goes people's Christmas holidays. If you have to travel, you will need to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days.

What happened to the black friday ticket sales for flights to the UK? No movement on ticket sales, in fact they went up lol. BA and Virgin didn't try at all for Nigerians. It was all catered to US. Just sucks and I was looking forward to their sales.

Not yet. It should be with TLS as UKVI stated we need to contact our Visa application center which means to me that they have sent the passport to them. I can't find a direct number for TLS. Do you have it?
