I hate it when I see topics make the front page, where animals; mostly snakes are overkilled. In many cases, it turns out the killed snakes are non-venomous or even endangered species.

He stated that as far as an elected government of the state (kano) is concerned, the Emir of kano is nothing but a public officer; not a civil servant.

Senator Abaribe says that in the next 10 to 20 years' time, the need for oil would have dropped significantly. Rather than Nigeria to depend solely on Oil, she should consider investing more in agriculture since people have to eat and we already have large land in the country that can be used for agriculture.

Seems Senator Abaribe is not new in probing into the financial affairs of the nation when it passes through the senate.

Nigerians were divided into opposite sides based on the concerns he raised recently on the proposed $22b loan which has since been approved.

He had claimed that there was a lack of clarity on the actual purpose of the loan and that the senate had to look at each purpose one by one and deliberate on them. While some Nigerians agreed with him, others didn't.
