I think it is deliberate.Terms and conditions are made inordinately lengthy and written in confusing language. It is a ploy to get potential customers to hit the "agree" button before they know what they are getting into. |

TD4real: hey guys, plz i really need some serious advice on investment banking, its a ahame to say that i'm 21yrs old and currently doing my service year with a dream of becoming a banker but have no idea on how to go about it. i have never even met one before. by banker, i dont mean the custormer care, tellers, account officers or any other operational office, i am referring to the real bankers who deal with financial ratios and investment of the banks money. please i would like to know what it takes and what channels or routes i have to follow.First of all, what did you study? You need to get closer to your target if you did not study Economics,Accountancy,Finance and Banking etc.You can do this doing the Chartered Institute of Bankers Exam or even ICAN.You cld also get employment in a bank as a teller and then do your MBA/Money and Finance then move to where you really wanna be.An alternative is working in a management consultancy (Phillips Consulting,Accenture,Ernst and Young,PWC,) in an investment analysis role. This will expose you to top management of banks and possibly a high level banking job right in your chosen field. Everything dey your hand. |
ifyalways: I find it quite difficult to believe that one could afford USD 2000 for a pilgrimage trip and still be tripping for a common orange or whatever juice. Most of the people there could never hope to afford the air ticket in 10 years. They are in Israel as guests of the Lagos State Government. It is a way that government dispenses political patronage and favour to its devotees.Though I cant see the nexus between the government and the sponsorship of religious tourism. |

chidindufrank: Good for them. But nobe by harvard oEh ehn!No be by Havard abi?Na by wetin?Na by ASUU Strike, poverty, unemployment etc...Some people are simply retarded. |
ayo ade: My advice...avoid any kind of debt by all means. If you cant afford it, you dont deserve it yet. Earn enough to deserve the lifestyle you desire. There is this thing called cashflow.Ideally its better to buy something, take possession and pay over time. You need to pay other bills.Sadly,in our country, the banks only offer a basic product.:the savings account. They dnt have financial creativity. So our financia services industry is dead. |

BrightCar: PART-TIME SCHEME IS PRACTICED EVERY WHERE EVEN IN THE MOST DEVELOPED COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD. ITS PROS IS FAR GREATER THAN THE CONS, IT MUST NOT BE TAMPERED WITH, RATHER POST-UME BE ABOLISHED, IT MAKE NO SENSE, ONLY BENEFITING THE CORRUPT.It all boils down tonhow part-time study is structured. The thing we have not yet realised is that the most important aspect of any institution is its faculty. If we can attract high quality lecturers, then our part-time programmes will do fine. But right now, these programmes are run by teachers with 'lesser" qualifications.People who are not the best in their field. I suspect this is why the Nigerian Council of Legal Education decided to make Law a full-time course ONLY. |
lorretta u: Lie.It happens.Women, especially when they are still young ,want fun and excitement. They dont want a guy who is routine and predictable.Check out Whitney Houston's story. As a young single she had the world at her feet and could virtually choose any man she wanted. The CEO of Sony Music,Tommy Mottola,a mulltimillionaire businessman proposed to her .But she turned him down cos he was a 'suit'.Look what she ended up with.Ever since she met Bobby Brown her life never remained the same again in more ways than one.. |

[quote author=bigheart2013]Sorry to bother good nairalander again with another thread back-to-back. Please help me solve this puzzle. Why is that each time someone helps most (not all) Nigeria woman it ends up either in a drama, scandal, enmity or chaos? Here are some examples: 1. I opened this thread because a friend helped a Nigerian lady get a job in a big firm in Nigeria. The lady resumed without even calling to update him. When the man asked her why, she said she was grateful but added that God only used my friend to help her, it wasn't by his own doing. It could have still happened through another person. My friend was shocked at this type of 'Thank You' 2. A man in USA who used his financial records to file affidavit of support for her niece in Nig to relocate to USA made news when he ended up in court and nearly ended up in jail, when the girl turned around to sue him for not supporting her financially in USA. 3. Some Nigerian men (not all) who trained their wives in school are regretting it today, after the said wife graduated and either dumped them or became very unruly when they start working. 4. Some people who opened businesses for their sisters in Nigeria are regretting it today, as they ended up enemies and insulted. 5. Some who gave gifts to female friends in Nigeria always have one story of ungratefulness or the other. They complained that generally most Nigerian ladies have a mindset that they get what they get because they are attractive women, and generally men are 'mugus' who spend on women to get something in return. My Questions: 1. What is the cause of this general feeling of ungratefulness, and how can we change the mindset of our sisters to start being grateful? 2. What is the best way to give a Nigerian lady a helping hand without attracting these types of ungratefulness, since some of us either still have females we are helping or intend to help? 3. How should one react when one's help is either misinterpreted or treated with ungratefulness, without ending it in drama or enmity? Update 1, Nov 4, 2013: I wish we don't turn this into bashing of Nigerian women. I asked 3 specific questions to see how we can train the mind of some sisters to see the benefits of being grateful, to teach brothers how to give the right way, and how to handle disappointments when they come. I pray we focus on that to make this thread more constructive. [/quGratitude is very easily forgotten.Help because you want to not because you expect a reward and you can never go wrong. |
mizzocho.cinco:Only 4 months down the road and you are already asking for rent money.Have you no shame?Dont you have any pride as a woman? It is people like you who commoditize womanhood.Tomorrow you will complain that he treats you like chattel. |
Anvaller: Well as a man, I can categorically tell you that you left out the most important part that all men will find irresistible. U mentioned sexy but sexy alone isn't just enough. She has to be s3xually mind-blowing and I will always wanna be there wherever she is. But if she is s3xually boring, not creative and unadventurous, she would then be very resistible.Ladies,'Great Sex" particularly 'a great Mouth Gig" will give u d keys to any man's heart. |

HAHAHA
