yes, i see that now. I can also confirm there are 24 teams, so there will be 4 best loosers from the 6 groups.

The ridiculous story that players in Nigerian junior teams vanish after the competitions while players from other junior teams flourish is just absolute crock and it is not backed by facts.

Some players from junior teams will flourish after the competition and some will vanish. It's the way it has always been for all teams. It's not peculiar to Nigeria.

It's just one of those stories that Nigerians like to tell and repeat, even though it's not backed by facts.

There are very many Nigerian players that took part in junior competitions and went on to achieve great success at both club level and senior national team level for a long time after those competitions, just as there are many foreign players that achieved great success at cadet level and fizzled out afterwards. These are caused by a variety of factors and it happens everywhere.
This is apt. Ighalo for example played all age grades for Nigeria, i think Osimhen as well.

How did we guarantee qualification?

What if we lose to Brazil and Italy beat Dominican republic which is quite likely.

Nigeria, Brazil and Italy will all be on 6 points. Is there a best loser in this tourney? NFF should do their homework and ensure the boys dont relax if there is no best loser o.

Obi never came third from the results avaliable, most of his votes were given to Tinubu, in the following states, Rivers state, Benue state, Kaduna state etc, if these states are removed from Tinubus scores, I can tell you Tinubu would be in same level as Rabiu, who came fourth.
Tinubu had zero votes in Rivers, Benue and Kaduna, all the previously recorded APC votes is hereby transferred to labour party. Tinubu is still with the most votes. I think it is deep hallucinations worrying most of you.

There may be a whole textbook as ballot paper o.., there must be stringiest requirements to be met to contest as independent candidate.

plot twist. Tinubu's best performance in SW were in Ondo and Ekiti. cheesy cheesy.
Yorubas that practice christianity in relative percentages are highest in Ekiti and Ondo state. Dividing Yorubas with religion during 2023 presidential election did not work.

Yes, the record is now broken, but it must be validated before it is updated.

Ok just one that died... I hail ooo naija
This is a greater victory than killing 50 ragtag Iswap fighters. It becomes a serious dent on the terrorists strategy. Logistics victory like this is one of the best ways to win the war e.g cutting access to weaponry , food/water, communication channel e.t.c. Recruiting of personnel to iswap/Bokoharam seems not a herculean task.

Politics / Re: Nigerians Seek Prosperity, Their Governors Seek Poverty - Borie Nla by chinchum(m): 10:40pm On May 13, 2023
I am sure that is a wrong investment. With 30 billion naira well invested and monitored on small and medium scale enterprises in the state, it will be reflective on the prosperity of the state.

The state can identify scarcity of production and services within the state e.g poultry & livestock production, agriculture, aquaculture, shoes/bag production. Consultants hired by state to review business plans from state indigenes and invest average of 5 million naira each on 4,000 entrepreneurs that can create at least 5 direct jobs. With at least 75% success rate after 2 years., that translates to 15,000 sustainable direct jobs and hundreds of thousands indirect jobs, wealth surely spread within the state. They can rinse and repeat every term. Our governors treat state money which is quite scarce in a way they won't if it was their private money. State Governors should begin to administer states like business man trying to salvage a failing business. There is so much poverty in virtually all 36 states and almost nil high labour production in most states.

One day, i hope i am privileged to govern a state for four years at least. There are too many dunces as politician and even highly educated but can not use common sense optimally.

Family / Re: I Had Been Restless Having A Chat With My Elder Brother by chinchum(m): 2:51pm On May 12, 2023
DownTime44:
Hi guys

Please i put up this post basically because of my elder brother. I sincerely want to know if i was wrong talking to him, or I could have just let him be. I wasn't myself ever since i talked to him, and i was somewhat having guilty conscience since then.

I have an elder brother, he's 38 years old and also the first son. I am the fourth child in the family of five. The second child is a female and she's married. We lost our third child, that's my immediate elder brother some years back, while i have a younger brother. I came from a humble background. Lost my dad while i was in JS 3, even before his death we had been hustling on a daily basis for survival, and we live happily as one big family. My mother, siblings and i do hawk daily before we could eat. All thanks to public school in Lagos, my family wouldn't have had the opportunity to basic education. We hawk daily after school, weekdays and weekend. My family was bred and brought up in Ajegunle.

Few years after the demise of my father, we struggled to pay house rent. We had to leave Ajegunle to a local and developing area. I didn't allow my family conditions deter or weigh me down. Never! I believe I'd make it in life legitimately without venturing into crime, fraud, theft etc. After my secondary school, i was into all sorts of labour work. I worked in factory, building site, cleared bushes, laundry man , just to save up and further my education. I worked for 6 years after my secondary school, bought a bike from the little savings i had and proceed to school through jamb. I gave the bike to someone who often deliver #6,000 weekly for the upkeep of my family. I was in year 2 when i let go of the bike, it was on a higher purchase and the agreement we have had elapsed. I hustled my way through school and graduated. I'm done with service last year but couldn't land a job, probably due to my age. I'd be 29 this year and most graduate trainee often request for age below 28. Although, i had a 2.1. I'm only managing in a pure water factory to make ends meet, keep soul and body together and support my family

I sat my elder brother down and talked to him. He has been hustling like every other person in the family but i don't understand what's happening. He didn't futher his education nor learn a handwork. He's 38 but still live under his parents roof. He has been doing conductor work for many years. The family had talked to him several times to look for something else. It's fine you are hustling as a man for survival but doing conductor for many years without thinking of what else to do is wrong. A family friend of ours who later got to know what he does for a living had advice him also.

The bus he was following, the driver had misunderstanding with the owner and he collected his bus back. My elder brother had been idle for months, doing nothing. He claimed he has gone virtually everywhere in search of bus he could be working with but couldn't get any. This is a family that we all had to bring something no matter how little to survive. I was talking to him as a younger brother. I asked him why didn't he heed to people's advice when they were advising him then to stop the conductor work and look for something to learn, if perhaps he doesn't want to further his education? He doesn't believe in Nigeria education, because he could count graduates without job or those with petty job. My elder brother wear almost rag as clothes. I had to give him some of my little wears I'm managing. He has just one slippers. We don't wear same size of shoe or sandals, we could have been sharing that also. He sold his phone to feed sometime ago and had been without phone. I was initially saving to get my mum a small phone but i had to give him the phone instead.

He was crying when i was talking to him. I understand the situation of things in the country, which i myself is going through. I was just trying to know what other things he could come up with. I am not happy seeing him sitting idle doing nothing. The fact that he's the first son and found himself in this condition at that age breaks my heart daily. My mum had been so worried about his condition. I had to convince her that things will be better. I don't want her to develop high Blood Pressure that could lead to her untimely death.

Please guys was i wrong talking to my elder brother?
i am sorry to inform you that you have to focus on yourself for now. I am not saying you can't provide occassional assistance like when he was sick and you needed to buy medications for him. A mother with her toddler on a flight is always advise to fix her oxygen mask before assisting the toddler during a flight turmoil.

You cant pull him out of the vicious cycle he is stuck in at this time; you have to improve yourself optimally to find a sustainable help you can provide him. You may advise he learns driving and seek hire purchase of tricycle for commercial transportation. It appears your brother is mentally fatigue and laid back which is a recipe for failure.

Osinbajo would have done better in most Southern states than Tinubu . i believe in all 6 south west states, benue, plateau , taraba, nassarawa, edo, fct (11 states + fct) , his performance in the SE when compared with Tinubu would have been a marginal improvement. he surely would not achieve 25% in up to 24 states
His performance in the NW will be close to disaster. NE wont be much of a difference. He would have achieved about 7 million votes with almost half of that from the SW.

Lagos is the biggest contradiction in the world today.
The 5th largest economy in Africa ( which means it generates huge income),
yet one of the most unliveable places in the world due to
lack of social and health services, lack of order, no electricity, bad electricity, bad roads, bad transportation, no flood prevention, bad emergency services, failing schools, bad policing, bad sanitation and more.

The question begging to be answered is where has all this huge income gone?
That section is even in Ogun state, but hate for Lagos wont let you see road. In your small mind, take note that flooding can be natural.

By the way, would really love to see this barca team play Leicester FC men ...would really like to see how far their techniques can't take them elsewhere since they are superior to every other female team
it is almost impossible for Osoala to win highest goal scorer but not impossible. She is on 20 goals and the highest goal scorer is on 24 goals with 4 games to spare, it cant be impossible.

Completion date of 2025 if true is worrisome. With subsidy removal in the horizon, i sincerely hope it is completed less than 12 months from now. It appears financing constraints is what may allegedly push the project to 2025. This writeup provides figures that appears like fact and hard to doubt, but i still hope it is not true. Completion date has been moved a lot.

dboY1123:
I lost my brother early last month and I have been unsettled and paranoid. He visited us a day before and he was healthy and hearty only for us to hear of his death the next day which was on Sunday.

He was admitted in the Hospital, on the bases that he was short of blood. He took 4/5 pants of blood and stayed 1/2 weeks before he was discharged and that only made him live for a month or so.

I want to know more about his death, exactly what happened. His wife is someone who didn't relate well with us (in laws) and she distanced my brother from us, while he objectively did as well.

This wife didn't visit my mum throughout her stay in the hospital for more than 3 months before my mum passed on a year ago. When I visited the hospital where my brother was rushed to being the same place he was admitted, they told me that he must have been bothered about somethings, and that the drugs he was given parts were hypertensive, that he stopped taking the drugs and all those excuses.

I was informed by the nurses that my brother has been suffering from insomnia, he hardly sleeps in nights and if he does, it's just few hours. All these things, the wife didn't tell us anything.

Now, I want to take the fight to her. I need her to tell me exactly what transpired, how did it happen! She's been in 40 days mandatory sit-at-home stuff and I can't wait to sit her ass down and interrogate her.

Should I get her arrested for questioning by the police?

Modified
Sorry about your loss. Bear in mind your brother was suffering from insomnia, and on medications but did not disclose this to you his brother, it will be against logic to now start fighting his wife for not informing you.
