In a presidential election, the governors influence does not necessarily have to be a victory , ensuring they narrow the gap of loss, getting at least 25%, even rigging blatantly as witnessed in Rivers state 2023 presidential election are examples of influence.

Governors are sitting on hundreds of billions of annual state allocation and can influence so much. THe reason i believe ADC will struggle, they may win some states in the North if they dont disintegrate before elections. But ADC is mostly disintegrating PDP structure.

You have quite a poor understanding. Tinubu had it easier in 2023 because there was not just PDP for voters against him, there was a strong LP and even NNPP in Kano. It is not the gibs you are saying. Tinubu needs at least 2 to 3 strong opposition parties again in 2027. The el-rufai and Atiku understands this, the reason why they want Obidients under ADC, even when it is clear as day that Obi can not win the ticket. They prefer Obidients are aggrieved after primaries, then they can dangle carrot sticks like 1 term presidency, VP slots, promised ministerial appointments, e.t.c if they win. While many obidients will stay aloof and not vote, of those that vote, they can win the majority of them.

I keep monitoring this guy and he appears to be development centric, however the propaganda around him online is so enormous that you need to doubt anything said about him first and crosscheck before believing. i beleieve you meant 9 governors, excluding the 5 PDP governors that later joined. It had 14 governors going in to the 2015 election.

APGA had 1 governor from Imo, 2 ANPP (Borno and Yobe), CPC had 1 governor i believe from Nassarawa, ACN brought 5 governors( 4 from SW) 1, from Edo state. In all, about 9 governors truly launched APC.
