• Or...God might not let me keep dating this person.

•• But think about it: What could be safer than to be in the will of God?
• What could be more fulfilling than to be exactly in the center of His will?

•• This scene describes it perfectly:
• Jesus had His own will: “...remove this cup from me.”

• “YET NOT MY will, but YOURS be done.” His words are virtually identical to the 4 words He told us to pray: Thy will be done.
•• Was Jesus’ will here sinful? No; He never sinned.
• But if He had followed His desire to escape the cross, we would not be saved!

• So it’s possible for our will to desire things that are not necessarily sinful, but are not the RIGHT CHOICES.

• For example, is it a sin to get very busy and go several days without spending time in prayer and the Word?

• Probably not, but is that God’s will? No.

• Stopping what you are doing and saying, “THY will be done” would certainly bring changed conduct.
Philippians 2:12-13 ...[13] for it is GOD who works in you TO WILL and to act according to HIS good purpose.

13, KJV For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

•• This is a major truth. God works in us “to WILL ... HIS good pleasure.”

•• You may have many legitimate desires, but they’re not all the will of God. Remember Jesus in the Garden? Remember Paul's two sincere false starts before receiving the Macedonian vision? (Acts 16:7-10)

•• Here’s how I believe God wants it to work:
1) Recognize that not all apparently wholesome inclinations are the will of God. Some are, some aren’t.

2) Determine to surrender to GOD CONTROL of your life — “NOT MY will be done.”

3) Determine to ASK Him daily: “THY will be done.”

4) With your heart open and obedient to God like that, watch Him work in your heart “TO WILL and to do of HIS good pleasure.”

In teaching His followers how to pray, Jesus spoke four life-changing words in the Lord's Prayer that can alter the course of your life:

“Not my will, but thine, be done.”

Jesus Christ came and died on the cross of Calvary for our sins and for reunification of man with God.
This sacrifice alone is enough. Accept Christ in your life and live like he did while on earth. We are Christians because we are supposed to live like Christ.
Whatever Christ did while on earth try to emulate him and leave the rest. Heaven at last. Tithe will not prevent you from going to heaven if don't pay. Prove me wrong if you disagree

From all these back and forth deliberations I can confidently say that you are a beneficiary of tithes probably a pastor or an assitant pastor or church trasurer who uses church funds for personal use.
My advise is that people are begining to be wise and read the bible for themselves. they have began to understand that you pastors instill fear in them to pay tithes because its the only way to fund your lifestyles. Its time to tell the members the truth that tithe wont take them to heaven neither will it make them rich because hardwork is the only guarrantee to success in life by Gods grace. It’s not one bible verse. tithing was a practice God revealed to Abraham . God himself testified thst Abraham will teach his family his principles

Genesis 18:19
For I have known (chosen, acknowledged) him [as My own], so that he may teach and command his children and the sons of his house after him to keep the way of the Lord and to do what is just and righteous, so that the Lord may bring Abraham what He has promised him.

It was not only Abraham that practice tithing but his household and generation even to the time of Jacob .

We dont tithe because of the law . But because it’s a principle revealed to our father of faith . God only re enacted it under the Sinai covenant for the people of Israel because they lost it in Egypt .

I am a keyboardist in winners church. I lost my mom am the only child. I got an admission,I was struggling to train my self in school with my little gift and hardwork. I didn't feel bad becuz I've an ambition I was still managing to go to school even if I've some clearance not been settled in school.most times I do send some little money to my dad who's in the villa. Malachi 3:10 answers it all. It says all the full tight should be taken to the house of the Lord. You can give your sister money, gifts etc but ur full tithe is not negotiable

Don't deceive people the Bible actually said we should eat our tithes with our families at a place choose and then give some portions of the tithe to the Levites who will equally be sitting at table with us. Deut. 14:22-23 read please. If you must follow tithing follow to the later don't leave anything behind. Never interprete the Bible to sooth your own yearning for money.

The scripture says the fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much, and this will want me to know the best way to pray according to the Bible and Christian belief.

1. We all know we are different type of human being and our approach to things differ alot.
We have the cool and calm beings, and also the stubborn and aggressive ones.

I see how pastor Adeboye preaches the gospel and pray in a cool and calm way and there are signs, wonders and testimony to that effect...

I also know some agressive preachers and prayer warriors like pastor Paul Adefarasin, N. duncan Williams and TD jakes.

Now, here is why i am writing this write up.

1. I sometimes feel i am too cool and calm in my prayers hence the delay or no answer i have in my prayer requests to the most high.

2. I believe in strategic form of prayer and i also do fast and pray when seeking the face of the lord on something... I don't usually think i am too cool or calm in prayers not until i started waiting endlessly for results.
If i am in a religious gathering, it depends on the leader of the prayer points and the prayer point itself that will determine my ginger and how aggressive i can be, but i don't see it going too hot or too cool.

3.what could be the delay of prayer request of somones need I feel satisfied inside of me when i pray in my own way and style. I don't really have privacy at the moment, and i am someone who really doesn't like people hearing my prayer point if it isn't in a religious gathering and general prayer.

I was born into Christianity and i served the lord in a church unit, but I will like to ask maybe there are ways i need to start praying that i don't know or practice for effective answers from the lord.

N. B. I know jehova witnesses don't pray loud or aggressive prayer, and i also know some other religious organization that doesn't do aggressive praying too.

So which one is which and how do one pray effective prayer with fasting without being aggressive

Christianity is all about living the Christlike life. I.E living like Christ lived while on his earthly mission. He thought us how to pray in the book of John and I also know that in the garden of getsamany he also prayed while the apostles slept. If he was violent in his prayers I don't think the apostles would have found it conducive to sleep there. My submission.
