Beautiful bride. kiss kiss

The amount of negativity here is beyond imagination. Little wonder some of the negative folks find it hard to progress in life. All they always see is ugliness.

You get back what you equally give out. You see negativity, you will equally get that back.

The power of social network. Why did he even post a picture of his daughter on the internet. Now the poor baby is exposed to critiques, abusers and paedophiles. It's sad because when she grows up and comes across these comments, she will be affected.

Being realistic with other people's business is called " Poking your nose where it doesn't belong"

It's also called being judgemental.

So you expect her to know that much @15? I assume you live in SA, if every 15yrs old in SA put postinor to good use as you've been doing they won't have 86,000 recorded abortions last year.
Stop being judgemental because you don't know anything bout them.

Maybe Annie was on Postinor or any birth control measure. We both don't know.

But saying you are 80% sure is judgemental and rubbish.

That's why its not good to judge, if a guy opens a thread that he's 24 and in love with a 15yrs old girl, na so nairalanders go begin match keypad kpakpakpa, sebi una see am now. For all the people quoting me on that 20yrs old that tried to sell her baby, this is another testimony, even if Annie and 2face did not tell us, I'm 80% sure lots of abortions must have gone down the drain, but they had the last laugh. So don't be quick to judge.
How can even be 80% sure about other people's business when you were not there.

If you have aborted don't assume that other people have aborted.

Yes I do spoil him with expensive gifts and help where I can, but I have no obligation to hand it over. But yes we do discuss some important financial spendings like mortgage etc. Other smaller household responsibilities, we agreed that it's his responsibility and my responsibility to save for rainy days.

Yes Africans have their shortcomings, but I bet you assessment of SA is just from the Internet.

SA has made immense progress from the time my family landed in SA.

Their challenges are
poverty ( which was also rife during the old government)
Primary and high school education system ( better than Nigeria though)
Employment
Crime
Power sector ( better than Naija as well)

With regards to infrastructure, you will disappointed to learn how much they have invested and progressed in their infrastructure.

Visit the country and your assessment will change.

SA is not in very good cordial terms with America, so they always paint them with a black brush regardless of progress made in other areas.
Yes the country is not perfect but it's way better than most African countries including Botswana. Botswana's progress is on paper, I you visit the country, they have similar or worst challenges than SA. Employment, crime, education system, power sector, water.

Where does the bible disapprove of cohabitation? Is the bible definition of marriage wrong? How can people who are not married commit adultery. You are still talking about single parents not individual unmarried couples.
Sex between
married + married ( your partner ) = is Godly
widow + widow ( now married to him/her ) = is Godly

married + single ( not you partner ) = is unGodly ( adultery )
married + divorced = is unGodly ( adultery )
married + widow = is unGodly ( adultery)
divorced + divorced = is unGodly ( adultery )
divorced + widow = is unGodly ( adultery )
divorced + single = is unGodly ( adultery )

single + widow = is unGodly ( sexual immorality ) ( unless you marry the widow after marriage its Godly)
single + single = is unGodly ( sexual immorality ) ( unless you both marry after marriage, its Godly )
single + divorced = is unGodly ( adultery + sexual immorality

Cohabitation is not marriage therefore it may be adultery or sexual immorallity ( depends on the status of the partners ). If its between single + single = is unGodly ( sexual immorality )

So cohabitation does not amount to marriage, legally or biblically, it is then adultery or sexual immorality.

There is no single parents in the bible or individual couples. Individual couple doesn't make sense at all. If you are not married and in a relationship you are single ( because you are not married to that man/woman).You have no obligation to the person until you are married.

There is no in-between please, both legally and biblically.

Stop confusing yourself smiley

Miscarriage according to wikipedia "Miscarriage, also known as spontaneous abortion and pregnancy loss, is the natural death of an embryo or fetus before it is able to survive independently."
Forced miscarriage is abortion.
I am still putting this to you that the act was never meant to kill the baby by to let the truth be known.

It was never forced abortion because it was not meant to kill the baby but to let the truth be known.

Miscarriage is not abortion because it happens spontaneously, though natural causes.
Abortion is the act of intentionally removing the foetus, through unnatural causes.

There is nowhere where it says that the water given had concoction to intentionally eliminate the pregnancy. It was just water meant to unveil the truth.

Just like DNA tests while pregnant, if they take your amniotic fluid from the mother while pregnant to test paternity it may harm the baby and one may miscarry, but the act is not to intentionally kill the baby but to know the truth.

.

I think you are mixing up single (individual ) parents and an unmarried couple.
I am talking about unmarried couples not single parents.

Besides the bible definition of marriage is that " This is why a man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh.". If a couple decides not to wear white wedding dress, are they not married according to the bible so far as they have left their parents?
Madame you are the one who is confused.

According to the bible there is no unmarried couple.

There is married and unmarried ( single) and divorced and widowed.

Cohabitation is not even supported by the bible. If one has a baby without being married ( single ) that's adultery even if you have money to support the child. In that way you are depriving the child the opportunity of having legal parents under one roof and caring for his/her other needs ( psychological, parental guidance etc ).

It is clear from what you posted that abortion is prescribed punishment for
an adulterous woman.
So what is the essence of your post ?
Its clear that you didn't read my post. What the essence of asking me??

The whole act was to make the truth known. But not to kill a child.
I don't think that they went through the whole Oath and drinking water act just to particularly kill the baby.

It was just to make all the parties know the truth. The husband be put at ease and also clear the woman's name of adultery.

In mordern days they do DNA test, is it meant to punish woman or kill the babyhuhhuh??

So God does not provide for kids with unmarried parents?
On this point we don't need to even be biblical.
Simple common sense. God provide through parents. Having two parents who are in a healthy marriage brings two incomes which when used wisely properly provide for the children's needs and sometimes wants. So single ( never married ) parents rarely ( though some are able ) are able to provide what married parents can.
Not only materially. Psychological, emotional support, social identity and even parental guidance from both parents and other forms of support which are provided by married parents to raise successful children. That is the reason why children from unmarried homes don't grow up to be well rounded children psychologically etc. Some lack trust, direction, manners and even lack models etc. E.g. A man who doesn't know his responsibilities in marriage because he never had a father figure to model his behavior etc.

If you want proof, go to alot of jails and get each incarcerated persons background. Majority are from unmarried parents background and some dysfunctional backgrounds.
Anyways that is a topic for another day.

Your question was " Biblical support of abortion" And I am saying never has the bible supported abortion.

Abortion to me is not a sin. Why give birth to a child you can't care forhuh
Why have sex and when you know you may conceive a child that you know cant care for?? smiley

If you are married, you don't have to worry about the means, because God always provide. And he makes conception possible and also provide for it.
If you are unmarried you have no business in having an act purposely meant for conception. smiley
Christianity EtcRe: Does The Bible Support Abortion? Numbers Chapter 5 by chineloSA(f): 2:16pm On Oct 25, 2015
raayah:
So a woman should forcefully have an abortion if she cheated?
Nope, remember those times there was no modern technology ( DNA tests ) to prove paternity. If a man doubted paternity, there was no other way to prove or disprove paternity.

So paternity was proven through a Godly Oath. If the pregnancy stayed after the Oath that meant God agreed that the woman was telling the truth. It the woman miscarried, that meant God disapprove and the woman was telling a lie.

Just like in some African cultures, they could only prove paternity through certain rituals. If a baby did not get sick after a ritual, that meant the baby was at the right place ( family ) but it the baby got sick after a ritual, that meant the baby was not theirs and the mother would have to tell the truth.

No where it was said it was aborted. It was a way of discouraging adultery and encouraging telling the truth.

Read from the beginning.

Read Through

Numbers 5 vs 20-23
.

Unfortunately for you madame you selected what you thought is the weakness of the verse. You did not read from the beginning of what transpired before it gets to verse 22-23.

Read the whole chapter please. If you are trying to confuse people may the Lord judge you. If you are questioning because you need understanding please read the whole Chapter. Here is Deutorocanonical version.

To me this was to prove the innocence of a woman suspected of adultery and carrying another mans child. They would make the woman swear under Oath, if the the woman was innocent, the pregnancy would stay and if the woman was guilty she would miscarry. Which is what some cultural villages do to prove innocence. This was in no way abortion.

Cases of Wives with Suspicious Husbands
11The Lord commanded Moses 12-14to give the Israelites the following instructions. It may happen that a man becomes suspicious that his wife is unfaithful to him and has defiled herself by having intercourse with another man. But the husband may not be certain, for his wife may have kept it secret — there was no witness, and she was not caught in the act. Or it may happen that a husband becomes suspicious of his wife, even though she has not been unfaithful. 15In either case the man shall take his wife to the priest. He shall also take the required offering of one kilogramme of barley flour, but he shall not pour any olive oil on it or put any incense on it, because it is an offering from a suspicious husband, made to bring the truth to light.
16The priest shall bring the woman forward and make her stand in front of the altar. 17He shall pour some holy water into a clay bowl and take some of the earth that is on the floor of the Tent of the Lord's presence and put it in the water to make it bitter. 18Then he shall loosen the woman's hair and put the offering of flour in her hands. In his hands the priest shall hold the bowl containing the bitter water that brings a curse. 19Then the priest shall make the woman agree to this oath spoken by the priest: “If you have not committed adultery, you will not be harmed by the curse that this water brings. 20But if you have committed adultery, 21may the Lord make your name a curse among your people. May he cause your genital organs to shrink and your stomach to swell up. 22May this water enter your stomach and cause it to swell up and your genital organs to shrink.”
The woman shall respond, “I agree; may the Lord do so.”
23Then the priest shall write this curse down and wash the writing off into the bowl of bitter water. 24Before he makes the woman drink the water, which may then cause her bitter pain, 25the priest shall take the offering of flour out of the woman's hands, hold it out in dedication to the Lord, and present it on the altar. 26Then he shall take a handful of it as a token offering and burn it on the altar. Finally, he shall make the woman drink the water. 27If she has committed adultery, the water will cause bitter pain; her stomach will swell up and her genital organs will shrink. Her name will become a curse among her people. 28But if she is innocent, she will not be harmed and will be able to bear children.
29-30This is the law in cases where a man is jealous and becomes suspicious that his wife has committed adultery. The woman shall be made to stand in front of the altar, and the priest shall perform this ritual. 31The husband shall be free of guilt, but the woman, if guilty, must suffer the consequences.
