LOL ![]() Erm, most white people know that there are "tribes" in Nigeria. most AAs don't. Whites who do usually identify the main three. I'm sure they coined the word "tribe" to describe ethnic groups in Africa in the first place so they definitely know that there are tribes. "Tribe" is so 1700, I have this imagination of a 'hut' in my head when whites ask you what tribe you belong to. ![]() |
MrCrackles:LOL ok, your English is something else. ![]() |
MrCrackles:huh? |
Haha, well I don't even remember the faces of the previous ones. I like Adaeze though, she has my sister's name and she's from my state ![]() |
They never called her the most beautiful. The key words are One of the most beautiful. |

It's funny that anyone will be claiming Fela. Sure, some people consider him a legend, like is typical of dead artistes e.g Tupac and co. And they are legends. But I've personally not been into his music, don't even know any titles - but then I'm not too much into old school artistes, even if they're Igbo. Or the way he led his life with the whole HIV thing. D'banj may be popular in London or wherever as there are more Yoruba folks there. Over here in the U.S. at naija parties, all I hear is P-square. And then old school African artistes. |
That's weird. haha oh well, I'm off to bed. 'night y'all. |
lol maybe you put in the wrong width and height. use the ones on the embed code. |
LMAO. . . goodluck. took me a while too. |
you copy the embed link. and when posting, you take only the url part for example the embed link below, you take only the part in bold. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dibCW0lqDqw&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dibCW0lqDqw&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> you click on the flash icon(it looks like a disk) and put the url inbetween the flash. Then change the width and height to the width and height it says on the embed link. That's it. It's hard to explain. |
LOL amaka, do you know how to post videos? |
@Gators, sucks ![]() I had "no air" for my sidekick and I bought it cuz the phone can't get free ringtones. Now, I changed my phone but can't find the websites. lmao @topic, jeun soke(??) - Wande Cole. . .LOL I like the sound of it. |
Hey, do y'all know any websites to get free ringtones? lol @topic, nothing, browsing. ![]() |
^^ So what's your point? you're disagreeing about how far their popularity goes now you're posting links, proving yourself wrong. I agree with Londoner. After 2face, P-square are next as regards to international recognition. |
LOL chei. |
They only stick when the person continues to display the same impressions you first found him/her with. I tend to judge people - who doesn't? - by things they do differently from me. But I also realize that one is capable of building friendship with people of differing opinions/views of life. If someone does something I'd consider "indecent" at first meeting, that person is "not innocent until proven innocent". Innocence to me, can mean many things of course. not particularly "innocent" as the word. Just my way of describing people who are deviant to my personal views. ![]() |
Yes, she is. |
Tropicana twister (orange strawberry banana burst flavor) |
Krayola2:I will be. ![]() chic2pimp:It was on TV yesterday, one of those local channels. why would you wanna watch it anyway? lol not a pretty sight. |
Hmph, the Igbo D'banj spoke in "Igwe" didn't sound very right either. And how many yoruba songs have P-square made exactly apart from "omoge mi"?. The rest are pidgin, or so I think. ![]() @topic, I don't know. I remember my french teacher who was white mention how she likes Youssou N'dour(sp), the senegalese singer. I think she knows Fela too. The few Fela songs I've listened to were mostly in pidgin anyway. I never bothered to find out if the teacher knew more African singers. I guess Fela is recognized because he was a well traveled man and considered a legend. Femi Kuti even performs at concerts here. I think Londoner is right about the rap music thing 'cause I personally don't buy rap albums but I listen to rap music a lot. I've always heard that whites buy more rap music, could be true considering their population is more than blacks anyway. |
Then he needs to be kept in the house till I can find a remedy in a few years ![]() |
LOL it's so crazy. maybe he should stop crying then, not like he can control it. Doctors don't even know how to help him. And I thought Africans do juju pass. ![]() |
I watched it on TV. . .scary!!! what the ![]() |
