Why would a married woman change her status to 'single' and the husband stabbing her too? buncha psychos.

@poster, just don't put anything as per relationship status, it's not by force. complicated coo contraceptive nee.

Well, it depends. I'd love to be a Doctor but let's be honest to ourselves; In as much as we might enjoy whatever career we decide to delve into, we also care about the paycheck, yes we do. Why spend many years studying medicine if not to be stanky rich in the long run? I do care about children, don't get me wrong, after all I plan to have some in the future so pediatrics would be beneficial in so many ways. But If I run into some big-time fortune, hmm I'd invest invest. . .I'll continue with medicine for sure but it'd be easier anyway with the money. I won't have to worry about work-study and all that stress, as well as loans, tuition, and other personal needs such as clothing(shoot!! I'll be the flyest on campus lol). Lest I forget, I won't have to actually finish school to build my parents a mansion. Yes!!! And one for myself too. grin But I think I'll continue with medicine, yeah? I think so. I guess I'll have to land this fortune to know really. haha

Basically, we do most things in life because they're necessary. who here likes school? I sure don't; Left to me, I'd shop till I drop, party till dawn, and vacation in every island possible but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do. cool

Hope4ever:
who is they?
Whatever kind of deluded people you talk to. The Americans I know care about marriage.
And no, Nigerian women are not forced to marry by 25.

Anyway, it's no use explaining to you, it shouldn't be my job seeing as you're 29. lipsrsealed

Hope4ever:
In America it is not by force that I have to get married.

In America no one looks down on you when you decide not to get married.

In America a woman can live a full life single and never ever get married.
LOL, Is that what they told you?  undecided

Hope4ever, aren't you supposed to be a female?
How you know whether Nigerian women are easy is beyond me. . .unless of course you're gay.
Aren't you supposed to be busy with the Nigerian men 'chasing you and professing their love for you' to worry about how easy Nigerian women are? haha multiple personalities on nairaland. won't be surprised if you're the same as kokoyam and the other AA fools above. lipsrsealed
