You start with the cube root. Maybe you're confused with the way I wrote it. I don't have the cube root sign on my computer. lol

So the cube root of 8 is 2 (2x2x2 = 8 ).
Cube = 3. So x^6 would be the 6th power divided by 3, which gives you 2, that is x^2. You're left with y^9, you do the same thing --> 9 divided by 3 is 3.

So, the answer is 2x^2y^3. Hope you get it. I'm bad at explaining stuff.
