I think all regions in Africa should be countries (Northland,Westland,Eastland,Southland,Midland,Madagascar) .All ethnic nations(Yoruba,Fang,Ashanti,Akwacross,Igbo,Khran,Hausa,etc) within each country should be states or city-states,depending on the size of land, and they should have autonomy and control of their resources ,economy and development. That's not too different from the current colonial mergers anyway , only this time it will be done on Africa's terms,not forcefully merged by colonial powers.
With a true federalism,each state or city-state would develop at it's pace . I believe the ideal system of Government for Africans is Social democracy . Educational system should be practical .
When I look at the current state of Africa ,all I see are a lost people wandering like beast in a never ending wilderness. The current system will never work .

This guy has turned an once quite house to a commotion hall, i say commotion becouse no any other word to define his headache causing behaviors during the day time, he has so much bruises gotten from all curiosity adventures, this guy can can strangle a cat, put press iron or heater in wall socket, place pot on fire, sweep the room with broom, jumb on the bed, on the tv and fan , wash his cloth, bath himself witth any available water dirty or colored, go under the jeep ,just name it and its there. The only way to stop him was thru the cane and i read somewhere in this forum that using cane will make him stubborn in near future .all me my wife want to know is Plss at what age hyper active child stop these behavior.

I keep saying, distribute the prepaid meter to every house in Nigeria and you will see miracle happening in the power sector. The moment prepaid meter get to every home in Nigeria then the electricity distribution and use become real, fair business for both the seller and the user. The more you sell, the more profit you make. The more you pay, the more you can use. Tell me who will not want to make more profit in business?
Aside the fact that those countries have effective power distribution, the citizen don't joke with government agencies over there. In one of the Africa countries(not mentioned above), if you fail to pay your electricity bill after 5days grace on the due date, you are bound to pay 10% charge on the actual bill. And the agency don't have to come to your house to remind you but everyone already know what to do. If you are supposed to pay on 30th but couldn't meet up on that day or before 5th of the following month, when you are ready to pay, you just calculate the 10% , add it to the actual bill and pay.
A Nigerian in such situation will just abandon the thought of paying both the actual bill and the charges.
A lot of Nigerian will borrow credit from mtn,glo, or 9mobile, after using the credit to meet their urgent need, they throw the Sim card inside the nearest gutter and buy another Sim.

There was a lot of intimidation in my polling unit against non Yorubas (Igbos, Akwa Ibomites /Calabar), they didn't want any non Yoruba to vote until the army showed up before normalcy was restored. I guess when you know your candidates are flawed, you resort to intimidation. Nigeria isn't one and we need to stop pretending we are. Democracy has caused deeper division in the country.
