that is my favorite part of the flight.

painfully enough, that is the way things are in the fucking EU states.

I was in Holland on a visit so went across to visit some ladies. We went out to have a drink in some corner cafe during the day, say about 3:45 pm. When we were don drinking I decided to walk back to my hotel and had to cross a small road to the other side of the walk way home. This was in Hague.

I got to the traffic light and hot the buzzer and was waiting for green light to walk across. Suddenly I say about 2 white guys walk past me and through the lights while still red although there was no oncoming vehicle, then I decided to go across too, this was about 6pm now. Immediately I crossed the cops pulled up and started asking me all sort of questions that never made sense meanwhile the other guys were still with sight and were walking on the side walk.

I did not response and was still going when one of the pulled his gun on me and I got furious. They asked for my passport, I told them I dont have, they asked me where I was staying at and I told them, they asked for an ID and I gave them my Texas drivers license and at the point I was speaking with some strong texas accent.

They gave me back my drivers license and they left.

The truth is as long as you are black they will always want to Bleep with you.

In 2008 I played and won the US visa lottery, but I used a supposed very good friend's address and when the winning notification was mailed to him, this my very good friend hid it and never told me.
The reason he did that until today remains a mystery up until this moment.
But God showed his grace on me when I went to apply for visa for my family to go on vacation to the US, during the interview session with the consular officer, he asked if I played the visa lottery the year before and I answered yes after which I asked him if I won because I did not get any notification but he declined to answer me.
He refused my family the visa, so I looked for the address of the visa lottery office in Kentucky and I sent them a mail and like they say the rest is history.
they sent me the soft copies of the winning notification only for me to find out that the mailing address I used is that my friend and when I called him he said he did not see it.

But later admitted that he saw it but misplaced it.

My people today my family and I are happy settled in the US as US citizens.
that is one of my many miracles.

There you go with the typical Nigerian response that God will not let us lose our jobs, but you just read it clearly that losing your job sometimes do not have anything to do with you. Companies are business that are just concerned about profit so once the profit drops the easiest thing for them to do is to cut back on jobs.
Please lets face reality and better learn how to deal with things like this because I have even seen the brightest staff in certain cases let go.
