sonofakin:Sincerely, I don't understand your comment, kindly make me understand. |
Event14:Alright, i know why i asked if the money is actually enough because your I20 will indicate too. Okay, someone already suggested you write your school for a new I20. Since yours is over 30 days, check if the application was saved on your PC, because what you need to do is retrieve the saved application and reupload it back by clicking on upload an application, but you need to follow the correct steps before getting to upload an application box. If you know the folder where you saved your application, then click on upload data. Effect your new changes, don't forget to save and submit but try and review first before submitting. A new bar code and confirmation will be given to you. If you try these and nothing shows up, have it in mind that you didn't save your initial application and this will cause you to fill in a fresh DS160 form. Don't forget to come along with the old and new one for your interview. If the VO demands for the old one, present it or you can just present the two together indicating the old and new. I hope this helps. |
Lifeisforliving:Is your office or your organization sponsoring you? If no, then you have no business with your office |
Event14:Alright, i know why i asked if the money is actually enough because your I20 will indicate too. Before i continue, did your school actually indicate the Sponsor's name on your I20 or just 'family'? It's important to know this. If you truly want to make some changes, if yiur application was submitted less than 30 days ago, you may log on to their site and "retrieve an application." Open the retrieve app and input the initial ID num, remember your security question and proceed correctly and carefully. After that, submit the application and you'll automatically have a new Confirmation num and the bar code, then print. But in a case where it's above 30 days and eventually, the application was saved on your PC, then it's going to be another easier step because what you need to do is retrieve the saved application and reupload it back by clicking on "upload an application", but you need to follow the correct steps before getting to "upload an application" box. If you know the folder where you saved your app, then click on "upload data". Effect your new changes (don't forget to save) and submit (try and review first before submitting). A new bar code and confirmation will be given. If you try these and nothing shows up, have it in mind that you didn't save your initial application and this'll cause you to fill in a fresh DS160 form. NOTE: Don't forget to come along with the old and new one for your interview. If the VO demands for the old one, present it or you can just present the two together indicating the old and new |
Event14:Written note may further complicate issues. Do you bear the same surname with your Uncle? Secondly, can your Dad call his account officer, telling him/her to issue you the SOA on his behalf. This last option is safer and better because every SOA bears the name of the Sponsor and if this doesn't match with what you have on your DS160, this 'may' not really go well. And you can't say you have two sponsors. |
Baphil:Dropbox is no longer available. Every renewal demands physical presence |
Goodluck to everyone having their Interviews tomorrow. |
Lethhhgooo:It was rescheduled And did you check your spam messages? |
Ferdinand234:4 working days or weekend included? |
omofolajomi:Your MRV is still valid. Fill in another form as stated by abone2 but carefully ensure that the numbers are correct. Don't make a new payment. You can only do that when an emergency appointment is denied and want to schedule a close date |
Baphil:$110 Yes, for approved visas Once your visa is approved by the VO, you'll be directed to make the payment inside the same hall. |
omofolajomi:Okay. You need to relax and keep checking for dates. It'll appear soon and once it appears, you can go ahead and schedule. |
Who's in search of a fully funded graduate Programs and Full Funding Awards? |
IrishCrown:Perfect. Congrats in advance |
Lethhhgooo:That means you got a mail telling you that the first application was denied? |
Lethhhgooo:What happened to the first fee? |
Alexanderfrost:Yes, same. They can be professionals but it doesn't come with an advantage. Having a wife and kid: No, it's not; Yes, it is. This depends on the VO engaging you. This also depends on what your wife does, how old your child is and what you do for a living, the person sponsoring you as well. Texas Tech. Uni: hopefully, you'll find someone here. |
Grace1success:Keep checking but if you can't keep checking, book the appointment and apply for emergency appointment |
BGodsonMay:What's written on her I20 form? Talking about the Sponsor and total money |
omofolajomi:You have been denied getting an emergency date or? I believe you must have paid your visa fee already. If yes, you need to fill in the DS160 form, book any appointment date you see on your screen. After that, go ahead and fill in the emergency request form, ensure you upload the most relevant documents as an evidence and input the reason why you need an emergency appointment. After submitting your request, you'll get an email from the Consulate (the email may come in immediately or after some hours, depending). This email will confirm if your request is approved or denied. I hope it's approved though but if not, you have to stick to the initial date or maybe you can choose to pay for another MRV fee. |
IrishCrown:Yes, you need to update your DS160 form, then print out the new appointment confirmation letter which should show Abuja as the new location. The new location must reflect. You picked Jan 4th as your intended arrival date: When did your school tell you to report? If it's not on the 4th or 8th, you have no reason to worry as long as you tell the VO about not being able to get a close date before 4th Jan(only when asked). |
Aquilapriscilla:Someone already made a point. |
babes123:Have you been cleared? Let me add my input and hopefully, wait for others to add theirs too. First of all, Congrats on your admission. You can obtain a visa before the given start date by your school and you know orientation is always compulsory. I don't know if you've seen your I20 form yet, signed form. If you have not, you can't proceed with booking. If you have, you can proceed with booking by making your visa payment first, book an appointment. You may actually be lucky to see a date in Dec (it happens) but it you get a date that doesn't fit in, then you need to go for emergency appointment. If it's approved (depending on the available but close date), all glory to God. Before going for your interview, ensure you pay your SEVIS fee 72 hrs before appointment date. How prepared you can be begins with you accessing, surfing, go through some transcripts here. Get acquainted with the kind and nature of VO's questions - Know the basic and fundamental stuffs about your course choice, why you chose it, Infact many other things you need to know - Know how to build your confidence garnished with your eloquence and boldness. Okay, kindly go through the transcripts. These transcripts are personal but you'd get so many basic stuffs you'd be needing. Get your documents ready and let God be the first. If you chose to defer: You don't chose to defer without informing your school about the circumstances. Hear from them first, know the terms and conditions before executing your plans, especially when it comes to this scholarship. Hope the scholarship is indicated in your I20(if you've received it already)? And what's the duration of your study? How long will it take? If you have one year total fee, who's gonna provide the rest and how? Being self-sponsored doesn't really make much difference - it's just same as having a sponsor. I don't know about the policy of your school though, but from the VO may think you can't provide for yourself after the first year. The total amount there should show that the money can pay your tuition and sustain you all through your program. Infact, your I20 is likely going to show the exact scholarship amount and your total deficit should be good. Let me stop here and allow others to contribute. |
Juwon21:Hello Juwon, Kindly explain further pls. |
wahabaa:On his behalf, please kindly proceed with the explanation. I want to know. |
Phori:Wait until 24hrs and see what happens |
Dikewilliams:Possible, but not advisable. What happened to Personal account? |

Phori:But you've not booked an appointment before? |
Talisha2018:Okay. I don't know if you need schools that are less expensive. If yes, I'd suggest you check out schools in Minnesota - they're relatively affordable. Tulane University application fee is free until 30th Dec. You 'may' not really find schools with full funding when it comes to undergraduate studies but you can get a scholarship, though not full and it has its own requirement as well. And about the test, it actually depends on some schools - some will waive the tests and some will not, so it actually depends. I know some schools that do not require any sort of English Proficiency test When you find school without a test, ensure you remind them when they receive your application/documents or when they're about to send the I20 form. This is to ensure also that they indicate "test waiver" in your son's I20 form. |
Phori:For the day? |
Rabato:Congrats in advance. A New Year good news is on the way |
