Lots of traffic on that website....the recent/latest ad posted already has 805 views.....Guess guys over there are really vigilant about accomodation in sernia...I would advice any winter Lambton student here to start watching out for accomodation.....cuz its really tussle getting accomodation there....

Its study and work not work and study my broda....if u intend going to canada on a student visa den there is limit to wat u can do which was why i posted d 20hr and 40hr thingy after 1yr or 2yrs of study then u are eligible to apply for work permit in respect to ur course duration e.g if u study a 1yr course u get 1yr work permit,if 2yrs u get 3yrs work permit..after that u can then apply for ur permanent residence....however if u have vast work experience here in naija,u can opt for ur permanent residence visa straight up through federal skill worker program or through pronvincial nominee program..check www.cic.gc.ca for more info....the simple point is with d limit to student visa and little work time i doubt if the earnings can cover the tuition cost except on summer were u have d free will to work 24hrs perday.....ur agent is probably talking abt d federal skill work program/provincial nominee program...

trodon: I greet the house. Am not new here but haven't been coming online. This dread gave me a lot of hope when i applied for my study permit in 2011. The wait was almost 5 months and i must have fainted while waiting but eventually my application was approved. So i know what it feels like to wait. But be of good courage guys, nothing good comes easy. I really wonder why it takes them so long to process these applications. In my own case nothing was verified, they only called my bank and that was it. All i had in my bank account then was 1.5 million Naira though my school fees was paid in full and accommodation was partly paid as well. The only thing that kept me going throughout that period was this thread. I posted in part 1 and 2. Out of boredom, i read part 1 from the beginning and there was this interesting story of a guy called Adewale. His case was really interesting and i was strengthened by his courage. So keep on posting, keep strengthening one another and i wish you all success in your applications. Feel free to ask if you have a question and how things are here. if i don't have the right answer, i can help you find out. Una welldone!

Hmmm!! 500k wont be enough sir....except if u'r referring to $500k...den no yawa...living expenses in canny alone should be budgeted at $10,000 per year,tuition fee varies with course...but bugdet at least $20,000 for total tuition alone...u can be lucky to get a funding option from the sch if ur grades high pass petrol price...to study in canny no b garri oo...but its all worth it at d end cuz job opportunities yapa gan there....

E G. some institutions ask for a particular grade in a subject, writing samples, A competitive statement of intent, GRE, GMAT (with specified grades) etc.
some won't even ask for reference letter but a reference form to be completed by your referee, sealed and singed across the seal.. or referee's email and they'll send the form them self to your referee.

Everything you need to be admitted is ur undergraduate University transcript and sometimes some universities ask for Notarize WAEC cert....you also need kudi,ego,owo for the application fee,two or three reference letter from a prof or doctor in ur uni,you do not need toefl...

Bro you can apply yourself...you dont need an agent....since you said you're not planning january then you have time to explore more info to your advantage....if you have a cgpa of 3.5 and above without any work experience you will definitely get an admission into university...bone college bro, i was only thinking you needed an admission asap...if your cgpa is below 3.5 then you can apply for a postgraduate diploma/cert degree in one of the approved college...you can later further ur masters degree if you so wish...but be rest assureed that a college degree would also get you a well paid job in canny....check out these universities university of Saskatchewan,university of calgary,university of ottawa,lakehead university,memorial university of newfoundland,prince edward university,university of winnipeg,e.t.c and ofcourse if your cgpa high gan!! you can check university of toronto,university of manitoba,Mgrill university.You can be lucky to get funding in any of the above listed universities....However if your mind no carry university then a college will always be ur friend anytime anyday...for colleges check this link www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp if you have any further questions their are tonnes of expert here to assist you........

While on study in canada you are only allowed to work on campus for 20 hours per week pere!! for the first 6month of resumption...after that you can then apply for off campus work permit which allows you to work for 40hours per week pere!!...but during summer you can work as many hours as you like.....check www.cic.gc.ca for more info....bros this ya agent na wa ooo!!...anyway nairaland agent get ur time full time....If you are planning winter(January) session then i will advice you apply to a college for quick admission to apply for ur visa...you can as well apply for a university admission underground which takes longer time to get admission....when you get to canny you can just switch instituition sharpally......

Sorry again 4 d delay not denial....pls how did u package ur 1st application?...is it same as d 2nd?...just wana clarify sumtin to avoid inconsitencies in ur app...u mite have used a different sponsor which mite have affected the 2nd app and mite likely affect d third....not 2 make it luk lyk u'r merging sponsor upon sponsor..cdhc has ur file so they can always browse tru ur previous app..i would advice u be d main sponsor dis time to make a clean slate 2 ur app... I rest ur case to more knowldgeable ogas in d house...but in my own opinion..u'r pretty gud to go as a self sponsor...do u have a strong home tie like landed property,wifey/kids...if ur wife is gainfully employ u can also include her employment stuffs in ur app to let cdhc knw dat she and d kids will b fine while u'r away...ur company too is pretty much a gud home tie...if u wana apply next time pls do not involve d canny link into ur app...wait 4 cdhc to instruct u further for accomodation....

this sponship not credibe thingy is becoming alarming...is it that they pack sum application into groups and dash dem sponsorship not credible ni....even sum1 using dad as sponsor..na wa oo.....anyway did u attach an affidavit and sponsorship letter drafted by ur family friend that he/she would take care of accomodation?...and did u attach to ur app a letter from ur employer?...i tink u should address d issue of sponsorship.....drafting a good affidavit of support and a strong letter from sponsor stating why he/she wants to sponsor you cuz cdhc believes ur sponsor 2 get im own pikin...if he uses that kinda money in the account to sponsor a family friend how would d pikin gangan survive....so please address that and u'r good to refire...

I see there has been a lot of traffic since morning. let me start by congratulating all those who were issued their TRV's today. Oga federal and Kjbobo. God is doing it small small. We shall all get there. I also wish to encourage those who have been denied . I want to tell them to see it as a delay from God and not CDHC. They are just his instruments. Go back, repackage and re-fire. Ask God for wisdom and this time around, try not to be so silent on the forum (i.e for the silent followers). If you have questions, come out here and ask. You can hardly go wrong with the level of expertise and experience on here. You shall be successful in your next attempt.

On my trip to the CDHC this morning, I did the usual inquiry form and submitted and after a while, I got a call from a sexy voice saying I should be patient that my passport is still being processed.

Submitted on May 2 via VFS,
Medical call : 19th July ,
Medics Done :25th July ,
Resubmitted passport : 26th July.

I am also in touch with others who did medicals on the same day. Most are still yet to get a reply. On or two have gotten. Summary for me is that I have decided to take the final dose (hopefully ) of chill pill till next week. I have also been directed by my spirit to book flights and schedule for payment of fees and accommodation with my brodas smile13 and dictaplpha who are headed in the same direction as i hope to . I am doing all this by faith and I believe my TRV would come on or before Tuesday. God has brought me this far, he wouldn't leave me or you.

Good Luck to all the fall applicants and medical awaitees. Also congrats to my list curator earthgreeners whose spirit since part 3 has been outstanding. My other ogas dem, Siga, Fhemmy, gboyegaD, Onye Oma, Huzzie, and the other ogas i might have omitted , una too much i swear! . My new ChrigO 2.0 *limited edition*, i hail oh. God would surely answer your prayers.

HOW SOON CAN ONE START TO TRACK ON VFS WEBSITE AFTER SUBMISSION?

Intially Wen my application was submitted on july 30, i tracked dat day but got noting in there database,which means application hasnt gotten to cdhc...i tracked d nextday and it reflected on there database that my app is being processed...

I don't want say much till monday when I get to VSF.
Meanwhile, this morning as I was reading my bible I issued words in spirit, commanding that I must get that today. I believed it...each time I looked at time, I get worried till I heard "gbim" I checked d email, it was from cic.
God, You are truly the Most High! I respect!
