femianiyi: I've been on a close tab with maple eversince my application clocked two months, trust me, they've been going to embassy to solicit for thr candidates but d bottom line is that "embassy confirmed application is still under processing". I was aviced to holdon until they respond.Worse case scenerio is to defer admission but new start date for my program is fall 2013 and not winter, thats my plight. Believing God for a last minute miracle

dis is really sad...just 1 start date...so sori bro...God is vigilant....i would advice any1 in d house planing to submit early or late to biko go d online route.....its tested and trusted....

femianiyi: Congratulations bros, wish u a suceessful stay in toronto. I also applied @ seneca for PG fall 2013, my application was submitted 9th may, 2013 through maple education consult. Eversince, the response is my application is still under processing, and i cant storm the embassy myself cos i applied through a travel consultant. It is apparently i cant make it down this fall again cos i've not been called for medicals yet... is there still hope, honestly im worried for not even heard anything from them.

Now am begining to see clearly the disadvantage of using an agent...so sad mehn!!!...since u cant storm embassy when last did u storm ur agent?.....God aint sleeping....

pls is that the only thing missing?...if u got the offer letter through email then just go print anoda one...but if u got d offer letter tru courier then tell the sch to send u an electronic copy for u to print anoda one....its not really an issue oga mi....or u can also hold the photocopy wit u and present at d port of entry...dey wont kill u cuz u aint holding original na!!......

you cant convert a visit visa to student visa.....are u in the USA? And wats ur status there?...if u got a study visa status were ever u are den u can apply for ur canada study visa with less processing time there...but if not den u go cum naija here cum apply ni oo....i hope with dis piece of info and d infos my ogas in d house go gv u... Am sure u will sleep non stop for 24 hours ......

1.Uni admission letter 2.Original Waec result(submitted a photocopy with a scratch card.the card was scratched)3.original school transcripts 4.Original birth certificate
Sponsors Docs
1.Payslips for 4months 2.Bank statement with closing bal of 6.5m 3.Tax clearance 4. Photocopy of his id card 5.Affidavit of support(cdhc did not return this one) 6.A few deeds 7. Valuation of some of his properties 8.A building plan 9. Letter from employer(first letter stated that he works with them,his job position then annual income and the other had a list of all his dependents) 9.Tuition receipt(i paid 70% first, about 2weeks after meds Cdhc asked that I should pay the balance).

Made photocopies of all the docs i submitted and notarized all of them.
Visa was issued on the 17th but i got it yesterday.

Prophet Onye...sorri I meant to say Oga Onye Oma, help me appease the holy spirits to waive the only red-flag in my application.

I applied for study permit (2011) with PG Dip in Business Mgt (i.e Canadore College)but got denied bcoz of very trivial issue (basically unpresented CAC documents). However, owing to the high rate of tuition and stringent policy of canadaore college I decided to opt for PG Dip in Business Management at Mohawk college, though, I got the admission but decided not to use it bcoz within this year Mohawk had increased tuition which I think I might not be able to contain.

Concurrently, I applied for keyano College 2 years Business Mgt Diploma (UG), thus, I submitted my study visa with keyano admission because its very affordable for me. Although, a friend did same in 2011 with HND credentials and he is already on PR overthere in winninpeg now.

I had HND Accounting (2002) and have been working as accountant since then, but currently working as Business manager since 2011 reason why I choose Business Mgt to boost my basic knowledge in Business Administration. Although, I did a good SOP to butress my point, but the fear is still there....however, Oga Siga & I had looked into this before my final submission sha....How do you see this?

Oga tolyem u've got no problem....ur SOP should b ur venum on d VO's....i have seen sum1 on dis thread who said the only thin making sense in his application was his SOP alone....he got his visa at d end....Just put God 1st and am sure u will get d visa.....ur profile seems captivating..just give a very good point on why u'r opting for an Undergraduate course which is lower to an HND degree....my own Opinion.......

pack d required scanned docx into microsoft word...you can then save as pdf from there...u will b surprised how shrinked d size would be....pls note that by default "save as pdf " option doesnt cu wit ur microsoft word..u have to download the software to embedd into ur microsoft word....to do dat, just type dis key word on google search engine "download save as pdf software on microsoft word"......if u got further questions throw it da air and my ogas in d house go scarta am.....

Some agents only cover dem selfs with the word agents without having the appropiate license by d canadian embassy...they might submit ur application without the use of representative form which u can also do urself and if u go to make an inquiry, cdhc will have d mind frame that its u dey are dealing wit....but if ur agent submitted with d form then i am nt sure if cdhc would wana respond to u cuz they believe ur agent is the interface they are dealing wit.....I stand to b corrected on this....

From next week Monday September 2nd, I would change the heading of our TEAM WINTER list to MEDICAL HOPEFUL list. The list will contain the details of only those that have submitted; name, date of submission and mode of submission. If you have submitted and haven't indicated please do.


The essence of this list is to monitor the pace of our application, if your faith doesn't permit you to disclose anything about your application no problem we are still one in the house.
May God see us through in all our endeavors.

Dis is kinda complicated...ur high sch closed down?....anyways hope is not lost yet....i tink ur waec cert plus ur other professional cert will get u an admission into brandon uni....u no get case with the university interms of years of gap explanation...na embassy u get case with....since ur target is sept 2014 den u've got no problem on ur explanation to embassy,all u need do 4 now is go tru a little eyes frying mechanism by reading this travel canada thread from part 1 - 4 if u cant den u can read part 3 - 4 alone ....am sure u will get the whole picture of what am trying to say....

deebla: I was at CDHC yesterday... I filled their form and within 2 hours, I was called over the phone that my medical result has not be gotten by then.

Then I headed straight to Children practice. Lo and behold, those pple said my x-ray result was not uploaded on the e-medical portal due to software error. I weak instantly. The doctors sha said they will ensure its uploaded today or latest tomorrow on the e-medical portal.

Imagine if I I had not gone there, I would jst be checking mails and tracking for nothing... Please guys, follow up your stuff for any itch o, if U are experiencing delay.

I sent them a mail and they gave me the generic 4-6 months ish. The part I don't understand is how they will leave may applicants file untouched, and move to june. What do u guyz suggest I do. Send them another mail.? Call them.? Go to lag.? Do they even have number someone can reach them with.? Abeg make una try reason my matter, before I go join jehova sharp sharp church as oga chrigo bin suggest.

I Like ur spirit bro....i knw God is up to sum tin 4 ur sake....for now i can only confirm to u dat colleges dont grant entry scholarship but universities does....there is notin bad in trying out the uni's scholarship....but i would strictly advice u also look out for other country's scholarship e.g finland,norway,etc....its very easy to get their scholarship than canada's....i pray God guides ur step.....

1. my sister is thinking of deferring her admission to sept of 2014 because she will not be able to meet up with classes and registration. but her visa application is already in progress. pls what should we do. should she just get the visa and travel and stay in canada till next september. or wait in nigeria till its close to classes before she travels.
