dalaman: And the ancient Jews weren't lusting after power abi? After all they claimed Yahweh placed them his followers above all others and referred to them as his chosen people. It seems to reward one's loyalty to Yahweh rather than acknowledge humanity's worth. What more can be more lust full than that? you cannot compare ancient times with modern times! their cause was legitimate under the prevailing circumstances |

Love Machine: A very troublesome customer who had once walked away with my company's money after making purchase came to make another purchases again at my workplace few days ago.He gave me two hot slap simply because I demanded for payment before service.I retaliated by giving him a blow in his mouth. And the management queried me for retaliating. They said customers are always right.Dont I,as a staff have right too?My grievance with all this employers is that when a customer walk away with their money, the employer will not say the customer is right for running away with payment. They will quickly deduct the money from the staff salary at the end of the month. But,when a staff argue with a customer who refuse to pay after service, they will say customers are always right. They can even fine such staff.Well,i have resign sha. you were very wrong! you should not have assaulted the customer in retaliation. The customer is NOT always right, but you should NEVER disrespect, victimise or assault your customers. Treat the customer as if they are right |

LoJ: But the same God that said thou shall not kill, asked the people of israel to kill entire tribes, and to f+ck their virgin girls. Or when the people of israel were killing with weapons, was it God killing himself? And when they were beating the puna, was God enjoying it? the Israelites were carrying out a divine mandate at that particular point on history! the people of Canaan were enemies of God, so he uprooted them from their land using the Israelites as his whip to inflict punishment. As for the Puna, I have no idea |

LoJ: So would you take that as a reasonable response from a muslim? If a Muslim claims that God commanded him to kill, is it okay for you? After all God can't be questioned, and he is above mundane principles. which God are you talking about?! The God that I speak of gave the commandment - THOU SHALL NOT KILL! besides, God commanding you to kill, and God carrying out the act killing himself are two different things my brother! |

milkymesh: In recent times, I am having a second thought on things I read and believed in the bible.
I have never read a place in the bible where the devil killed someone without Gods permission. 1. He killed Jobs ten sons with God's permission. Why did some innocent young guys just die because two powerful being placed a bet. Why place bet with peoples life?
2. God killed first born of Egypt, even animals where not spared. Even first born infants, babies, and children where murdered. Why visit adult sins on innocent children. Imagine sentencing a man child to dead because his father is an armed robber. is that just.
3. Book haram who kill people because they don't believe in their brand of Islam is branded as terrorist. Now God told the Israelite to killed the Canaanites because they belong to another religion. A whole tribe was murdered in many cases. What do we call that in modern times. Imagine if all Igbo's are murdered because they are not Muslim. What do we call that in modern times.
4. Elijah(or is it Elisha?) ordered a bear to kill some little boys because they where making jest of him. Why not simply correct them. Is killing them a just punishment for making jest of someone? As a little school boy, I made caricature of some disabled people then and I am sure most of us did or still do that. Should the state make such a capital offence, will you support it?
I can go on and on. I am beginning to doubt many stories in the bible. What are your views? when God kills, it is not murder!!! the law was made for Humans to follow and not for God follow. he is above the mundane principles that guide men |

Billyonaire: It might fragment your mind, I do not want to be the one who made someone go mad. Atheists will easily discover God, after becoming pantheists if they allow their minds to lead them, but for the so called Theist, you are all stationery and may likely not meet the Almighty Creator.
