hello  i dont have to join issues as regards this but if u really must know why the port in lagos and especially the New one in lekki will be the killer of all seaports in west africa .is because of the nature of the shore .it is the  only place to site an ultra deep ports in nigeria and most of west west africa.this translate to the fact that most of the ships you see now in couple of years will give way to this new mega ship that will consume less feul and have more carrying capacity  and only lekki will be able to  handle them. a situation will arise were the smaller ships will only be use for smaller proposede ports such calabar ,ph,maybe Lokoja:
