Politics › Re: An Igbo Will Make A Better President Compared To Yoruba And Hausa. by chrisblack: 1:39pm On Aug 17, 2015 |
IgboGoat: I believe an Igbo man will make a better leader for this country when compared to their Yoruba and Hausa Fulani counterpart.
An Igbo man attaining such position will be purely on merit and there will be less external influence and distractions. Also owing to the natural entrepreneurial and Management skills that God blessed the Igbos with (which is lacking to an extent in other groups), the Igbo man will be able to take calculated risks and wont be afraid of any person or group of persons when making decisions that will move the nation forward.
Before the civil war when the Igbos were virtually in charge of almost all sectors in the Nigeria, with the likes of Kenneth Dike a renowned educationist as the first indigenous VC of a Nigerian University, and other prominent Igbo in the helms of affairs of the public institutions. Nigeria was seen as the next best thing to happen to the world.
After the war, Awo with his nepotistic tendencies and his Northern cohort eventually turned this Nation to almost a curse to humanity. Now anywhere in the world where there are Nigerians Bad news, Yorubas specializing in fraud and human rituals, Igbos in drugs and Hausas in Terrorrism.
But all this can change if an Igbo man can be given a chance to pilot the affairs of this country. God himself will be happy about it and those changes we are craving for will effortlessly materialize.
I am not writing this for you to start criticizing, I want you to just read, reason and get some brain because Nigeria's solution lies in the hands of an Igbo Man.

Politics › Re: Prove You Are Not Being Influenced – Igbo Leaders Tell Buhari by chrisblack: 12:37am On Aug 17, 2015 |
wapSmart: By Clifford Ndujihe
IGBO Leaders on the banner of the Igbo Leaders of Thought (ILT), yesterday, insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari is being influenced by some former leaders in his anti-graft crusade and challenged him to prove otherwise by waging a holistic war against graft.
Responding to a paper by the ILT written by Professor Ben Nwabueze (SAN) that instead of limiting his searchlight to Dr Goodluck Jonathan administration, Buhari should also probe the General Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Olusegun Obasanjo and Umaru Musa Yar’Adua regimes and that he was being influenced by some of these leaders, the President said he could not be tele-guided by anybody.
Speaking through Mallam Shehu Garba, his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, President Buhari said he is not being tele-guided by anybody and that he would not a deaf ear to the looting of public treasury and crude oil theft. He also said he would not stop the anti-corruption agencies from doing their work.
However, the ILT in a statement by its Deputy Secretary, Evangelist Elliot Uko, yesterday, said that Mallam Shehu avoided the real points in his response. His words: ”The anti corruption war and probe in order to recover our stolen common wealth is not only needful, but commendable. Nigerians know that the only pathway to restoring sanity, probity and accountability to governance in our much battered and so much abused nation is to carry out the exercise in a holistic manner without granting a clean bill of health on the 1999-2007 regime or any other regime since returning to civil rule in 1999.
” The insinuation that Mr. President is scared of probing the 1999-2007 is a by-product of the statement from the presidency that only the Jonathan regime is targeted for probe. Had the presidency announced that sordid affairs located within the 1999-2007 regime will also be looked into, Nigerians will not have formed the opinion that ex president Obasanjo is not only above the law, but that his larger than life image hovering over the Buhari presidency will obviously make it extremely difficult if not out-rightly impossible for president Buhari to be objective, unbiased and upright especially in the probe of corruption in our polity.
”Nigerians are wondering why the monumental fraud and sleaze that occurred between 1999-2007 is about to be swept under the carpet while our government’s only area of interest begins some where after 2009. Truth is bitter, and this truth is also obvious to all Nigerians over 20 years of age; that the 1999-2007 PDP led government laid the foundation for all the other regimes after it. Nigerians know that the sleaze under that regime stink to high heavens. Any fight against corruption and probe and recovery of stolen funds that exempts the 1999-2007 regime is tainted, selective, and a confirmation of the large influence of the “invisible government” in our polity.
”The Igbo Leaders of Thought did not say that president Buhari is teleguided. The Igbo Leaders of Thought identified the over-bearing influence, powers and connections of past heads of state who played very key roles in the emergence of President Buhari in March this year and wondered how he expects Nigerians to believe him when his aides point at “distraction” as the only reason he is avoiding probing the 1999-2007 POP government.
”Nobody believes that. Everybody knows that the rat cannot probe the cat. Some past Leaders’ shadows are hovering over president Buhari. He is clearly constrained by certain factors.
”This factors will certainly affect the credibility of the probe and recovery exercise if it is only targeted at the last regime. The issues raised by the Igbo Leaders of Thought represents the thought and views of millions of Nigerians who share the opinion that the only way sanity would be restored in our country is to make the exercise a holistic, unbiased and all-inclusive one. The very point Alhaji Garba Shehu cleverly avoided in his response. Nobody said Buhari is teleguided.
Nigerians merely want the probe and recovery of stolen funds to date back to 1999. That is the only way Nigerians, the international community and indeed future generations will agree the exercise is not a witch -hunt.”

This includes Dangote as well trillions were basically given to MTN, Dangote and others through a tax shelter. Why do you think Dangote brags of not going out of Nigeria. Why do you think 200 Chinese companies came here in 2014 only?
Feel free to ask away each one teach one I am off today so I have time I asked a simple question .why give out money immediately after purchase of the various power plants and disco.the catch was they would come with their own money that was the agreement.why did the government immediately decided to give them loans.the truth is they used Nigeria's money to buy over our commonwealth. They are now using our money to run it.we all knew how much was raked in by the government during the sale of gsm licenses. They where only given 4 years exclusive rights.this was why etisalat was allowed to get into the market.mind you cover never gave mtn 1 kobo.tell me do you know how Nigeria make from the sale of the genco's and disco's. Barcanista
Please they are back to give your people bad name ooo. They now say Buhari is more Niger Delta than Jonathan. Just because they got a cheap LovePeddler in the pix below and tagged it a Niger Deltan. If this girl is truely a Niger Deltan, why is she hiding her face? Is she not really proud of Buhari? The latest info is that the background is a restaurant in nasarrawa state. Just imagine APC and Propaganda. They are like banana and groundnut. I promised the APC government that I shall always be there to counter their lies and propaganda.
There was a thread I was advising you to be more partisan in your write ups. Please, don't criticize Buhari constructively as someone advised you. Criticize him destructively. If you really think the average Fulani man has your people at heart, then you need to be more realistic. These people brought Jonathan down. Dig deep and bring Buhari down too. If you think Nigeria will get better under buhari, then you are deluded. They are just their yo suck up our oil and feed the millions they are fathering up north. They knew their oil licences was expiring this year. Thats why they fought Jonathan.
Barcanista be careful oo. If you think am lying, ask yourself this salient questions;
(1) Why has Buhari failed to publicly declare his assets as he promised?
(2) Who has been documenting oil sales in this country? No oil minister remember?
(3) Why have they changed the name of the office of the first lady to the office of the wife of the president (SCAM)
(3) Which secretary has been documenting the movements of the president who represents Nigeria?
(4) Why has Obasanjo, Rochas, Tinubu, Fashola, Danjuma, Amaechi not been arrested?
(5) Are you aware that Buhari plans to head the oil ministry again? President and oil minister? To allocate more oil blocks to his Northern brothers?
THE FACT IS THAT I WILL NEVER BE DECEIVED BY THIS CHANGE MANTRA...... JUST LIKE ROCHAS FAILED TO DECEIVE ME. I HAVE CRITISCIZED ROCHAS FROM DAY ONE EVEN BEFORE HE BECAME GOVERNOR BECAUSE I KNEW HE WAS A SCAM. I WILL DO SO TO BUHARI TILL HE LEAVES THAT OFFICE BECAUSE AM WARE THAT NOTHING GOOD CAN COME FROM HIM.... MY REASON IS VERY SIMPLE: HE IS A TRIBAL BIGOT AND NOT A TRUE DEMOCRAT AS THE APC DEMONS PAINTED HIM! see how stupid you are.Her looking at the shirt is just natural .its simple reflex. Politics › Re: "Before They Tarnish Reverend Father Matthew Hassan Kukah"- A Rejoinder. by chrisblack: 4:39pm On Aug 16, 2015 |
omenka: Good afternoon.
Much as I don't fancy responding to bare-faced lies and overt distortion of facts, it has become absolutely necessary to every once in a while set records straight for posterity because it is said that evil thrives only when good men remain silent.
First off, Reverend Kukah said what he said in plain english and didn't need no one to translate or interpret his message, least of all, the op of the thread being referenced here. It is such a pity some people are totally given to spreading unadulterated falsehood regardless of its effect, just as long as like minds like themselves endorse such inordinate pursuits.
First, the op went:
And then went on to say: These has gotta be the worst attempt at twisting established principles and lexicon I'd ever seen my entire life- all borne out of an undue penchant for opposing anything and everything not of one's political leanings.
First, the first quote, at no point did the government say or give the impression it wasn't approaching the probes with "an open mind" and the op wants his readers to believe. It is a cheap blackmail using innuendo in reference to the government's policy of bringing treasury looters to book. Unfortunately, there are lots of gullible and genuinely ignorant readers out there who would likely be sold to the op's antics.
That being said, the poster dove even further into the abyss by making the statement in "quote 2". I couldn't just believe what I was reading! What in God's gracious name is meant by "investigating before probing??
Dear readers, here are the definitions of both words (investigate & probe) as stated by the English dictionary as they relate to the subject matter:
The three words investigate, probe, and inquiry are all synonymous and can be used interchangeably in this regard. Now, note the bolded and the "asterisked" in these definitions and tell me what the difference is. I'm am pretty much sure the op of that thread knows this but deliberately made those remarks and endorsed Kukah's due to his fancy for the absurd.
That said, it is really unfortunate he tried to justify Kukah's statement as captured in the first quote in his original post, stating that probes have no place in a democracy such as ours. For the benefit of the ignorant, our Bicameral system of democracy is modeled after America's and I can't think of a democracy within which more "probes" have been conducted than America's: so I really have no idea where Kukah and the op are coming from.
Next, the op stated: First, the government isn't working on "mere speculation".
The op and the rest of us know less than one billionth of what are contained in the handover notes of the immediate past government, and there is no gainsaying they form the bulk of the reasons behind the ongoing probes. Even the ex-president himself admitted he was oblivious of the extent of sleaze that existed under his watch. Contracts running into billions were awarded, some contractors were paid, in some cases fully, yet projects weren't executed.
Just recently, news surfaced about a contractor in who rushed back to site out of fear of being captured in Buhari's anticorruption dragnet- dailyindependentnig.com/2015/08/buhari-phobia-n2-5b-adada-dam-contractor-rushes-back-site/- and it is our believe a lot other such cases that evaded the eyes of the press exist.
The op was being rather tactless saying (agreeing) the probes are a distraction. First, Nigerians from all walks of life who long for a better country are on the same page with the government on this, especially judging from their reactions to Kukah's statements. That aside, the government's purse is thinning due to the crash in the price of crude and she needs all the monies illegally acquired she can mop up from the past officials to finance developmental projects, as she seeks ways to reduce recurrent expenditure.
Furthermore, isn't it mischievous of the op to say the probes are a distraction when the same person holds the opinion that they should be extended to cover regimes that precede Jonathan's? When that is done, does it mean it is no longer a "distraction"
On the "number 1" thingy, that has already been dealt with- there is no difference between a probe and an investigation.
Lastly, to crown his mischief, the op went: This is just absolutely laughable! Here's the op saying Buhari should "investigate" them first, then "thoroughly investigate" them!! I really am at a loss of word to qualify this.
Whatever it is, we know the antecedents of the poster and don't expect less from him- today he adorn's kukah with a robe of sainthood, we all know what he would say of the reverend should he make remarks critical of Jonathan's admin tomorrow, but it is incumbent on those with enlightened and discerning minds to speak up when logic and reason appear to be turned on their heads with its devastating consequences. The least we can do is what we do here when we find the time to- defuse and disarm PDP propaganda.
Thank you.

Why?..buharis entrance changed the game.why?.simply because under Jonah it was profitable for the gencos and disco not to provide power.they make a lot of money for service charge and estimated billings.it was lucrative not providing power.the govt was subsidizing n.when the power or was been unbundled .we were told that competent experts with technical and financial capabilities will be brought in.what happened?. igbobuigbo: Do you know what is in the agbo that you drink? Do you know it contains ground human flesh? ==========================================================
We grind human heads to make powder for ladies in search of husbands- Native doctor A native doctor and suspected ritual killer arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Lagos State Police Command has said that he grinds human heads into powder as charm for ladies who are looking for choice husbands and big contracts. Olasunkanmi Owolabi, a 43-year-old native of Oyo town, said the concoction is also used as cure for stubborn sores, mental illness, sickle cell anaemia and epilepsy. He also said had planned to establish a specialist native hospital if government gave him the approval. Arrested with Owolabi were his two co-travellers, Clement Omodijie and Usman Saliu a.k.a. Alfa. Omodijie, a 54-year-old indigene of Ekpoma, Edo State, says he is married with three children. A grave digger at Gbogbo Cemetery, Ikorodu, Lagos on a monthly salary of N22,000, he said he had worked at the cemetery for five years before he was arrested by SARS operatives. Saliu, a 31-year-old native doctor from Ilisa town in Osun State and Owolabi’s ally, said he trained as an alfa (Islamic cleric) at Ralwu Islamic School, Ikewu, Osun State where he claimed he spent nine years learning native medicine. A police source said the three had been charged with unlawful possession of human parts. Owolabi (43), who was arrested on June 22 this year, was said to have requested a human head from Omodijie, saying that he needed the skull to prepare a medicine for his patients. Omodijie obliged Owolabi by exhuming a corpse from one of the graves in the cemetery where he worked and delivering the head to Owolabi. Upon a tip-off from a member of the public, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, was said to have directed the officer in charge of SARS, Abba Kyari, a Superintendent of Police, to fish out the ritual killers. Kyari immediately swung into action with his team. He put a call through to Saliu, saying that a human head was urgently needed to save the life of a wealthy patient whose illness had defied orthodox medicine. Saliu asked the detectives to come to Ikorodu for the transaction. But he was arrested as soon as he showed up at the agreed place. The human head he came with was recovered and put in a polythene bag as an exhibit. confessing his role in the saga omodijie said, “i was content with being a grave digger before i met owolabi in a restaurant in front of the cemetery in gbogbo area of ikorodu. since i met owolabi, my life has not been the same again. I have moved from one problem into another. i was enjoying my n15,000 monthly salary as a grave digger before i met him and he lured me into supplying human heads to him at n4,000 each. “The Unclad truth is that there is nothing reasonable i have done with the n4,000 per human head that he has been paying me. i used it to drink gin or smoke cigarettes with it. it is the devil’s money. “i hardly fell sick since i was born. but after selling human heads to him, my health has been deteriorating. I buy drugs as if it is food, making me to spend more money than before. “i was moulding blocks before i secured a job in the cemetery as a grave digger. we were paid on a daily basis. we used wooden or machine moulder. but whichever moulder we used, we charged the owner n500 per bag of cement, which can give one about 40 blocks. if we did three bags, we collected n1,500. “when i got a job in the cemetery, i was happy because it is not as hard as moulding blocks. The salary was small but i was enjoying it. the grave was shallow or deep, depending on the owner of the corpse and the way he or she wants it to be buried. “my trouble started a day i went to buy food opposite the cemetery. that was where i met owolabi and he said there was something he had wanted to tell me. He asked whether i was a worker in the cemetery and i said yes. he said i should give him a human head and i asked him what he meant. he said the head of a corpse already buried. “we have cemetery rules which forbid us from doing such a thing. i told him that i would not be able to do that, and he left. but thereafter, each day i went to the restaurant to buy food, he would accost me with the same request. i insisted that i would not do it because i did not want to lose my job, but he said it was better to sell human parts to him than allowing them to waste. “I summoned courage to ask him what he wanted to do with human heads and other parts. he said he was a native doctor and alfa, and that he wanted to use it to make medicine. He said he would grind it into powder and mix it with certain herbs for pregnant women to drink in order to deliver their babies without complications or operation. he also said that he grinds human heads and mixes them with the powders some ladies carry in their handbags, saying that it helps those that are looking for choice husbands and big government contracts or companies’ lpos to secure them without stress. he also said that it can cure sickle cell anemia, among other ailments. “I told him that i didn’t have any but if i got one, i would call him. A few days later, i called him on the phone and told him that i had got some. he asked me where i kept it and i told him that i kept one in a nearby bush. he asked me to bring it to my house so that he would come later to collect it. “he knows my house because he had followed me to my house several times after we met and became friends. he gave me n4,000 for the first head he came to collect from my house. the following day, he bought another one for n4,000.” asked how he obtained the heads he sold to owolabi, omodijie said: “The graves where i normally bring out the skulls from are shallow, and coffins are not used for the corpses brought there because of religion or financial status of the owners. it is cheaper to bury a corpse in a shallow grave than to do so in a deep, cemented or marbled one. “most burials done in shallow graves are temporary. that is why that section of the cemetery is called the temporary site. after some months, the corpses buried in shallow graves are excavated and burnt. that was why owolabi i should not allow the skulls to waste and that i should sell them to him instead.” “four of us work in the cemetery, but the other workers did not know that i was smuggling out human skulls and other parts to sell to native doctors. it was only two heads i had sold before detectives from sars arrested me. “there is no useful thing i can say i did with the money. I was deceived by the devil. i am pleading for forgiveness because i did not kill a l anyone to sell their heads. i sold the skulls of corpses already buried and had decayed. i did not know that it would land me in this trouble.” owolabi on his part said: “i am an alfa and a native doctor. but i am not yet registered. i finished my arabic studies in kwara state about 13 years ago and relocated to ikorodu to work as a native doctor. i have the ambition of building a native hospital if the government gives me an approval. “I started by praying for sick people. last year, i met this cemetery worker (omodijie) and told him about the products (human parts) they were wasting. i learnt about using human skull to do powerful charms and medicine after travelling to kano, kaduna and other parts of the north. “in kano, i met a yoruba native doctor who told me that if i mixed ground human bones with soap and some herbs, it would bring luck for my clients or patients. He said it could also cure chronic and stubborn sores and help pregnant women to deliver without complications or operation. it can also cure madness and other terrible diseases that defy orthodox solution. “women who are looking for husbands can also mix the ground bones with their powder. when they see a man they like, especially if they want a husband, they would rob the powder and talk to the man and the man will fall for them. it can also bring good luck and help job seekers to secure employment. “it can make somebody to become rich. it can cure epilepsy. a woman can also bath with it and men will be begging her to marry them. i sell a tablet of the soap for n2,000. it depends on the pocket of the buyer. some buy it for n1,000. I sell it around ikorodu and ajah in lagos. “saliu had told me to help him to get a human head and i collected one for him from the cemetery worker. he gave me n4,000 and i gave it to the cemetery worker that supplied the products. “when sars operatives arrested him, he led them to my house and i was also arrested. i knew the grave digger to be a worker in gbogbo cemetery at ikorodu. when he wanted to throw away some (human) parts, i told him that i needed them. i normally gave him n4,000 per skull.” saliu said: “i am a native doctor. i also spent nine years in ralwu islamic school, ikewu, osun state. i pray for women who are looking for husbands. i collected whatever amount they gave me. when the prayer worked for them, they would come to thank me with anything they liked. “i usually lock myself up to pray for my clients for between seven and 21 days, depending on the personality involved. they paid whatever amount they liked. The only money they were required to deposit with me was the one to buy certain things that i would use to prepare the things i would use for the prayers.” asked why he had to use human skulls for his prayers, he said: “i had not used it before. one of my brothers came and met me in the house one day and told me that he went to ila-orangun in osun state to do rituals for money but the person he met told him that it would require a human skull and certain leaves. “when i met my brother, owolabi, we talked about how to get the human head. he told me that he himself used to do the same medicine with human heads and some herbs and even made medicinal soap with it. he asked me to go and bring money and he would help me get a human skull. “i asked owolabi where he would get it from and he said he had a link at the gbogbo cemetery in ikorodu. after six to seven months, my brother called me while i was still in bed and asked whether the human head was ready. i told him to let me ask owolabi about it. when i asked owolabi, he told me to come and meet him. when i met him, he said it would cost n18,000, saying that he bought it for n12,000 from the cemetery man. “a friend of shina came and gave him n15,000. owolabi took n10,000 and gave me n2,000 only, and told me that he would use the remaining n3,000 to pay for the transportation of the human head to the final destination.
