You love to clutch at straws shamelessly telling big lies and creating your own narrative birthed from your dark imagination.

I always say in the Here and Now maybe you have forgotten. In addition football is always about the present continuous.

Can you therefore tell me the last time I mentioned Ikpeazu as a SE prospect if EVER, because I haven't.

When was the last time I mentioned Chuks Aneke as a prospect along side Onyedinma, actually 2/3 seasons ago. The same follows for Tega Onomah.

I noticed you did not mention Tomori, Aina , Tega Abraham, Tosin Adarabioyo, Eze ,Olise, Iorfa, that I mentioned in the same time period. WHY huh

Players form, performances, in the HERE and NOW and the present may go up and or go down. So when a player is not performing we exclude them. We then look for those who are outstanding consistently performing, it's simple, we don't Lower the standard and keep selecting poor performer's, that is mediocrity.

We do not enthrone mediocrity or base our HERE and NOW standard on historical performances at youth level 7 years ago. That's LUDICROUS.

In addition I have a higher expectations level for the SE which means that I just think certain player's have not done enough to be considered. That's why I haven't mentioned someof them for 2/3 seasons.

But in the HERE and NOW considering how low the bar of standards is in the SE . Maybe that approach is flawed and unfair to these Championship players.

Turkish league is rated 18 in Europe and within that range you have Cyprus and Czech league. If the EPL is the best in the World, is it wrong to consider that Championship may be better than those leagues ❓❓

I can assure without an iota of doubt that the Championship is unequivocally better than the Scottish premier League and it's rated number 9 in Europe. Food for thought for those who have an open mind to think.

You allege some one is making "idiotic statements' l have already in a previous post posted his wage level, small error I admit, he is the second to the last lowest paid player in Huesca.

You claim "intelligent statement". with regard to the bold that Nwakali was an unproven academy player.

Let's examine your intended disinformation, In 2016/17 he played 29 games in the Eerste Divisie ( 2nd tier Dutch league) he got a move 2017/18 to the Eredivisie but had to come down back to the Eerste Divisie,in the same season he wasn't good enough in the same 2017/18 season. At end of the season he was so poor he went Porto B in the 2018/19 could not even make the B team proper. Obviously Porto didn't even consider him ,he was obviously too good.

He then goes to Huesca because nobody wanted him and he takes a peanut contract in 2019/20 he played 5 games or thereabouts and they Huesca no found him so well below standard and loaned him to a very lowly Alcorcón fc 2020/21.

He is back to Huesca and he is doing ok it seems but he is not outstanding, just making up the numbers. But they have not upgraded his contract. What does that tell you , maybe he needs the SE to boost his failing career.

So this is your definition of an unproven academy player, CHEI !!! I hail you .
I think I slightly over rated you, because you keep proving to me semantically and grammatically, that you are even worse than I thought, hence you always resort to ambiguity with your usual phantasmagorical juxtaposition of phrases and words in order to mask your semantic inadequacies. Where in my post did you read “Nwakali signed for Huesca because he was an unproven academy player”? What did you think was the function of the phrase “more or less” that preceded the statement you quoted with your pituitary glands stuck in your anal sphincter just because you wanna bury Nwakali out of hatred?

Okay, back to the boys you claimed not to fancy no more, when you were singing their praises, was any of them doing better than Nwakali is doing today?

Let's burst your DELUSIONAL bubble, if he is so good why is he the lowest paid player in his Segundo division team Huesca huh

I will not ask why he has stayed in mediocrity for five years from one lower league to another even descending to youth football in Porto B and still struggling.

Is it only the coaches in the NFF have eyes to see ,that nobody is else in European football can see.

I know you will not answer the question but resort to gutter language and vitriolic rhetoric EVADING the question completely.

Evasion master always making noise and changing the subject because you just cannot get into a civil substantive discussion.
You always have this penchant for making idíotic statements to impress the lowlifes who come in here to lick your ass to feel relevant. Who made Nwakali the lowest paid player in Huesca and why?

For a start, Miguel San Roman is the lowest paid player in Huesca not Nwakali but I don't blame you for repeating same fallacy over and over again, after all, there is no better ways to prove your imbecilïty than that?

Secondly, Huesca signed Nwakali when he was more or less an unproven academy player, so you don't expect them offering him millions. Also, Nwakali hasn't extended his contract since the last one as he plans to run it down to move to a better league and club. Offers are already on the table to improve his contract but he hasn't accepted it.

Now, in the here and now, who amongst these heavily paid flops is better or even as good as Nwakali? Onyedimma, Ejaria, Onomah, Ikpeazu, Aneke etc, and why have they remained in the mediocrity of English football with their enormous talents, efforts and wages? Does it mean that no team or coaches see them? Abi na only you Nairaland English scout dey see them? You are a pìg

On a serious note, there is no one in the Super Eagles that has the kind of touch of Nwakali. I don't know if he is raising his game because of the call up but that last through pass was brilliant. That was similar to that of Sarabia.

Sad it did not get to his teammate.

His ball control is also cool.

He needs to work on his work rate. Sometimes he strolls a bit too much. Also, he will look far better in a deeper role, playing in a possessive system. Nice one.
This is what he gives his team week in, week out. He is a total baller who hardly has a bad game, that is why Huesca fans are scared he might get poached this winter.

My respect for Eguavoen just went up.

Eguavoen explains why he shelved the plan for seven NPFL non-roster invitees to train with Eagles

Nigeria's caretaker manager Augustine Eguavoen has explained why he shelved the plan for seven Nigeria Professional Football League non-roster invitees to train with the national team in Abuja ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles legend was in touch with players from Enugu Rangers, Kwara United, Kano Pillars and Rivers United among others, only for him to jettison the idea on second thought.

Eguavoen stressed that it made no sense for the seven domestic-based players to train with the team as their clubs have key matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

None of the NPFL stars stood a chance of being included in the traveling squad to Cameroon this week simply because their names were not on the provisional roster submitted to the Confederation of African Football.

"I still have their names, about seven home based players I wanted to be in the midst, train and then see what happens but my hands were so tied that the league only started on the 19th of December," Eguavoen said to NFF TV.

"I know players have to play in their teams, no time to play any friendly games.

"I had to reach out to Tope (Olusesi) from Rangers, (Musa) Afeez from Kwara United, Uche (Onwuansanya) from Rivers United, couple of players but we have to submit a list, so there is no time to actually give them that opportunity to play friendly games but hopefully they will also still have a chance.

"But it really doesn't make sense to bring them now, deny them from playing for their clubsides midweek, weekend, and then we are on the plane to Cameroon, and to go back home. It doesn't really make sense but their chance will come".

Enyimba's John Noble is the only home-based player included in Nigeria's 28-man squad list for the Africa Cup of Nations and definitely starts the tournament as the fourth choice in the pecking order of goalkeepers.

yes Dey can with ndidi sitting deep while Onyeka is deployed as an energetic box to box midfielder

It’s Rohrs conservative style made us believe both can’t function together

Onyeka is a good carrier of the ball wit immerse energy and stamina to go forward and return to help out in defense. Also he is a good tackler

A midfield of ndidi,Onyeka and any of aribo or iwobi will be perfect
I really have to agree with you on this though I want Nwakali there. I have a feeling that Onyeka might give the team that Bennacer vibe because he plays hard and gets very much involved in the Midfield just like Bennacer in 2019.

Rohr shares the blame for his dogmatism

He wasn't fluid enough

But we can't also deny the fact that Bonaventure is a nutcase.. The guy stubborn gan... What I deduced from the whole issue is this

1). Dennis wasn't part of the 37 man list penned by Rohr

2). Due to 1 above, Watford were not informed same time as Ekong...

3). Rohr and Dennis don't see eye to eye hence why he(dennis) decided to not play the Afcon(initially)

4) when Austin was appointed, Dennis had a change of heart but Watford had something to hold on to as per (2)

5). Dennis wasn't so interested in the whole stuff and preferred to stay where he is treated as a King
Kpom! That is it.

If all these allegations are true, then Dennis is at fault here not NFF or Watford.. He seem to have attitude problems..
But Rohr is also partially at fault for his refusal to use friendlies and fringe games to give new players a chance...That's why I've said it repeatedly that if I was Ola Aina,I would decline future invitations to the national team..

If Dennis feel like he doesn't need international football, then it's best he is left alone...
No Danny, the whole blame should be on the Franco-German bingo. How do you invite players in both friendlies and inconsequential matches withouth giving them minutes and you expect them to be happy? Imagine what he did to Uche Agbo. Not every player will take such nonsense from such a low class coach. I played this game and I know how it hurts when you are disrespected as a player by not giving you your due chance. That man nearly cost us a world cup place in 2018 when he insisted on Shehu(an ineligible player) in an inconsequential match against Algeria leaving out on the bench, an eligible Tyronne who had hardly seen minutes since his clearance. That man destroyed our team and I thank God he has been shown the exit door.

Watch eguavoen short interview abt Dennis not coming to afcon...ire o cool
Those of you barking like a dog since yesterday, I hope you all have enough data to see this?

Dennis wanted to come, but his club threatened to take action against him. Now, why was the club able to beat their chest to make such threat? Simply because, his invitation came late.
So why did his invitation come later than Ekong's? Because he was never in the initial 37man list made by that bingo from Germany.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 9:07pm On Dec 31, 2021
And the truth keeps coming out, Dennis was invited late this December and that was the reason NFF delayed in making the list public. The list initial was a 37man list, but he was included with Iwuji and another player in December to expand it to 40.

Dennis wanted to go to the AFCON but he wasn't sure of what his fate would be considering that he was never in the initial list submitted to the NFF by Rohr so he had to weigh his options.

The two boards had to discuss this late invite and at the end of the day the NFF had to bulge since Dennis was never in the initial list making his invite come late.

Blame that Franco-German bingo for all these mess not Dennis
