elampiro: Feelings are that it's no good news at all as United prepare for a 2nd scan. He might be away for a while.
We better get Anderson in shape. I am not for Fletcher now. Fletcher's game is too predictable. It's like we must register atleast an injury every week. |

ElFenomeno1: Why wont Rio walk into SC Paderborn's defence?!
You think Patrick Ziegler or Michael Heinloth will start ahead of Rio?
Heinloth only made his Bundesliga debut last month for fu...ck sake.......
Rio will walk into more than half, infact 80percent of the Bundesliga sides as things stand.
You are insane Dayokunu! Rio will still bench Dancer (Dante) |

elampiro: Have you guys suddenly forgotten SAF has been using Kean and a few others in defence?
* As for our fitness coach, now we know where the problem has been. Rafael and Fabio were always getting injured too. He did not develop our young defenders well. Well, wait until we see the handiwork of the new guy. |

n0m0705: One thing I like about van gaal is his preference for young academy players, he is better than fergie in that aspect. The fergie I know would not have played mc nair yesterday, he would have played fletcher or some other senior guys out of position. It is left for the academy boys to seize any opportunity that comes to them. Exactly what I've seen. LvG plays you in your position regardless of your age as long as you meet his reqts. I think he'll be better at giving our youth their chance. |

coogar: if he's injured, what can we do? carrick is a good passer & blind is also sure of his passes. i hope taking herrera off was precautionary though.....he's too good not to have in our next game. we need rafael & shaw in tip top shape & 2 beastly centre-backs. Yeah. If he's fit for next game then he should take Rooney's position while maybe Carrick or another DM joins that midfiled. Mata is sluggish for Everton game. Rooney to add some pounds before City game |

coogar: smalling, jones, fellaini & carrick would be back next week. the defence looks ok with those & any of fellaini/carrick can replace herrera.
we should be able to destroy everton with our attack. Our midfield will be a joke without Herrera. I'll keep praying he comes back before next game. |

SailorXY: he was better than Evans & Smalling has been so far. besides, whenever we play well, the message becomes that the opposition was poor this team dispatched Liverpool. without the gidigbo tactics allowed to flow by Clattenburg against Leicester, we would have also heard that was the worst performance by Leicester this season. without the early caution to Song, it was exactly the same pattern West Ham had in mind kudos to the British press for the "poor" sermons tho, long may it continue Well, unto da next. Everton like wing football. LvG must try and counter it. Hope Jones and another CB return. Herrera should take Rooney's place while either Carrick/Fellaini/Fletcher goes into that midfield against Everton and Chelsea. |

SailorXY: @chrisley024 what can we say about Rojo's performance in CB? cuz e be like say you get beef with the guy He was ok. Let's hope he continues. Rafael was the best at that back. Shaw was also good. Westham though was poor today. |

Manchester United fitness coach Tony Strudwick taken off first team duties after Louis van Gaal brings in Jos van Dijk
*Tony Strudwick has been at Manchester United since joining the club from Blackburn Rovers in 2007.
*The long-serving fitness coach has been replaced by Jos van Dijk.
*Strudwick has been told to work with Manchester United's youth players.
Intrigue over Manchester United’s poor injury record this season deepened on Friday night when it emerged that their respected and long-serving fitness coach Tony Strudwick is no longer involved in key first team duties.
United manager Louis van Gaal revealed on Friday that he has nine players missing injured ahead of Saturday's visit of West Ham United in the Barclays Premier League. Van Gaal has described the crisis as the worst he has ever known.
Now it has emerged that first team fitness expert Strudwick has been moved from his usual role to a job looking after the physical development of the club’s younger players. It is understood that Van Gaal’s long serving fitness guru Jos van Dijk is now in control of fitness planning and programming for the club’s elite stars. My line up: .............................DDG........................... Rafael...Thorpe/Paddy....Rojo...Shaw ......Herrera......Blind.....Fellaini......... ......Di Maria.......Falcao......Rooney..... I'd go with 4-3-3; 2 holding midfielders/DM of Blind and Fellaini. Fellaini will give us some steel and help against aerial ball. Di maria and Rooney should use also their workrate to offer some protection to our fullbacks when we're defending. |

coogar: rooney finds it difficult to make forward accurate passes. close to 60% of his passes this season have been backwards.
so what do you expect? I've noticed he's better at long passes than common 4-6 yard passes. |

Odunharry: Manchester United striker Robin van Persie wants to find a way to play effectively alongside both Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao. Falcao's deadline-day arrival on a season-long loan from Monaco left manager Louis van Gaal with an embarrassment of riches in the final third. While the Red Devils boss is yet to find the right mix between the trio - who all started Sunday's shock 5-3 loss to Leicester City - Van Persie insists that they can all play at the same time and work well. "We want to play together," he told Fox Sports News. "We are constantly talking to each other [on] how we ca improve our game together because everyone feels that [when] we are together we are stronger. "It's quite interesting to see one of those conversations because we all have the target. We want to win games. We want to share success. I don't think we have a confidence issue, if I'm really honest." Van Persie also reiterated his faith in Van Gaal - despite United having wo just one of their first six matches in all competitions under the new boss thi season. The pair worked together when Van Gaal was in charge of Netherlands an the striker is convinced that the 63- year-old can handle the pressures th come with the top job at Old Trafford. "I think his numbers speak for itself," the forward argued. "He has succeeded everywhere he has managed. Everyone believes in his philosophy as well. "If you look at the players we have now, the staff we have, the stadium, the fans - if you add all those things up, I'm very confident for the future. If you ask me I will liken RVP and Rooney to Cat and Dog. Both should never be on the pitch at the same cos it's rather a harm to the squad than a gain. What's the need when Rooney, playing behind RVP, makes a max of 2 passes to him for a whole 90mins since SAF left?. I've noticed Rooney makes more passes to Welbeck or Chicha. |

SailorXY: Andy 'gidigbo' Carrol is not available They still do a lot of crossing and aerial ball. I saw that against L'pool coogar: rojo & blind can play in the defence - flank them with rafael & shaw. surely, carrick should be ready now, he's been training for 2 weeks. marouane is back from belgium too. Rojo and Blind can't ward off those aerial balls so I believe the best way is prevent the crossing into our box. If LvG doesn't offer protection to our fullbacks, then it's going to be a very tough day for us. |
