Siena:
Hmm, how odd.

Perhaps it's best you answer their questions, as to your location. They WILL know where you live anyway, and it's likely the questions they ask are merely security ones, just confirming you are who you say you are.

I've no idea how pay-as-you-talk works, always been a contracted phone user myself.

Keep on at them, and good luck.
look I have given them all these information over and over again on different occasion. most times after collecting the information about you and line, the next thing they say is that they can't access their data system at the moment that you should call them back at a give time which for sure by them you will another different customer care representative or that you should not worry that they are going to call you back later which would never happen.

Now Siena, this is classic introduction to understanding a "Yahoo" business.  As you can see, both the subscriber and the vendor are "yahooists"!!! grin  This is because there can never be a"yahoo" business" without a yahooeee and a yahooer.
@ BABEELOVE what did you mean by this craphuh I dont get it and I want you xplain to me better embarassed

Nairaland GeneralMy Glo Experience by chrisoml(op): 11:34am On Aug 15, 2007
on January 9th I recharged 750 naira to my Glo line 08053938046. I made some calls and was left with about 480 naira worth of credit. Then later that night i tried to call a friend of mine but trust our Naija network, it refused to connect. I said ok maybe a text will do, yet I keep on receiving an error massage saying your message can not be delivered at the moment. The next day I tried to use my phone, they said that I have insufficient credit on my phone. Since on the 10th of January I have been calling Glo customer care embarassed embarassed, each i time i called I would get a different person from their customer service to speak with me.
Their stories always is that they are doing some investigation or that their engineers are working on the system or upgrading. Most times they would say that they cant access their database system.
some times the type of questions they would asking is very very annoying like one of their supervisor was asking me where i was at the moment; I answered, he even asked me of my street address and some other rubbish which kind of made me mad and i refused to answer such cus I might end up being rubbed who knows.
Me am tired of them stories and told them that with that attitude, if they cant credit my line back that i would be dropping off their fraudulent line which I did because I cant be loosing my money that way to fraud.

Did any one in the house have such experience? embarassed
ComputersRe: How Much Did You Pay For Your First Email Address? by chrisoml(m): 6:46pm On Aug 13, 2007
I got my first emails address back then in 2000. And i paid nothing to get it then maybe cus i was lucky a friend of mine has a linkserve dial-up internet connection. It was so easy 4 me cus i already knew 1 or 2 things about computing.

na wa o,
please don't be surprise cus u don't really know how ppl xploit others 4 any little thing they which other don't have a clue about it. I once knew an uncle of mine who paid way above 3k all in d name of learning internet and yet could not achieve anything out of it.

Just as @ Maleeq has said, try disabling devices from the BIOS.

Me, I once has this same problem in the past not until I changed my motherboard, that was when i was able to install my new OS completely. just try it. But one thing is that am not so sure your sys is a new sys if not i would have advice you go 4 a motherboard replacement.

so many sides to this story, just trying to see how and where 10 million voluntary spies could be recruited from: 1.from the civil service i.e. having spies within the ministeries or wherever, 2.spies from private coys, 3.jobless graduates and undergraduates, 4.partisans, 5.motor park touts,6.beggers on the streets,, men the idea is world class but the question is how visible is thesehuh??//one i know for sure is that the number is overblown to create this unease and fear in the heart/head of public/private office holders.kaputi.

something else we should know is that in every 12 there is a thief so cheek how many thieves will emerge from 10 millionhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh??/
well well well, These people say they got 10 million Volunteers now watching over who? where did they get all these numbers from? how cum its only one person on this post that has cum in contact with one of d so called volunteers. if its real then I would also like to volunteer as well. where is d recruitment center for this? who do i apply to cus u can't pick volunteers they make up their mind and apply 4 whatever task that is required of them.
Am not a pessimist but an optimist. Despite this fact we don't have to just fall 4 any stories these people do cum up with.
Am patiently waiting for the information cus I too would like to join hands to the fight against corruption in NIGERIA.
TV/MoviesRe: Gulder Ultimate Search 4 (IV)! by chrisoml(m): 3:37am On Aug 13, 2007
denex:
Nigeria Breweries advertised the place as a very dangerous place. Besides scorpions, snakes and a horrendous terrain, they also said there was QUICKSAND!

Which sane person will go and contest in a place where there is quicksand without contemplating death?

I am not here trying to blame this Anthony Mudiaga so that his corpse would be flogged to second death. What am saying is that Gulder did not advertise a flower planting competition.

You can imagine me going for a cigarette-smoking competition and expecting my death to be blamed on the organizers.

I have my own grouse with these "reality" shows but when I call on Nigerians to boycott them due to extremely low compensation packages compared to the effort they put in, Nigerians won't hear. (what is a $40,000 car and a "$40,000 compared to your life?). But since they've made their decision to willfully be involved, who are we to blame?

To me, once you are 21 years old, you can be adequately held responsible for every decision you make.

I Want To See How The Other Contestants Will Fare Jare. This Boy Should Not Use His Death To Become The Star Of The Show.

We came to watch a show, let's have a show!
I agree with all that you have to say.
But don't forget that with that kind of price money people can go to any length not minding the risk involved.
i thought the organizers of this show would have put up some sort of security watch over the contestants and life guards as the case may be here.
May his Soul Rest in peace.

ComputersMy System Don't Dictate Any Usb Device by chrisoml(op): 5:37am On May 09, 2007
Hi Nairalanders'

I was trying to install a new Nokia USB-to-Serial cable for a multilinks internet connection on to a friends system. Earlier the system dictated the new hardware and was trying to install before i stopped it because I did not have the drivers with me at that moment.

I stopped it so that I will plug in my flash disk first to get the drivers. It was at this moment that the system could no longer dictate any USB even the USB mouse on the system also stopped working and was conflicting with other programms.

I do not know what else to do because I have tried to disable, uninstall and re-install all the USB yet the system refuse to dictate any USB device except for the mouse or flash disk that will keep on conflicting.

Please does anyone here got any idea on how to resolve this problem?
Your assistance would be highly appreciated.
