Lol so true.

Remember how Atalanta tried it with their Ghanaian player ko work! grin

TheSuperNerd:
They are doing it especially for the famed Nigerian engagement on social media. The international football community is finally tapping consistently into the power of Naija social media engagements for their own platforms.

This is APOTY 'Cookman' and you wont milk the huge Naija engagements ke? grin Dem don wise up. grin

That is exactly why he's not rated. Dribbling without end product.

TheSuperNerd:
Chidera Ejuke will always make the dribble highlight reels.
He played only one half off the bench but completed 6 dribbles. Higher than anyone on the pitch.
But no shots at all.

For real Doc!

La Liga being a league that rewards and admires technical football will allow Ademola to flourish.

Atalanta really dampen my guy morale. See how he's playing for goodness sake gliding past players.
TheSuperNerd:
I am telling you. Lookman has got 1 or 2 more APOTY seasons in him.

Today alone, he bagged a pre-assist, an assist and a Goal. All in his debut for ATM. Naaah, he is cooking. We have not seen his best yet.

Adefire 🔥🔥🔥 La Liga go collect from sunday. Ade is coming.

Yeah it's pretty boring to be honest.

Plus the story has too many plots which might make wrapping up hard to achieve.

Season 3 should hopefully be better.

Watching youtube highlights of Sani Suleiman and Philip Otele and I like what I see.

Admittedly YT videos are not the most accurate judge of talent and ability but I think they sometimes give you an inkling of how a player might turn out.

Sani could be very huge for the SEs. Good with both feet and looks to be very efficient with his wing player no time for unproductive shaku shaku dribbles. Loved his decision making when in the final third and watching his left foot crosses. Only question mark I have is size and strength considering that he will be facing physically imposing defenders who are also pacy. Once he checks that box omo I pity our opponents.

Otele has more of a forward's profile. Could be an understudy for Lookman.

Lol no ooo na the future hope of eagles attack according to Charlesemeka.

ChrisKels:
If he suddenly decides to play for us, Chelle should ignore him. If we weren't good enough for him when he was in a good league, we also should not be good enough for him from the desert league. We have Ogundu in Bundesliga. This one should get out abeg.

Papi85 aka Sharlesss! wetin happen I thought you said he was the best young talent that year since sliced ponmo!

TheSuperNerd:
George Ilenikhena to Saudi Arabia! Al ittihad to be specific.

Possibly as Replacement for Karim Benzema who leaves for Al Hilal also within the Saudi Pro League.

So with this, hopes of French NT callup is even lower. Should we still make a move? Coz kid is still young (19 yrs) and could return to Europe within a few years.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by chrisooblog: 11:41am On Feb 02
Very annoying somebody.

Same way he keeps saying Kvara was the main reason Napoli won the Scudetto that year.

So happy Osimhen dey ignore am constantly.

semid4lyfe:
Oma Akatugba is a disgrace.

This is someone who Osimhen fed, sponsored his trips to Italy, gave free match tickets for Napoli games, help build connections and access to Italian sports media and journalists, and generally benefitted a lot from Osimhen that is misyarning and throwing shades because Osimhen cut him

I like Lookman and rate him highly but even if he had signed for Real Madrid and Osimhen was playing in Saudi, Osimhen would still be the Super Eagles 001 and most important player.

AFCON 2023 was a physically demanding tournament no doubt plus the pitches weren't as pristine as the ones in Morocco.

Sani to Leipzig, Moffi to Porto, Lookman to A.Madrid, with a potential Onyedika move to the Bundesliga.

Have to say one of the best transfer windows for Nigerian players.

Peseiro football at the 2023 AFCON was Haramic as they come yet Lookman thrived.

Ademola will be good. I see this as his final opportunity at top level football.

Chief you can't use war scenarios to justify an agency of US government murdering in cold blood its own citizens.

The Nurse's killing is the more gruesome when there were so many ways he could have been restrained.

He wasn't attempting to reach for his side piece (which by US Constitution he has a right to possess).

Many options could have been to disarm him. Cuff him, Tazer him, restrain him, seize his weapon but no shoot him in the back like cowards.

raumdeuter:
You want to talk about real life or fantasy? Where was this rule of engagement when the Rape of Berlin was going on by Russian forces on already surrendered Germany? where was this rule of engagement when US was giving it to Afghanistan and Iraq, where was this rule of engagement when Israel vs Gaza was going on, where was this rule of engagement when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were getting hits back to back

Its only survivors that care about rules of engagement, let rabazamba tell you, the first rule of engagement is staying alive. If you have reason to think your life will be in anger, you are allowed to do anything to save your life. If soldiers tell you the terrible things that happen in warfront that human do to remain alive and get home you will leave that movie fantasy

The bold is true. A lot of us myself included were tough on Chukwueze. Maybe our criticism was unduly harsh. Yes we can critique someone's performance but always leave room for grace.

TheSuperNerd:
Nwabali, Ndidi, now Chukwueze. I am tempted to ask what the hell is happening but then I know Death has no scheduled calendar of events. It just comes whenever it wants.

Sincere condolences to Samu Chukwueze. Interesting how this news will humble Nigerians again and make them have a rethink to remember that these lads are indeed humans first before footballers... coz I recall the bashings they meted out to Chuks.

RIP to Mrs Sarah Chukwueze. She will always be remembered for this moment.

103 not out! Fantastic innings indeed!

Condolences Chief and gratitude to God for a life well lived.

Bell finally tolled on sweet grandmother yesterday morning, 3 months shy of her 103rd birthday. Though her senior brother was always adamant she was born in 1922 and not 1923 as she claimed, so she may have been 103 already. A great innings for a great woman who spent 60 years of her life adopting and training dozens of children beside her own from her 30s and well into her 90s.

Okoye based on quality would ordinarily be a goalkeeping option but his refusal to come for the AFCON shows he's not reliable or a team player.

He was handed the keys when he hadn't proven himself club wise even though we had other goalkeepers then nobody complained.

Nwabali took his chance and has cemented his place as our number 1.

Maduka should enjoy his club career no be by force.

ChrisKels:
This take is emotion laden. You will be fine. grin

Both are good goalkeepers

I've heard all the arguments but what is still making me skeptical of the chances of the petition succeeding is whether FIFA concerns itself with national laws.

Plus these same players featured in the recent AFCON highlighting the confidence of the Congolese FA that the players were duly cleared.

Believe me I'll be the happiest Nigerian if the petition is ruled in our favour but one has to be realistic.

charlesemeka85:
if that case isn’t tangible enough fifa would hv thrown it off since

And the good thing is the NFF got the timing of filling the petition right which is working in their favor currently

Heard the verdict will be heard before the end of Feb and with the look of things DR Congo will be kicked out
