I don't that report. His dad is Nigerian plus he hasn't featured for Togo at any level what so ever. ChrisKels: How true is the report about Gift Orban needing a clearance or an approval by the Togolese FA in order to rep Nigeria? Besides his mom being a Togolese, what's the entanglement since he never repped Togo at any level? |

Sadly true people mostly bred on violence and chaos. Unfortunately the unrelenting brutality of the Israelis and determination to defend their homeland will continue to radicalize young Palestinians. The Hamas leadership and Palestinian elite had better think of a more realistic and pragmatic solution or else they run the risk of provoking a very heartless Israel leadership in the future that won't hesitate to use nuclear weapons even if limited. Capaldi: Any country who’s tried to let in these people have ended up regretting it. Civil wars, terrorism, assassinations, you name it, the Falistinains have done it. Ask Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Egypt. |

This post aptly captures the Haaland x Osimhen comparison https://x.com/rajsinghchohan/status/1619791594458349568?s=20charlesemeka85: Pple get bad mouth sha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just few games without Debryune, Haaland is already showing us he's an Improved Christian Benteke with the Finishing skills of Yarmolenko
Now Remove Bernado, you'll now see that Haaland is an inexperienced Alvaro Morato with the Attacking threat of Yaya Sanogo
Finally if you remove Rodri from that Team, you'll now discover that Haaland is an Overhyped Andy Carrol with Credibility of Bendtner and the Creativity of Jonjo shelvey spiced with the Finishing brain of Jordan Ayew 😂

Someone on twitter made a point about the banned muslim brotherhood in Egypt. The Egyptian government is probably trying to avoid Hamas linking up with their own domestic terrorists and gingering them to cause wahala. raumdeuter: If you check Palestine Gaza map you will realize they have 2 borders one to Egypt and one to Israel
They are never fighting for Egypt to open their border to them.

Not just yesterday watch Real Madrid (both legs) and Inter in UCL last season. Liverpool in the league and Charity Shield. Top teams are starting to find ways of stopping him which is not easy because Erling is an absolute beast the most prolific finisher in the game. kennysville: Which is exactly what happened yesterday at the Arsenal game. He was like a Samson after Delilah shaved his head off. All running buy nothing more. Not sure he did anything meaningful yesterday |

Yes Osimhen is not the most technical of players but I think you're under valuing his abilities by just saying he's a poacher. First you forget his aerial ability. Second even with limited supply Victor is always hustling, struggling trying to get something out of nothing. Look at yesterday and also his game against Madrid despite limited chances he was able to sniff half chances something Haaland rarely does if the supply line is completely cut off. I remember Thierry Henry commenting about Haaland that yes he's probably the most deadly finisher in the game right now but he needs to modify his game to help the team out more especially if they are not creating that many chances. Lately he's started to look a little lost if the supply line is blocked. kendrick9: Both of them are average on the ball.. The best way to utilize them is to have creators around them. They are basically poachers... Their first touch and back to goal play is average.. |

You make good points but can we also query the kind of coaching our youngsters get that doesn't see them transition from young midfield starlets into midfield generals From the 80s to early 2000s the production line of midfielders was constant Muda Lawal, Henry Nwosu, Etim Esin, Thompson Oliha, Moses Kpakor, Adepoju, JJ, Oliseh, Oruma all these guys at their prime would bench all the midfielders except Mikel, that the SE has produced over 10 years. What do our coaches lack at academy level that they can't produce enough technically gifted and creative midfielders. That said I think the upcoming generation of Eletu, Daga, Ebenezer and maybe Tijani could potentially ease our woes in that department. Nomyth: Could the dearth of quality AMs in the National team be a direct consequence of our poor performance in youth football in recent years?
Our various youth teams have been the production line thru which we get quality Midfielders in the past.
Etim Esin, Mutiu Adepoju, Jay Jay okocha, Thompson Oliha,Wilson Oruma, pius Ikedia,Mikel obi, Haruna lookman all came thru the youth ranks.
Our local league hasn't really come thru for us in this regard with only Friday Ekpo the only quality Midfielder I can identify that the league has given us and it is not every time quality Midfielders pop up randomly in Europe. Only Sunday Oliseh, Joel obi and Obodo have popped up for some time.
We might need to pay more attention to the youth teams u17 to u23 if we need to discover more AMs for the NT. |

Your explanation is very plausible plus Aribo is a little fortunate that we don't have a midfielder in any of the top 5 leagues killing it at the moment. Even the fringe ones doing ok in less glamorous leagues are not outright the best of the best for their positions in their league. So personal calls for inclusion or dropping of a player are down mostly to bias or personal opinion. AndSunGorilla: Egbon, Aribo was one of the first players to work with JP when JP became our coach in the friendlies against Ecuador and I think Mexico or so. Aribo, Iwobi and Bassey, those three guys were among the first he worked with and like the cliché goes, "first jmpressions last ...........". I think JP is probably giving him the benefit of doubt because of those experiences and also his game against Guinea Bissau or Sierra Leone was very good for the SE, so while his club form is highly questionable, he has probably established himself in the eyes of JP as a good squad player. Infact, those first friendlies were big opportunities that Alhassan and Onyedika lost to make a good first impression on JP. |

No you should have said 10 fathers just jumped out of nowhere to prove what exactly Chelsea have signed Nicolas Jackson as their new attacking midfielder. The English giants have signed the Senegalese prodigy from Villarreal. Jackson enjoyed a stunning second half of the season with the yellow submarine. Sport News Africa traces the career of a fast-rising star who played for Casa Sports in Senegal. He arrived in Ziguinchor from Gambia in 2017.The 16-year-old hardly spoke a word of Wolof. But he managed to integrate without any difficulty. "He's a very humble person. We were always teasing him because he didn't speak Wolof very well," recalls Pierre Nzale. But he was never annoyed by our mockery. Today, he's a benchmark who doesn't hesitate to rub shoulders with local youngsters when he comes on holiday. It's so rare to see that these days," his former team-mate at Casa Sport told Sport News Africa. https://sportnewsafrica.com/en/at-a-glance/nicholas-jackson-the-rise-from-casasport-to-chelsea/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolas_Jacksonpotland: if I slap your mouth, his forefathers hail from Senegal |

Yeah I slowly began to reduce my expectations of Ejuke after that game too. Decision making like you rightly noted is rocket science for him. What's your assessment of Nathan Tella? Is he a diamond in the rough or just basic? TheSuperNerd: When I finally totally lost it with Ejuke was when he blew the chance to make it 2-0 vs Egypt at Afcon 2021 in January 2022.
Kelechi Nwakali on for his Cameo had sent a fine pass releasing Ejuke whose speed brought him one on one with El Shenawy.
All Ejuke had to do was cutback to Sadiq or Iwobi but what did he do? Decided to throw the chance at the Gk despite how impossibly tight that angle was.
Decision making has been his bane. Frustrating player. |

Ejuke needs to as a matter of urgency add end product to his game. Dribbling up and down without any goals or assists will never move a serious minded manager/coach. Osihmen too needs to be calm and not allow his anger get the better of him. He doesn't need to have the whole dressing room turn on him now. Hope someone he trusts talks to him and gives him wise counsel. If he gets himself frozen out it will do his career no good. Ancelotti wey dey calm pass cool breeze he engaged in serious back and forth with Shevchenko that year when he sub am for match but Osimhen na evil pesin because he did something all top players argue with coach for getting substituted. Amedino99: Ronaldo's case is mainly because of wages. Even greenwood with that his issue could still attract a European club. balotelli wey cause plenty wahala no even labour to find another European team . lukaku with all the problems he caused in Chelsea and inter was still signed by Roma. All these and more have been playing despite being football bad boys but osihmen wey no kneel beg everybody for camera na him European clubs go blacklists. What has Osimhen done that is so horrible sef? Has he ever abused or undermined a coach in public? Big NO! But the new coach in his first official match instead of encouraging your best player who scored goals to win your first game for you promptly opened his mouth to the press to complain about Victor's contributions as if he couldn't have done it on the training field or dressing room but it's Osimhen that should do press conference and give public apology? Abeg they should get out! lovewins: You're reading to respond not reading to understand. The examples cited was to draw a contrast on players who made big moves despite their issues with their previous clubs, it wasn't an endorsement of their behaviour and I also rightly noted that Osimhen's currently issue even pales in comparison.
Also, I clearly noted the disparity in wage as the primary reason Ronaldo couldn't b signed. For a 38 year old player near retirement money is a big deal even if they want to play top quality football. By your argument, Messi also was blackballed since he should want to play champions league football over moving to the US. Same for Benzema who instead of staying in Madrid opted for Saudi Arabia. See how your argument doesn't make sense.
It's English, biko read to comprehend not respond. |

As we say in na shakara but it just blows my mind how a club will deliberately troll its best player in which universe is it justified or even make sense Osimhen should just continue to be professional. Attend trainings, play matches and do what he's contractually obligated to do. Don't engage in needless controversy by going to sue anybody. At least he has shown how upset he is by deleting Napoli content from his instagram that should do. Thankfully he hasn't signed any contract renewal if Napoli decide to spite themselves by not selling him for good money in January Osimhen should just seat pretty until the summer of 2024. jihday: a club trolling their own player is weird but threatening to sue is an overreaction |
