Hmmm for new guys like Boniface and Orban I would like to see them in the SE and an extended period in club football especially in top
leagues to see how truly special they are.

Boniface the few times I've watched him is technically good on the ball and strong. The questions which I had about him which he seems to be answering is if he's prolific in front of goal. It's too soon to say he's better than Osimhen but the potentials are there. Yes in terms of technicality on the ball Boniface's touches look better than Osimhen's however for pace, strength and consistency in front of goal Osibaba is still the don at least for now.

I would be lying if I said any of our wingers has really impressed me especially in the GWG. Really hope one them can step and put the fear of God into our opposition the way Victor Moses used to do.

Nwamazi8:
Based on pure undiluted completeness I'll rate our #9 chart in this particular order:

Victor boniface

Taiwo Awoniyi

Osimhen

Gift Orban

Moffi

Chuba Akpom (I see him as a second striker than a out and out #9)

Akor Adams

The for wingers:

Nathan Tella

Ademola Lookman

Chukwueze

Moses Simon

You said it yourself that you were his strongest supporter what other evidence do you need?

It's like confessing to murder then asking where's the evidence you did it!

Dude grin grin grin

donjazzet:
One wonders why the batists are the most enthused about this. grin grin

I have asked for actual EVIDENCE that I was indeed a STRONG SUPPORTER of Buhari.

A single post where I was very clearly being hyperbolic doesn't count. Or Abi the meaning of the word hyperbole is lost on people?

Show me where I am ACTUALLY supporting and defending the APC since it's ascension to power.

Because I wonder the planet where a post like this will be read as me actually supporting the APC.
Infact the post is about me berating an APC member by highlighting how many of us who indeed did vote for APC won't be doing so again.

Reading on Owngoal that it is Moses Simon's wife Ibukun that is facilitating the Benjamin Fredrick move to Bretford.

Most of our Nigerian clubs are just lazy and would rather rely on cheap interventions from their host state governments. If Kaduna United were involved in grooming and developing this Benjamin boy they would have now been reaping the benefits. At least Remo Stars is trying a bit in that regard.

If Liverpool are really just bidding for him now then they are not serious.

Ndidi should sha go where he'll be utilized and appreciated.

Actually I think it's good news an EPL club will be a great platform to improve his game. Even if he won't break into their first team now the loan option would at least guarantee him some playing time.

ChrisKels:
Chiemela Benjamin Fredrick to Brentford?

I'm skeptical about this move because I don't want him being sent out on loan or warming the bench. He is too good for that.

Chief you're comparing apples to oranges.

Gabon's issue is a clear case of a kleptomaniac sit-tight ruler getting removed after trying to manipulate the existing institutions to make himself stay in power.

While in Niger a duly elected president who has barely done two years of his term was illegally removed by military interlopers. How can a regime be unpopular when it hasn't spent up to half of its time there?

Obaaderemi2:
What just happened in Gabon is a hint for Nigeria to stay out of Niger's issue. The people are angry with the status quo across much of Africa. Unpopular regimes are being unseated. Africans were made to believe military rule was bad and many subsahara countries shed their military government togas only to shockingly find out that the politicians are actually bigger thieves.

Guy you're a full grown adult take responsibility for your action and its consequences.

Blaming someone for making you choose to vote for somebody not just once but twice!? C'mon undecided

People that were 'deceived' into voting for Buhari in 2015 didn't vote for him in 2019 so don't make it sound like you were a hypnotized individual who doesn't know his left from his right.

donjazzet:
Yes indeed, I was deceived by Tinubu that they were the answer to our problems and then I weighed up the fact that it was either them or PDP who had indeed normalised corruption in nigeria and I carefully decided to experiment with them and that experiment has proven a failure.

Now what does this have to do with my post.

Because it's almost like you're saying that because I voted the APC, I should never condemn and criticize them?

Does that seem like a reasonable proposition to you?

Do you believe that anyone who for whatever reason voted for the APC and Buhari should never acknowledge that their choice failed but should instead double down like the larrides and the dayo's and further entrench that failure??

You think it would be best if I stuck to APC no matter what even though I know the APC has failed? I should never point out how they failed us?
Because if that's not your point, then it's highly irrelevant to keep repeating this point whenever one points out the failure of this party that continues to doom nigeria.

Did the Bongos stay in power through their own efforts? was it not the same military that enabled them to stay on this long?

If they were 'tired' they would have changed the status quo way before today.

If they are enjoying Bongo's government best believe they will still be swearing allegiance to him this afternoon.

izzou:
[color=royalblue]A family has ruled for 56 years, and you think the military was not tired of it.

Military are not tired of the shit show anything. They just don't access to the national pie or they are greedy and want more.

BlueRayDick:
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/8/28/gabon-french-media-hit-by-ban-internet-down-in-disputed-election

This is what happened in Gabon

1. Ali Bongo's father ruled from 1967- 2009

2. Ali Bongo took over immediately after his dad's death in 2009 and has ruled till now.

3. Ali Bongo contested against a former minister in his dad's cabinet in 2023 and the election has been widely adjudged to be fraudulent.(How can u ban international observers, cut off internet service and barr foreign media from covering "free and fair" election?)

4. Now military boys tired of the whole shit-show that has taken majority of their lifetime have decided to put a stop to the madness.

How AU, USA,UK and other international bodies will respond to this development is what we await to learn whose side they are on.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by chrisooblog: 3:20pm On Aug 27, 2023
Hmmm this is the first time I'm watching the 'offensive' kiss and in all honesty it doesn't look as creepy as being portrayed on social and conventional media. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen that kind of display of affection during trophy celebrations especially among Spanish and Italian teams I would be a billionaire. Although to be fair the initial bearhug looked somehow but she appeared to be hugging him back plus he initiated the kiss. That said I personally feel like it's a stretch for anyone to say with certainty that there was any hanky-panky going on.

Your second bold is most probably true many people have it in for him. If it were Nigeria he could get away with ogboju face but countries like Spain were such things are frowned upon and institutions in place to deal seriously with issues like that then it's obvious him matter don. Even if they can't nail him with any conviction the Spanish FA will make him resign because at this time it's becoming an unwarranted distraction.

BlueRayDick:
This is the first time I’m watching the video of the kiss incident between the Spanish FA president and the female player .

The truth is; the still picture of the incident and the video tell two completely different stories .

The picture makes it appear as if the man went out of line and acted in such manner that is totally condemnable .

But the video is showing a man got carried away by the whole Euphoria of witnessing his national team win the World Cup for the first time .

In my opinion, I think the man has offended so many people and they just waited for one slip from him and now he’s facing the music .

one extra thing that gladdens my heart about Awoniyi's scoring is how he's constantly improving his game.

The three goals has scored so far are not goals you would typically associate with him. Fast pace movement and great leap for his goals.
