Taciturn1:Not seemed. Eket people are very lovely & friendly. It's Uyo people that seem uncouth & hostile. Another thing is that in Uyo, they assume you are automatically an Ibibio speaker (or rather they force their language in your head by fire by force). Very somehow people. |
Business / Re: How To Open A Business Name In CAC With N12,000 In Just 2 Weeks Without A Lawyer by Christafarian(m): 3:05pm On Sep 25, 2020 |
MrRomanticLover:No law exists to compel you to register your trade or little business, save that you are bound to encounter restrictions with respect to some dealings you may want to venture into, or undertakings you may decide to make. However, itemized hereunder are the benefits you stand to gain if you register your business: 1. You can open a corporate account with your registered business certificate. 2. Potential customers feel more comfortable paying into a corporate account because they know their money can be traced. And you can open a corporate account with any bank of your choice with a registered business. 3. You can apply for loans and grants when your business is registered. 4. When you register your business, customers trust you because they see you as legit and reliable. 5. Registering your business is the first step to getting your business structured. Without registering your business, you are running a glorified hobby. 6. A registered business can get interns from NYSC. 7. A registered business gives clients confidence that they are dealing with a reputable organization. 8. When your business is registered, even if you are dead or become incapacitated, your business continues especially when you have the right structure in place. 9. A registered business gets easy access to loans and boundless opportunities. 10. You have better access to investors with a registered business as investors look at the business structure first before investing. 11. With a registered business, you can easily obtain a visa and travel to any country for business purposes and conferences. Hope this helps. Interesting15: God bless you, Interesting15. You are definitely a wheat amongst the tares. May God continue to renew your strength & increase your wisdom. You have offered an extremely valuable advisory, albeit without any material reward in view. This is altruism at its best. The aggregate of dissenting opinions represented here under your post only show one thing- The World is composed of GOOD & EVIL. Consequently, God has given us the discretionary power of choice between the two. I know there is a place for mercy of God on the life of those who chose to oppose/challenge/contend with the absolute truth which you have written here. Of course, they are in the dark & therefore ignorant. Prayers of mercy, salvation and coming to terms with the TRUTH shall continually be rendered on their behalf. But for those who refuse to come to terms with the truth & have become vile, profane & seared their conscience with hot iron, the Word of God will take its course. While you continue shining the light of truth, do not despair by the contentions of the naysayers or of the reprobates & the heathen who have chosen to consume their lusts on fleshly pleasures that leads to sorrow & destruction. For the ATHEISTS, I pray y'all souls find peace. Dear OP, you have spoken the raw truth. Any reader may chose to believe & act thereon, or chose otherwise. 1 Like 1 Share |

Janosky:You Moslems should steer clear of Christian posts and threads. You should learn to mind your businesses rather than bumping into a group that is none of your business and start spewing gibberish. You should know that to do such is a 'haram' if you are a true Moslem. 1 Like 1 Share |

NGpatriot:FURTHER EVIDENCE OF YOUR LOW I.Q: N.B: (my response herein is not a rejoinder 'cos your manifestly facile comment does not deserve same but only necessary to draw your attention to something you might be missing). 1. I'm sure you read over & and over again your deluded composition but failed to see the hollowness in it by not being able to understand & address the issues in my post, rather you choose to focus on the I.Q of the Senator which is a million times higher than yours. 2. No brevity in expressions; you needed 7 whopping misplaced paragraphs just to antagonize & drive home some sick 'points' when you could say so little and yet make so much sense. 3. Your highly convoluted composition only demonstrates your joblessness & the fact that your failure and/or inability to comprehend may be a combination of mental deformity at birth, semi-illiteracy, and hunger or any of the three. |

NGpatriot: Now you think you've made sense with this sick comment. Insulting individuals online, especially persons you may never measure up to in life only shows the shallow depth of your I.Q. I bet if Shehu Sani had been ass-licking & praise singing Buhari, or had been inactive in the Senate & quietly enjoying his jumbo emoluments in the same Senate House and had remained there up till now, then he may not be an idiot as you called him. Isn't it? SMH. Nigerians truly deserve the kind of rulers they get! |

Though I know Mr. Ernest is suffering as a result of a wasteful, planless & reckless lifestyle, it does not change my soft spot for him. I'm most gladdened with the fact that there was intervention into his matter. I'm particularly fond of people who are either brilliant, intelligent, skillful or talented in their trades, vocation or general life endeavours, and surely Ernest is one of them. Most of my old Nollywood movie goons would agree with me that this guy was good in his arts. Delivers superb, gripping & swashbuckling masterpieces in his loverboy/robber/gangster roles. His eloquence was also top notch. I hope he overcomes this travail, and also hope he corrects his past, especially by making amends with the stunning Obot Etuk. I really wish him well. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Career / Re: To The Lawyers In The House by Christafarian(m): 10:36pm On Feb 08, 2020 |
It is instructive to note that approaching the Courts to ventilate one's claims at every perceived infringement of right is not ideal in all situations. If y'all Lawyer can deploy his most potent mediation skills, y'all can recoup your salary arrears & also retain y'all (re-negotiated or original) positions, instead of wasting litigation time & money. My two cents. |
Career / Re: To The Lawyers In The House by Christafarian(m): 6:53pm On Feb 08, 2020 |
Abokii8:Guess you are curious in wanting to know y'all fate in the matter. Well, there is no damage to your case yet. Someone has already mentioned one remedial step to be taken by y'all lawyer. (Though I wonder if his prescription of an application for Default Judgment is any necessary, given the fact that he is not seised of the actual cause of action. E.g is the CLAIM for BREACH OF CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT and/or UNLAWFUL DISMISSAL or for UNPAID ARREARS OF SALARY or BONUSES or other ENTITLEMENTS ? Knowing the actual CLAIM would determine the Process to be filed in Court as well as RELIEFS to be sought thereby. Your lawyer should know what to do in the appropriate circumstance. |

Tobiunsual:Of course my expressions must not be understood by you, after all, you must protect your trade while hell bent on misleading unsuspecting house seekers. Oga, even from ur poorly expressed English & post, you know nothing & you must know otherwise you'll continue in your ignorance in misleading others. First, The TCN is saddled with the responsibility of regulating the transmission & distribution of power supply throughout the Federation. Distribution Companies (DISCOs), being agents of the TCN, distribute & bill consumers. The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) being the DISCO for the whole of the FCT so distributes from different Transmission Stations. No doubt, the Abuja Airport has its 10-Megawatt INDEPENDENT Power Plant which constitutes its sole power supply channel. IT DOES NOT & CANNOT SUPPLY SAME TO ANY COMMUNITY WHATSOEVER! The Kukwaba Transmission Station of the AEDC supplies power by special Feeders to some communities which include Gwoza, Pyakasa, Trademore Estate Lugbe, Lugbe Across, Lugbe Zones 1 - 9, Ako, Aso estates in addition to the places you mentioned amongst other communities within the FCT. My admonition to you is that you stop mentioning Airport Light as the power source for residents along and around the Airport axis. It is better to simply emphasize the constancy of power around that axis but definitely not to (out of sheer mischief or ignorance) lead them into the temptation of believing that the Airport supplies power to those locations. 4 Likes 1 Share |

alienvirus:Thank God for Nigeria bawo? The countries in that East African region by far enjoy peace than Nigeria. Our almajiri brothers have made here worse than zoo. Those are just mere locusts and can be controlled with effective pesticides. Infact, they can even harvest them for onward exportation to China or similar Asian countries who would readily use them as food or medicine. Our ''people'' here cannot be controlled and have no economic value whatsoever. 1 Like 1 Share
