Politics › Re: Abdurrahman Sumaila: Don't Support Igbo Presidential Candidate In 2023 by christejames(m):
Look at this quota system crony that has no moral ground of being appointed a chauffeur or a cleaner for a third grade primary school in Somalia is here mouthing and yapping all because of the inept govt that schemed their way into power.

If not for the uselessness of this country, would he and his former master had come close to power? now opening his yeast infested mouth to talk down on the God's people of the South East (the Land of the rising Sun) fighting for what's truly theirs. If we are to go by his warped logic then no northerner ought to near the corridor of power because the region has been overrun by insecurity, maladministration, banditary and other social vices...

I am beginning to align with the logic of NwaAmaikpe that as a northerner the only thing you need to become successful or adopted by this govt is to claim to behave wise in a foolish way like selling gworo in suit, shining shoes in jalabia, being a gateman in army general's khaki.

The biggest single shareholder in Safaricom remains the British Vodafone. wink
No matter how you try to twist and turn, that's a fact.

The other thread was locked only after Nigerians had mostly gone away from it and left it for Ghanaians and Kenyans to tear themselves apart. It was no longer relevant, I guess.
That means Vodafone still control everything

Safaricom after winning Ethiopia telcom license now valued at nearly 17B dollars. Clearly the biggest SSA company by valuation outside South Africa. I believe more than twice Dangote cement smiley

Before the entry to Ethiopia - Safaricom from Kenya market alone - crosses nearly 2.5B dollars - and with entry of 100M population Ethiopia market with 40% penetration - this could become a behemoth challenging MTN - while operating in only two markets.

They are just valued doesn't mean it's their present worth. It's an estimate of the numbers of users that will adopt Safaricom

do u realise he's another fulani man n he has never condemn any fulani madness?

With what the fulanis are doing n have done nobody will want them near power anytime soon

Atiku n Buhari are d same, Atiku is very active on social media but u will never see him condemn fulanis n even the guy charged for blasphemy Atiku didn't say a word n that same night he tweeted about Arsenal.

That's to show u that he's no different from buhari
I know that's why the power play tilts towards him...

You think the north will just relinquish power to the south like that? they've resolved to also hold unto the power for 16years like the south before anything...

Mind you, when he lost the last election he said he will have nothing to do with this administration in power now that he would rather stay away, that's why he has been majorly in Dubai after the last election.

investnow2013:
Anambra State needs Wider roads very urgent!.
--- Onitsha= 4
---Nnewi== 2
---Awka= 4
---Ekwulobia= 1
---Ihiala= 1
---Nkpor/Nnobi---1
---Ezeiweka Obosi= 1
----Atani Road= 1
----33 road to Aguleri=1
---Nnewi to Awka= 1
---Obosi bye pass to Nkpor( 6 lanes)
----Limca road( 6 lanes)
---- St Peter's Road Ugwuagba Obosi to Motor sparse Parts Market (6 lanes) This will help to decongest the Onitsha Owerri road.
Some of these roads needs to be expanded into 4 or even 6 lanes with the next 2 to 4 years unless there will be dreadlocks in the economy!.
A budget of between 30 to 70 billion Naira will go a long way in improving the road infrastructure in Anambra state.
ROADS BUILD ECONOMY AND NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND!.... Economy does not build roads!!!!. Ekenemu unu!!!
Nice suggestions here...

I would like to add that those roads should be constructed to 21st Cent. standard like some districts roads in Abuja (like major inner roads in places like maitama, katampe, Guzape etc) those roads have solid built kerbs, underground drainage that is free (you could be walking on a walkway and hearing the sounds of runny water through manholes), wide pedestrian walkways with verdant space separating the kerb from the main walkway (those verdant space have lush green grace and sometimes ornamental trees growing in between)...

I just want our governors in the east to move away from the 'Old Normal' of city roads construction where the build major inner city roads with open drainages and slime pedestrian ways to the 'New Normal' of city roads construction using the Abuja district roads as template for now.

Dalu!

Nairaland General › Share Your Experience With Popular Old Nairalanders (both Active Or Inactive). by christejames(op): 11:45am On May 19, 2021
Nairaland has come a long in shaping and building my thoughts and this can be attributed to some of the popular monikers we have had here and I know I am not alone in this line of thought.

I got to know about nairaland from my roommates in the university during my first year they will just open the sites only to read cracking comments from these monikers, the comments are witty, hilarious and boredom killing grin. Since then I became a ghost member reading their comments everyday till I registered almost a year later grin grin. Since then, I always come online at least once a day.

Some of these monikers are: in no particular ordee,

*Yuzedo angry (alias Chief Sweetus) I miss this guy's comments, always funny with his bad english in decoy, but he is a great writer. The owner of Banana Island and Rita Dominic numero uno crush. He is always on every thread disturbing with his cracking comments... the new nairalanders that see Nwaamaikpe as a menace and pest never witnessed this dude, Yuzedo was more than that. Sometimes I think they are one and the same person... intelligent and hilarious.

*CramJones grin the epistle writer and Buhari's pathfinder. Once he post just get ready to read a convincing lengthy epistle that is well written with best choice of words. Nairalanders at some points started claiming he is Femi fani Kayode. The dude entertained the politics section.

*HungerBad cry (RIP) a kind soul and another wonderful writer, a philanthropist that made sure indigent nairalanders are cared for, an American soldier... His death left a deep hole in our hearts, keep resting on brother!

*Airforce1 grin nairaland forever upcoming artist... He was a pawn played by most nairalanders. If anybody makes a thread and needs suggestion on how to make it in the music industry the comments will be filled with how not to emulate airforce1. The guy himself has a strong and kind soul, I am surprised he never felt depressed or discourage but still posting any new music he makes for us to listen to.

And so many others that I have forgotten their names...

Lets have yours!

Well I think it's nothing to worry about, maybe the specie of snails you rear are fond of doing that...

Below is what I saw online:

"...The consumption of calcium also helps strengthen a snail's shell. ... Wherever they live, all snails must come out of their shells to find food and reproduce."

I think it's either your snail wants to reproduce or eat that's why.

Why do you want to study it because of what you will gain? that's the first step of failing... Why not study it because you are passionate about it so that every other things will fall in place for you including gains.

Be that as it may, Vet Med is still a lucrative course even though many Nigerians have not had that passion for animal treatment.

I have friends and relatives (also Super Lions), that studied Vet Medicine that are doing fine now. Some have their clinic, others poultry or livestock farms and they are cashing out steadily.

Just be passionate about the course.
