the issue here is one of definition. Certainly you and i are not on the same page when we both come to what the word "christianity" means. To you it is simply an institutionalised system of man made rules - on that score Jesus Christ certainly did not bring that.

How can the papacy "modernize" christianity?
- The same christianity as was practised in the days of the apostles is the one i grew up into.

Will the Free thinker go to heaven? How come the free thinker believes there's a heaven somewhere? He believes in God and that God is in heaven and he's going to meet him there, hopefully. Even after Christ declared heaven as a battle for the last man standing, the thief on the right hand still made it "easily". (I ain't saying go steal) but if you believe in Christ maybe just maybe but i'd rather concentrate on living a fulfilled life and being good to yourself and above all your "conscience - the silent voice of God in you" and if the world gets hot, i hope it refines you and makes you better go out and do what your mind tells you to do and don't point fingers at sinners like Chris.
