@op only the Senate can't just impeach the president, a joint sitting of both the HOR and Senate can only do that.

in the real sense how can a senator utter such statement to a fellow senator. also what are Tinubu's lawyer still doing ? why not file a suit for verbal assault against melaye... since that's the other of the day

You don't need to bore me with the list.... About students being locked outside. Those students are squatters. If the school management says that they don't want squatters, no court of law can stop them. The school is at fault in the sense that, they should build more hostels. Like the Patience Jonathan hall that wasproposed which the former first lady came to lay the foundation, the project has been abandoned.

it is very impossible to build hostels that can accommodate all unilag students, but it is the duty of the school authority to provide alternatives like putting mechanism to make sure that houses of campus are cost friendly. This won't happen if the students just sit and allow the authority to hover them around.... OAU has about nine hostels yet we still have squatters and they can never be locked out.

well' MR I didn't say all your Alumni are artiste. The increment of school fees met a wide spread protest both on campus and outside school, a personal letter was given to fmr pres. Jonathan in that regard. Our school fees though varies is nothing compared to yours... If I start mentioning all the Alumni we got, I will bore you ( wikkipedia is ur friend man). We stage protest and stand with our union leaders we are not creche students that cry becos of Aluta only to be treated like animals... I can't imagine great Ife student being locked out of Awo hostel.

Can a 1yr pre-versity training be mandated for all aspiring students to other universities on OAU campus inorder to develop a strong will to stand for ones right at all time?Just the way JAMB is a prerequisite for admission, this OAU training can strengthen jambites against post secondary school intimidations either from school authorities or the Government.

No matter what the CCT rules,saraki will remain the senate president and appeal the judgement,Better get your facts right.The CCT is not like the normal court and does not even have the powers to send anyone to jail.

fyi the senate does not need the present assent to pass the new CCB act into law

lol with your above opinion that makes the CCB useless, and if that's the case, saraki won't be so afraid. He is not going to jail but he is going to lose his seat and some of those asset confiscated. Get that fact sir

MR' saraki's seat becomes vacant once CCB finds him guilty pending the time the case lingers in court. BTW a new act can become a law without the president signing it. CCB is a special and technical tribunal very different from an electoral tribunal.

Going by the recent issues surrounding the senate president I'm wondering what happens next if Saraki is found guilty and hereby suspended. Who fits in to his Seat, will a bye-election hold in His district better still does the constitution make provision for this or is it going to be another judicial war ? Lawyers in the house please enlighten us.

If the tribunal finds him guilty, he is not just technically out but disgracefully out. I think Inec should get ready for a Bye-election in ilorin where he represents. Or is there going to be another judicial process.

Saraki don buy market wey pass am.

He unfortunately underestimated the resolve of the current government not to have a man with excessive garbage in his baggage to be the number three man in order not to rubbish the anti-corruption mantra.

With the day-to-day hearing, I will like to see how he's able ti buy time to frustrate his impending disgrace from office.

I am very happy that APC doesn't mind to lose the Senate President position because of this case because this one is the president's ultimate test of his fight against corruption.

As for the paid youths, they only deserve our pity for what poverty has turned them to - political abobakus for those who stole their decent living and their future for crumbs. Chukwudi44 comes to mind here.

in the case of the senate president is absent, the deputy senate president will stand for him. I tell this trial doesn't stop them from passing there mischievous bill even if saraki has his trial from 8.a.m to 10a.m
