Childish, stupid and senseless. How do ladies get to fall for such idiots?

So this guy in my street that has Toyota Land Cruiser drives an armored car or is there a particular model of the Land Cruiser that is armored.
Because when i hear armored car, politicians immediately comes to my mind never knew many Nigerians have armored car. Even one in my street.

Not all land cruisers are armored but you can buy one and armor it.

I still don't understand how Africans suddenly became more religious than the Whites/Arabs who brought Christianity & Islam to us,to the extent that we are investing so much in building church cathedrals and mosques everywhere, while the Whites/Arabs are investing so much into research, I.T and creating job opportunities. The people who brought these religions to us, do not spend their entire lives in churches/mosques,but live sane lives in sane and organized environments befitting of humans. Africans who copied these religions, spend so much time in places of worships,create so much noise while performing our religious rites but the continent is so backward and undeveloped. We are the ones who know God more and worship him more. Yet,we are the ones living like animals. This is the irony of the black race.

Reading some comments here,actually amazes me. I just finished watching a video on Facebook,where a white man was talking about how the whites are more intelligent than the blacks and most comments here,just validates that statement.

Am a graduate of Office Technology & Management with 4 years experience on Secretary, Front Desk, & Customer Service.... staying at Ajah Lagos

Ending of January I got a job through nairaland, the office is at Ajah, I was looking forward to work at ajah because I have an elderly woman am looking after, I don't want to work very far...
I was called for interview as a Secretary, on getting to the office, it was not what I was having in mind, the office is actually in a plaza, very small one at that, so i went in & was interviewed and salary was discussed, it was a very small amount for a graduate, but it's better than staying at home and I have huge responsibility, so I accepted the offer and to start working February.o

Oe week I discovered I was the only employee, anyone he interviewed on phone after coming to see the office they ran away because of the office Condition.. In the office No system to work with, only one lap top used by the boss alone, only one standing fan facing him alone, he promised to get my system,and new standing fan the day he was interviewing me, but he didn't, I doo come to work with a hand fan, and goes home smelling sweat, buying sure & rolling like mad..

I have never done anything relating to what I was employed for, what I do is going errands for him, he sends me out to many places, to go meet friends, collect receipts and all that are very far place, I endured through till it's time to pay me, he started posting me, today tomorrow, this evening, tomorrow morning, this afternoon, EVEN when I told home I need to go for my late father burial arrangements on Sunday cos I work Saturday, he said he would send my salary and he didn't...

Then one Sunday he called me to come to office to come collect my salary, I was happy at least am getting paid for my sweat.... getting to the office, he handed over the money to me I counted it, and I discovered the money was short of 5k, I asked he said the 5 thousand was for TAX.......I was speechless at first,. because he didn't tell me anything as such and how is 5k for TAX only, This is the money after paying all my debt am left with nothing.............

Instead of you to be happy that you are working with executive governor of Lagos state, that is deducting 5k for tax,you're here complaining... Is his name by any chance,Ambode? What do I even know self.





























Take heart dear. A better offer would come in someday.

It's a pity she died out of foolishness. The other day,I was at a friend's office and the lady selling close to him was away. I decided to help her attend to these kids doing jamb lesson. I was attending to one and asking him what he wanted but the earpiece in his ears didn't allow him hear me. I asked him again and he answered me rudely... That's how most of them block their ears on the road and won't hear you when you horn at them. I don't know how people manage to use earpiece in public places and disregard their safety. May her soul rest in peace.

Upcoming states can decide to give tax windows, except to certain type of ventures it is deciding to draw or maintain in the state Lagos does not need to do that.

What are the infrastructures on ground that the govt of Lagos has put down, that is commiserate with the huge increase in taxes and rates? Or is it a different Lagos from the one we all sleep and wake up in?

Well, it was sent via social media so I'd want to assume maybe there are errors there but I've heard same thing fro about two sources. Let's wait for them to come out with an official statement that we can hold them by. There used to be a template for calculating this thing in the past. I don't know how they suddenly arrived at the new figures. Even registration of motor vehicles, has shot up to 100k for cars with less than 3.0cc engine and cars with 3.0cc and above engine, would cough out 200k for registration. Meaning, if your vehicle engine is above 3.0ltr capacity, registering it would cost 200k. That's insane.

Before you start comparing apples and pineapples,ask yourself salient questions. Is the standard of living in Nigeria, the same with the developed countries? Is the minimum wage in Nigeria anywhere close to what is obtainable in the developed countries? Is the economy as at today, buoyant enough for people to be able to afford these exorbitant taxes? The land use charge is a valid law in Lagos. Whoever owns a landed property in Lagos is under obligation to pay. Any non Yoruba that is not willing to pay should move his/her property out of Lagos. Nobody is forcing non Yoruba's to remain in Lagos compulsory.
