What does an embassy need hard cash for, shouldn't the proceeds of the embassy be transffered to the government or something, explain to me why 50k is being withdrawn. Knowing our government well, once hard cash is involved accountability goes out the window. 50k is not a lot for a country of Nigeria's capacity but the issue is why would an embassy be withdrawing 50k cash, infact why should an individual have access to such an account.

Am i the only one who seems to think that the Bus company has a lot to answer to.
This is a bus journey that started at a reasonable hour but due a lack of safety/maintenance checks carried out on these buses it was allowed to carry on into a journey it could not complete.
Now if some sort of check had been carried out these girls might have made it back to Lagos in good time and all of this could have been avoided.
I understand that the Nigerian Police could have done more to avoid this but the main blame should lie with a bus company quite happy to send teenage girls into the unsafe NIgerian roads at 11:40pm.
When will these companies start being held acountable for their attrocities
