so my daily runner car which i use to do my daily grind is a toyota avensis. Now when there is a thunderstorm i find there is puddle of water on the backseat carpets on both sides. I did some search and someone said it is some drainage hose that is clogged or pulled out. Anyone with this problem and is it an easy fix ? cheap or expensive ? Thanks

what you are crying about is what every governor does. Is it right? No. But obaseki isn't the only one who did it. They all do it. Buhari allowed the Senate and reps to elect their own by themselves in 2015 with saraki emerging as Senate president. How did it end. He regretted it. We all know how the current national assembly principal officers emerged. They are rubber stamp of the executive. And things have been moving smoothly. Budget passed on time, approvals made with ease, screening of nominees done without backbiting etc. If this is obaseki's sin, then he did nothing wrong. All I see is that oshiomole wanted to control the assembly to use it to threaten obaseki when he fails to do his bid. From your account, obaseki did no wrong than try to protect and solidify his office.

I recently posted that I got a Honda Accord 09. The car drives well, travelled from Lagos to Abuja, and from Abuja to North west.

Car was serviced before departure from Abuja to Kaduna, and was delivered on Saturday. Checked engine oil on Sunday morning, there was oil but very little. Drove out on Sunday, returned and parked car. Next day, there was no engine oil in the engine after morning check. There were some droplets of oil on the floor but too little. Called a mechanic who went under the engine and said it's the oil seals, and need to be replaced. He said he will have to bring down the engine before replacing the oil seals. Paid him for replacement of oil seals and changing of engine oil. He returned the car the next day. Car still drives well but I noticed some changes. Car vibrates when you engage gear when the AC is on but doesn't when AC is off. He said the engine seats are very ok and that I should see an AC technician. Though the car doesn't vibrate with AC on when driving. The check engine light came up on the dashboard after the replacement of oil seals. I still notice some tiny droplets of oil on the floor when car is parked overnight. Car drives fine and well but I don't want to ignore the dashboard signs.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Most of the theft is always at cotonou.
Vessels on their water for a long time gives room for their thieves to prey on vehicles at random.

The best one can do is to ensure that your agent liase with a security guard by giving chasis number of the vehicle to keep watch as soon as vessel discharged.

that's what I do o. Pay the thieves to secure the car.

There's no such setting on those cars for adjusting ride height when you select P, R, or D gears. Inertia gives you that feeling of raising or lowering the rear.

Well, although the Benin custom are always demanding because the actual price given out are always compromise to the normal duty. The surface duty based on compromise is 885k and total duty to be #1, 223,000k.

Then you just settle them, because they will negotiate with you. But a readiculus amount of money.

Have at the back of your mind that you will always keep some money for road trips apart from clearing, even the agent paid high or lower.

to avoid all this wahala, I pay the duty myself. Let you agent do the valuation, then send you a snapshot of the valuation paper. Either go to a bank or pay online. That way you pay whatever is valued yourself.
