To be honest we are truly getting close. My own source though not high up there but was actively engaged during our interview process at towers lobby before going into amphi theater.

He says strong indication that “go ahead” is expected to come downstairs anytime from now - this guy rarely ever picks calls. Last he mentioned a while back was that court case was still in the way until resolved by NNPC Legal. As usual he ends conversation with keep praying.

All other sorcerers may be right after all. Fingers crossed. Lets not discourage others who may have better sauces and connect.

Information is progressive and recent happenings buttress the authenticity of the information provided by panalyst. Its also amazing to me that other quiet sources sprang up immediately after his info on 31st Dec.

The good Lord is answering our prayers and shall bring to pass his purpose for this recruitment and no man can stop it.

I wonder why its only two or three people (balher, muhamm3d) that are still peddling court case. Even Darado who has been shouting court case since last year recently got some good news. Even Jarus mentioned that the court case is not a factor the last time. Its highly possible that the case has been settled out of court.

Its clear the court peddlers are either outdated or misinformed. I am even ashamed of those who are waiting for the outcome of the court case and still totally believing that APL will be out before 1st quarter 2020 knowing fully well how adjournments take a long time in this country. (The case started on 17th Oct adjourned to 29th October, later adjourned to 4th Nov and then 6th Nov. It was heard on 22nd Nov before it was moved to 14th Feb 2020 which is valentines day)

Balher has not said anything credible for me to believe. I wont be gullible to believe pictures and garnished words that are not concrete or convincing..

Muhamm3d has been dishing bad news since last year. I think people should stop quoting or responding to him. I dont think he applied for this recruitment. I still dont know why he loves writing epistles full of nonsense. I dont read his posts anymore. He is always quick to jump on anything negative.

Multiple sources have confirmed the progress of this recruitment. The best we can do is pray everything falls to plan. I wonder what some people will achieve by being negative and holding totally to some fake source.

Latest January because I can’t pin a date because this things are out of anyone’s hands but I can tell you AUTHORITATIVELY LETTERS HAVE BEEN TYPED for the GT’s with their Salaries included in them.

If the letters have been typed as at December, then it means a definite resumption date for GTs should have been agreed and included in the letters and since GTs do not have to give a month's notice, then resumption could also be scheduled for January. It makes a lot of sense for the notifications to come in earlier this January.

Napolitano2012 said they have finished capturing the successful candidates information online and are bent on resolving the court case informally.

The only logical thing is that they notify successful candidates this month when they are ready based on whatever inhouse variables involved and other logistics moved to January. I personally feel it will end soon to the surprise of the naysayers.

Whatever happens, we thank God for his faithfulness and mercies through the year even as we enter the new year.

The less the heightened hopes, the less the frustration and expectations and the more happy and connected with life we will be. Afterall, most sources are hearsays and have been failing and NNPC sef no dey try at all for update.

Lets just enjoy christmas jare and the new year with the little or much money available. As long as nobody has received APL, there is nothing much to worry about.

Afterall, they said they will release it on newspaper. So it will be known news. The main thing is for someone's name to be on the list whenever it appears cos it will definitely appear some unexpected day.

I remember initially it was "its definitely happening this year". Now its "latest before first quarter 2020". We just have to be open minded even if it extends and prayerful though. Only God knows the definition of the GMD's "soon" cos i cant understand the delays. It really lies with the GMD cos most sources just give an estimated time.

I pray God provides for those that have nothing doing. Its really not easy but we go survive by God's grace with determination and hardwork.

Another thing I forgot to add is she said that given the amount of publicity the recruitment has faced of recent, the comprehensive list (FOR GT'S ONLY) would probably be published in a National daily FIRST, immediately before notifications are sent in order to display the veracity of its federal character. AND also that the recruitment is NOT hinging on any court case, that the NNPC committee set up to oversee the recruitment is bent on settling the matter out of court, series of meetings have been held with the lawyer in question and his lawyer...

1. GMD promised to complete the recruitment

2. Offer likely to come before end of first quarter 2020 (could be as fast as end of this year - he/she mentioned this but I wish I didnt add it, dont want people to start mentioning my name by 31 Dec if nothing happens)

3. The guy that went to court is an attention seeker that has been ignored. This recruitment will be completed.

DISCLAIMER: While the source is close to top powers in the system, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the info but what I’m most sure of is, the recruitment will not be canceled. GMD expressly mentioned that.

The APL will definitely take us by surprise. If the list is really ready, i see no reason why successful candidates should not be notified this month while the orientation/other logistics are moved to January. Except they are inefficient as they keep portraying or have other considerations.

Well, I was wanting to say this a long time ago, I hope am wrong anyway.
For those of us that had their interview on the 4th, if you can still remember, their was this tall HR guy who was directing the candidates in block Ć to ensure the verification process was smooth. A lady managed to leave out her original waec result but came along with photocopies. The guys responsible for verification rejected her but then she met up with the guy I mentioned above. In addressing the problem he asked the lady if she can email the original copy before 12th December. She said yes. So he now directed the verification guys to include the clause on the lady's file.
I have my thoughts, I already drew my conclusions as to resumption and APL alert after that incident.
You are free to do the same.

This post also comes to mind. Could it be that the corporation put a tag as to when the recruitment should end. Wondering

I still maintain that the court case is irrelevant in this recruitment. If the GMD wants that list released, the court case cannot stop it.

The police had concluded their recruitment a long time ago even with the court order.

So everthing boils back to the GMD, I wonder if 5 months is not enough to sort out the internal issues. It appears that the corporation and GMD are slow, inefficient and not affirmative to conclude this recruitment.

If by next week, the APL does not show, it would really question his previous and overhyped "soon" statement. It gave a lot of hope but is now looking so vague and inconclusive.

See the mistake you are making ehnnn... I'm not beyond the age and I'm also expecting bruh. But while expecting I got busy and my business makes me 150k per week on a slow week. I deal majorly agric products. I'm the number 1 supplier of a particular product to restaurants and eateries on the island of Lagos, I made my 1st million (net) while waiting for this same job. All these done while waiting for APL. Infact right now, I need 2 Keke drivers who will be ready to work and theh stand to make 3 to 4k per day each whike we work together. Success is not just when you are only successful but by how many people you have made positive impact on. Only then can you be called wealthy. I'm also a legal practitioner practising privately. If APL comes I will think long and hard before accepting it but I might accept it and if it doesn't give me time to run my business I will resign. However, even if I don't have anything doing I can tell you I will never live in fool's paradise by hoping if I think positivity enough it will bring APL or that if I curse people here very well APL will suddenly appear or also deceive myself that out of all these some people have not resumed work in the same NNPC, that way no court case affects them cos after all its not a public recruitment. U people don't know waz going on. Stop confusing reality with negativity. It's the country we live in. Nobody likes it, I hate it more than anyone here but 1 thing I will never ever do is lie to myself.

I later found it was carried by News agency of nigeria and Gazette. I wonder why a court will wait till Feb to pass judgement on sth like this and may not seat on that date sef. The court case would not deter the recruitment from concluding this week. The Minister of Petroleum has given his approval and the GMD already gave his word on closing out the recruitment.
