I didn't mean you used him to get VIP treatment. I'm saying you'll deserve VIP treatment when there flaws are made known especially cos dey are yet to reset the system.

Why are my msgs not understandable at first glance?
Shey nah the way I construct the English abi the sentences
Actually, it takes someone with maturity and understanding, to accept your responses. You have a way to sarcastically respond to message and your also a very good satirist. But most times your responses are riddled with truth. So, some people might not have the patience to read again and understand it as not you mocking them, but responding in your own way.

This connection mentality has damaged Nigerians beyond repair...u think your house of rep have any influence on a German embassy..?

Na wa oo...
My brother, wasn't actually trying to use him to get VIP and Express treatment when person dey ask you about your problem and life would you keep quiet? He asked and I responded and he asked for my details, how many politicians don fulfil their promise. Who knows where the paper is by now.
For me to openly ask the question here means, I am afraid if his actions would impend my reputation. It is better i get clarifications on steps I don't understand.
Nah, him go do the school for me too? I think it is not a bad idea to be open when asking for help

Now wey you don get leg maybe hin go fit convince both alien office and naija to get their acts together and give Nigerians a logical explanation to the paucity.

Maybe you shouldn't cancel so as not to make your chairman look like a fool in their presence but expect the excuse that dey told on the website dat dey will reset the database by Sept 30.
That's when you now come in with evidence that your AD has not been cancelled since.

Embassy will have no choice than to put your name on emergency VIP list and probably serve you tea during interview
Thanks for your response, but I had to read your response over and over before I could understand what you meant. In terms of reset as they stated on their website, it wasn't done. Because, severally I tried re-booking without canceling and got the message " This entry needs to be unique. A different Appointment with the same entry was already booked" and moreso, I applied using category A since July and cancelled it Sept 19 and Reapplied same day and time. Up till now nothing.

And for my Chairman wasn't actually trying to use him to get VIP and Express treatment, when person dey ask you about your problem and life would you keep quiet? He asked and I responded and he asked for my details, how many politicians don fulfil their promise. Who knows where the paper is by now.

If you don't want to miss the admission opportunity I suggest you focus on getting to Germany. Again ask your school to extend your enrolment.
Yes, if you resume December/January,
you'll have missed a lot but at least you can still take one or 2 courses, write the exams and pass. That your Masters is for 3/4 semesters doesn't mean you must finish in 3/4 semesters.
Dear Sassy92

Thanks for your responses, I have written to my department and was able to secure a letter of extension to 1st December and no more and it is clearly written on the letter. And if I can't make it this year, I would have to reapply next year. And is 50/50 chance of been admitted next year.

One important question i need to ask is this: I was speaking to a House of Reps Member few weeks ago and he asked for my details that he was going to forward the details and find out what was wrong and i also included my appointment Number. So, my question is now that I wish to cancel and re-book with the new date, what do you advice I do going further ?

Please others should also share their thoughts about this.

My madam will love this course. I just checked it out now and noticed it is restricted. What is your background?

I pray your get into Germany quickly and start living your dreams.

Amen
OK, It is a great course, which according to Wikipedia is defined as " is the use of both physical hardware, software, and educational theoretic to facilitate learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.
It encompasses several domains including learning theory, computer-based training, online learning, and where mobile technologies are used, m-learning. Accordingly, there are several discrete aspects to describing the intellectual and technical development of educational technology "

For me I am a graduate of Communication Technology (Computer Science) from National Open University of Nigeria and I also had a couple of foundational studies in computer and professional Certification. So, I do not know what parameter was used to admit me. But I also heard about 300 of us applied all over the world, 40 was admitted and about 13 are in school now due to Visa Issues and other things.

For restriction, I just applied didn't bother about that. About 6 Nigerians i know were admitted, only one is in school. You can ask further questions and I would address them based on my knowledge.

Please can I get some more insights into these my questions please

chuksinfotech:
Dear Friends,

Good Morning, Sincerely, broken is actually an understatement for my current situation right now. And if I tell you that I am strong I am actually lying. I really don’t want to go into details of some personal issues right now.
But this is my situation. I have asked that question some time ago on this platform, about my inability to secure a date for my interview even after booking the same time with my colleagues who got dates.
I made a call across to the Consulate office on Friday afternoon to enquire why I was never called up for Visa Interview and a lady asked when am I to resume, I truthfully told her 14th October. And she analysed the timeline for me, that it takes at least 3 months to process a Visa, which practically means I can’t make it to join my counterparts this semester.

Brethren, Please share your thoughts with me on this issue. This is from my enrolment

IMMATRIKULATIONS-BESCHEINIGUNG
Wintersemester 2019/2020
(01.10.2019-31.03.2020)

Which means I have till march before my enrolment expires and I am yet to write for any extension from my student secretariat at school.
Please, unapologetically advise me.

Don't give up hope yet. Have you been following this thread?
First of all, you need to write to your school and ask for an enrollment extension. Get extension to December/January. Then you can cancel and rebook.
See ehn, don't put too much pressure on yourself. If you don't make it for winter, then you can make summer. Either defer your admission to summer or start applying for schools for summer.
Thanks, @ Sassy92, actually the school does not defer and my programme (Msc. Educational Technology, Saarland University. Only school that offers the course in Germany) starts only during the Winter semester. But what happens if I get to the school there in December or January when the semester is almost finishing?

Noooo. It means if a government official wants to travel WITH his family then they'll be interviewed in Abuja embassy. This clearly does not apply to students except you live in Abuja (or any of the northern states mentioned) AND going for Msc/PhD (they don't interview Bsc applicants)
SO they MUST invite you to be interviewed?

And the Above listed personalities cannot influence your invitation?

I actually leave in Jos Plateau State and I am going for Masters

Guys Please I need your urgent help.

My School is Saarland University and our enrolment is online (Proxy) which I have done.

My admission letter came in last month and I booked on the 10th of August, the same week with someone I know. But he has been invited and interviewed and I am yet to get a date and our resumption is October 14th. The enrolment deadline is September 30th.

What should I do?

Secondly, my school is insisting on me using Public insurance and I am under 30, I initially used Mawista for my enrolment now they are demanding a public Insurance company of I Get an exemption, the is was they said (Usually applicants with private health insurance go to a German health insurance (Deutsche, Gesetzliche Krankenkasse) such as AOK, TK, Barmer... and receive there a so-called Befreiungsbescheinigung)

My questions are:

1. Which public insurance company can I use that would give me the needed documents within 24hrs?

2. Would they allow me to get the exemption when I get to Germany?

I paid mine with Sterling Bank in 2017, but i don't know for now. With this our everchanging CBN Policies. But your best bet is to get someone with a domiciliary account, particularly GTB Domiciliary account. I used it in March to pay school fees to UNISA

Would WES send confirmation to your national diploma institution (polytechnic) ?

Wow, that happens to be a really important part that you left out. I think you should try to contact WES immediately (ensure you append your reference number to each correspondence that you send out to them). Kindly let them know that you have sent your documents which they can expect to receive any time soon but that you had missed the step of including your reference number on the scratch card. They would naturally be in a better position to advise you on what to do. This is just my own opinion, anyway.

TIP: Contacting WES through their Twitter account has always worked the quickest for me.

Best of luck, buddy.
What do you think is the hope of someone with 2 sittings in WAEC and most I send the online version of my result or should i use my original result ?

These refusals...

I think prospective applicants need to have a better understanding of how CSV works. There's always a fine print.

However if you think your case is strong, there's room to appeal.
It the new guy is just unnecesarrialy been tough on Nigerians, but when those going to SA with CASH applies they approve. Those applying with prerequisite papers apply there should know that there going there to do legitimate jobs.

Yes. You would also attach a Waec scratch card to your waec results, that they would use to check the authenticity of your olevel results.

For your undergraduate and postgraduate studies please attach the transcript of all of them. In order not to be rejected.

Thank you
