Hello all,

So I went for a wheel alignment and balancing, this is my second time in 3 weeks because the first person didn't do a good job, so I sought for another location.

However this second person still did not fix the issue. I already had the legs checked and changed the linkages and tie rod in the Feb. So it's too early again for it to be the legs.

Meanwhile something strange happened, the guy doing the alignment, removed the horn cover on my steering and then tightened the centre nut that connects the steering in the middle

Now my steering feels a bit hard and I am concerned about this, is this a normal part of alignment process

Their money market rate is within the average industry rate. of 15-17%

As investing 50M with only Mutual funds will only give interest of between 625k and 750k per month using 15% and 18%. This is possible only if the interest rate doesn't go below 15% as inflation is currently easing down.

Invest in the mutual funds that balances 50% in money market instruments such as treasury bills, commercial papers and the other 50% in stocks.

If you track the historical performance for the fund managers like FBN quest, you would see in the last 3 years they have done like 30% annually

30% of 50m will give you 1m-1.2m monthly

Yes they do keep wealth in these places but it doesn't consistutes majority of their wealth. Bulk of their wealth lies in equity.

It's their middle class who has bulk of their total assets consisting of land and properties.

Selling a house to invest in any mutual fund or any other asset is a big mistake, properties are the real investments, no matter how low the rentage might be at the moment.. that's why it is called REAL-ESTATE, the only real asset you can control..

Every other asset like bonds, stocks, treasury bills or mutual funds are all in electronic format, meaning anything could happen or go wrong anytime and everything would be wiped out within minutes.. Like wars, professional hackers or bad goverment policies. Unlike properties where you can dictate what and what happens to your assets, no matter what happens.

Most wealthy people have huge portion of their wealth in properties, even if they aren't earning much from these properties, because properties are the only asset they can control themselves, other assets or investments are mainly influenced by goverments or global politics.

I agree with everything you have said except the last point. Most wealthy people have most of their wealth tied up in equity and not properties.

While money market rates are high now, next year and the other years to come, it may be lower than what it is now. Also for the real estate, dont see the rent as the only thing you are benefiting from it.

The rent is just like the interest, but the house as an assets appreciates daily. Yes the rent may be low but the house is appreciating yearly possibly even at the same rate as MMF. I am sure you will be selling it for far more what you bought it having enjoyed rent as an extra cash flow over the time period.

This is because dollar has dropped significantly to under 1500 from what it was two months ago, anybody with naira savings will be worth more in $$$ THAN THEY WERE 3 MONTHS AGO

My car AC is not very effective when the weather is hot. Even when I increase it to level 4.
I drive an accord 2015.
In the morning or late in the evening it's chills. That I can even run on level 1

I hear a click sound coming from the compressor, it comes on and goes off like every 20-30 seconds interval

I am unsure if this is coz the weather is just hot or the AC system is weak

If there is a recommended AC specialist please direct me to them

if you are selling cheap, make sure you inform the innocent buyer what is about to inherit, doing so will help him understand reasons for your selling price.

I am not the regular car user, i am quick to change any faulty parts or give the car premium attention. I use the recommended Oil and the coolant

so on a large note, i can see i spend a lot on the car maintenance than the regular joe. meanwhile the car is back ontrack now, apparently all the spark plugs were changed and car is back to normal

You should even have your own scanner and not depend on your mechanic. if you had a scanner, you would have seen the codes and that will even give you an idea of whatever is going on before a mechanic touches your car.
scan the car and post codes.

An accord 2015 owner here. Car is plagued with many issues since I got it, but after spending so much since Nov 2024 till now, I felt the month of march was relatively stable until the car broke down at 11pm from a night of flenjo.

After series of trying to start it, it suddenly picked up 10mins later and luckily I was near home and r fuse to drive anywhere afterwards

Called a nearby mechanic to come check and first he said nothing is wrong with car that it is my fuel and I should used a fuel injector cleaner.

Got home and it broke down again the next day, luckily again I was close to my house when it happened.so this time the mechanic checked the pressure of the fuel pump, spark plugs and certified it good, serviced the fuel injector system. Now he says one of the cylinder is misfiring and they are suspecting it's a brainbox problem.

Rewire is suggesting testing another brainbox on the car, and if that fails they would have to check the engine if maybe gasket is bad but it has been established that one of the cylinders is the issue

I m wondering why they aren't seeing the exact cause since they use a car scanner abi thier own na for sakamanje or could this be a mechanical issue

I am already tired coz this is now day 4 at the mechanic workshop.
Who has experienced this before with an accord 2015

Forgot to add, the car starts and after 10 seconds it goes off except I keep on reving it like a danfo drive otherwise it will go off
Its like I need to keep reving it for it to stay alive

Car is just 6 months old in my hands and now at verge of selling it at a discounted price.

Am using N0 3 ( third) account officer this year because of issues like this. Change the account officer or go to another bank
