In the month of February, a Nigerian soldier who was an Air Force personal, Muhammed Ahmad was killed by bandits 3 weeks to his wedding in Kaduna, Newspremises reports.


The Nigerian Soldier had earlier released his pre-wedding photos before he met his untimely death that brought sorrow and sadness to her family and the entire Air Force.


Newspremises gathered that he was among the six personnel that were killed by bandits in an ambush attack along Kaduna-Bien in Gwari Road.


In a recent development, the bride he was supposed to get married to has tied the knot with his older brother.


LindaIkeji reported on their verified Instagram page and even shared photos, stating that the young bride who was left heartbroken after the demise of his fiance has married the older brother of the late Soldier who died fighting for his country.


The soldier had earlier posted on Facebook, celebrating his yet-to-come wedding which was scheduled to hold in the month of March, but due to his demise, it was his older brother that married her instead.


Recall that Muhammed Ahmad was buried the following day in accordance to Muslim tradition and his legacy as a gallant soldier will live on.


Nigerians have reacted to the marriage of the bride to the deceased older brother, as majority said it was just too sudden, due to the fact that it is barely a month his brother died. Some said the man would have waited for the lady's heart to receive healing before getting married to her.
