RomanceRe: Are U Really Keen On Marrying A Virgin by chychy(f): 1:39pm On Oct 31, 2007
There's more to marriage than virginity. Guys out there - how many girls have u slept with? How many girls have you deflowered? Why didn't u marry them?

i believe in staying away from sex before marriage but then who is the judge of that? Will marrying a virgin make you a happier husband or will it make her a better wife? Or do you think it make her less promiscuous? whether u marry a virgin or not, what you should be looking at is companionship cos after sex what next?

Please let's check our priorities. After all, a guy goes around sleeping with different girls every night and then when he wants to settle down, looks for a "V". Whether u marry a virgin or not, karma will always find its way to u.

PRIDE GOETH B4 A FALL

she could have stepped down without all the drama

but we all know the saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely"

it's d price we have to pay as nigerians, we leave qualified people and pick people without experience to lead us.

A country where some people can hardly afford a decent balanced meal, yet we have people spending six hundred n something million naira on just friggin renovation.

RomanceRe: What Kind Of Lover Are You? by chychy(op): 3:40pm On Oct 30, 2007
i'd say i'm impulsive, romantic and just live for the moment and of course very creative wink

i'm the type that will kiss a guy cos i just feel like regardless of where i am, not cos i wanna show off but because kissing him just appealed to me at that moment.

I'm the type that will hold hands, kiss him while he sleeps, give him a massge, listen to him and the works but i'm very independent and not needy.
TV/MoviesRe: Who's Your Favorite Desperate House Wife? by chychy(f): 3:31pm On Oct 30, 2007
Gaby is a lil too vain and self-centred for my tastes
Bree is difficult but innocent in her own way. she's too prim and proper and her face looks like she's had surgery.
Edie is pathetic, i feel empathy for her
Lynette loves her husband but she's too domineering
Susan Myers is very clumsy but she's my favourite cos she's so nice - she actually reminds me of myself (her nice part) grin

but u know wat? Each character is a reflection of all of us in one way or another. That i am nice doesn't mean i can't be malicious or self-centred. Which is probabably why i'm in love with the programme. I always learn something new about human sin general.

I love mike delfino.

RomanceRe: Why Do Good Girls Like Bad Guys? by chychy(f): 1:30pm On Oct 30, 2007
Why do girls always prefer guys that are strict and very harsh on them to those who treat them with so much tenderness?? is it their nature or are they always so blind to see it.

Girls and guys were never made to think and act alike. Tenderness is a girly quality, no girl wants to date a guy that will remind her of herself. Women are right brained and guys are left brained. Gilrs want their men to be in control, not domineering or forceful.

We want a guy who knows how to be a guy but is also sensitive at the same time.
we want a guy who knows and loves God but is not too churchy.
Girls want a romantic not a sex maniac
I could go on and on and never finish but the truth is the strict guy will not start crying in public or start any form of dramatic display (that is our turf and we don't like to share it with guys), someone has to take the lead.
RomanceRe: Should I Get Pregnant For Him? by chychy(f): 1:08pm On Oct 30, 2007
He hasn't even told you when and if he wants to get married. His sisters might be his mouth piece but they are not him, it could backfire.
What if he doesn't want to commit? And then you trap him with pregnancy,(that is if he decides to still marry you) sooner or later he'll react negatively and it will affect you too.
RomanceRe: Should I Get Pregnant For Him? by chychy(f): 1:04pm On Oct 30, 2007
It is not fair for any guy to use pregnancy as bait or a condition for settling down. Have you considered that you might get pregnant and he'll still reject you?
Marriage in the first place is not based on having kids. It is first and foremost made for companionship that is found with love, kids have to be a decision both of you will agree to. My dear, please seek professional counseling from your pastor/imam or a marriage counselor. He should accept you for who and what you are not because he sees you as a child rearing machine?

If God forbid, that while pregnant you lose the child to a miscarriage, what happens? He is placing a price on you for his own selfish reasons and because you are dying to settle down, you cannot seem to think straight. My dear, while some people will say 29 is old and that you should be settled by now, i still don't think that marriage should be done just because "i'm running out of time" or "my biological clock is ticking away".

Be very careful and please talk to God about it.
RomanceRe: Love Triangle by chychy(f): 12:46pm On Oct 30, 2007
Matters of the heart are so delicate yet complicated.
I want to believe for your sake that he's being truthful and while no licenses are issued at traditional weddings, marriage is still marriage.
It's easy for me to tell you to follow your heart but my dear, you have to use your head. Do you think he is worth all the drama? While it is not a crime for him and his "so called ex" to be on good terms because of the kid, how do we know there isn't more to it than meets the eye?
Snoop around, ask questions, conduct research, find out as much as you can about him and the "ex". And please can someone answer why a guy would marry for the sole purpose of child rearing?

All i can say is that you should tread carefully. I admire the fact that he told you some part of the truth though.

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers - a story of unconditional love

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks -

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Oceanic's Way Of Calling by chychy(f): 10:58am On Oct 30, 2007
While i understand that good things do not come easy, there's no harm in planning adequately. Organising a test that has people injured and then not all the invited candidates write? That is ridiculous but then again God is on our side so no one should ever lose hope cos hope for something better is what keeps us going during our trying periods.
