As the news of Remarriage of one of Nigeria's great men of God, Prophet Joshua Iginla spreads on internet, let us look back at what led to the breakup of his marriage to his estranged wife, Pastor Yemisi. Prophet Iginla and Yemisi supposedly have three children together before their marriage crashed in 2019.

Pastor Iginla took a bold step in March 2019 to confess before shocked members of his church that he was annulling his marriage with Yemisi due to infidelity.

According to a report by Tosin Osho, a freelance investigative journalist who investigated the shady relationship between the pastor and his now former wife hit the rock, Yemisi's infidelity was allegedly exposed by DNA test results.

In the report which was published on Nairaland Forum and major online media in March 2019, Tosin Osho said she decided to unravel the truth after five years of painstaking understudy of the whole drama as an insider.

She revealed that the beginning of the breakup had been when Prophet Joshua Iginla stumbled on pictures and some erotic messages between his beloved wife with some guests pastors on her phone while she was having her bath.The sordid details revealed that Pastor Yemisi had been unfaithful to her husband.

The phone leakage made the man of God to open investigations into his wife's escapades.

The investigation led to DNA tests on the three children they have. When the results came out, they were devastating! The DNA results revealed that Prophet Iginla was not the father of some of the three kids they have. But the revered man of God did not want to let the cat out of the bag or reveal the identity of the children involved because of the impact it will have the children. The report revealed that all hell was let loosed when Yemisi was confronted with the facts.

The discovery led to the opening of the unhealing wound that was inflicted on the marriage from the beginning.

It was learned that before marriage, Prophet Iginla had informed his would-be wife that his genotype was AS and she said that hers was AA.

Based on trust, they did not go for confirmation before they went ahead with the relationship which ended up in marriage.

However, the shocker came when their first child was born and they discovered she was SS. It then done on Yemisi and she opened up and confessed that out of fear she had to lie about her genotype. The matter was settled amicably and life goes on. But it didn't end there.

Recall that some years back, Prophet Iginla testified during his birthday celebration of how God saved him from dying from poison. It later discovered that the pastor's estranged wife, Yemisi was allegedly the brain behind it. It was revealed that it was one the reasons the Prophet had to send her to the United States of America.

At this point, family members of both couples were invited and the truth about her alleged unfaithfulness was revealed to them. Prophet Iginla then pointed out that he could not continue to trust her again. He promised not to divorce her if she would consent to him having his own kids who will be his flesh and blood with another woman and she agreed.

Osho revealed that that was why she kept mum when prophetess Stella from South Africa was pregnant for Prophet Iginla four years ago.

People throw birthday parties on days that are not actually their birthday, people set aside a day to honor human beings who are deemed to have contributed to the society or a nation, celebrating Jesus’ birthday on a particular day can’t be wrong if you believe He was actually born.

What of places like chicken republic, dominos and other fats foods that have kids as their major customers? They play all kinds of immoral songs while kids are glaring at them. The saddest is chicken republic where I tried to get them to change the tv station from trace to some other station like sports, because there were kids there but the manager didn’t hide his hostility while insisting it is company policy and as such cannot change it.
In dominos they reserve on tv to advertise how they want to invest in kids but devote 3 other tv stations to showing. Naira Marley and Cardi b. No one is calling these people out except me I guess.
So like someone said, raising kids in Nigeria is getting as tough as social media becomes prevalent.
