if your home was up to Standard then show us the test cube results from lab analysis and not the house covered in a beautiful paint. they both are not really accurate in outputs results, You have to master manual analysis and know the results to expect or those softwares will get you behind schedule. Preferably you write your own program which is always recommended because you can always tweak it and manipulate your analysis according to site conditions.

construction costs will depend on so many factors one being the state of the soil and type of reparation it needs. For a soil that is very poor in bearing or has a bad soil then the soil has to be excavated and taken out which will take weeks. You think Benz consume fuel then don't try those bulldozers. Calculate their rental costs, cost of a certified operator, rental is per hour not day so night hours count. Before you blink 50m Is already gone. Buying binder materials eg cotar is equally rising in cost like her sister cement. You have to carry out tests, it's not like building construction that you don't get necessary approvals and that costs alot that you may start wondering why is government not happy you are building a road that they couldn't. As you are working you are doing tests and getting approvals.

bro are we talking about a standard highway here or just some cul de sec or estate street because the loading and traffic the pavement will encounter is taken into design, then if it requires a bridge that will drive the cost further so yes 700m or even more than that. Whenever you drive pass the badagry express way and wonder what the Engineers are doing that long and haven't completed construction, road construction looks easy on th eye but the cut and fill involve alone , let's not talk about survey recognaissance and test. standard price of 1km is 1m dollars, convert it to naira and add 20% inflation overhead. That's your budget range.
