PoliticsRe: Sheakau Speaks English, Give Reasons For Fighting Western Education (video) by cjrane: 3:49am On Sep 05, 2014
Wetin concern me if Shekau does not want western education in the north?
He should go ahead and implement Islamic madrassas all over the north.I'm sure some terror kingpins as Kwankwaso posing as governors in the north will even prefer madrassas to modern schools. Afterall it is freedom of speech and education that we practice.

PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by cjrane:
Ubomeze: 'World class infrastructure' with a run down and derelict Hotel Presidential.
While I have and shall continue to urge the Enugu state govt. to completely sell it's stake in Hotel Presidential Enugu in order to allow those with what it takes to come in and revive the place. I have also urged the completion of the International conference center along with the 5 star hotel proposed to be sited behind the edifice in order to help to boost tourism into Enugu as a choice destination for holiday.

Having said that, Chime stands tall in Nigeria when you compare his sterling infrastructural achievements with just N94 billion naira budget! Many states including mine with N451 billion naira budget have not achieved a fraction of Chime's transformational governance.

Sullivan Chime is completely in a class of his own when one compares his resources to his solid achievements. Needless to mention that most state governments with 5 times bigger resources than Chime's, don't even have a 2 star hotel to their name talk-less of a 4 star hotel. Chime has two 4-5 star hotels to manage.
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by cjrane:
spyder880: But we have an active government that responds to the needs of the people. Watch the works by the drainage at the right of the picture.
Chai, If I were a woman, i would have married Sullivan Chime for free!

The man has solid vision of taking Enugu to the next level as a first class city in Africa with world class infrastructure, especially roads.
While his peers compete amongst themselves on who will build the crappiest, most inferior roads and projects, Sullivan takes special care to ensure that none of his projects are shoddy. He takes pride in providing well marked smooth roads with world-class street lights, working traffic lights, well laid drainage gutters on every road, well mapped out & designed residential estates and even an industrial free trade zone being developed.
With the completion of the cargo building at the airport, Enugu is definitely poised to take the future by storm.

NB: We need to start using the proper tools for road marking. This saves time and does the job professionally using the proper spray tools. Than the Nigerian way of manually painting the line on the road through a carved cardboard sheet. That is too labor intensive and takes a very long time to mark a very short distance.

PoliticsRe: What Has Nigeria Done To USA ? by cjrane: 3:29pm On Sep 04, 2014
[size=15pt]First, Nigeria is rich enough and has enough qualified virologists to develop her own vaccine, but will use tribalism and nepotism to chase away her own qualified scientists, only to turn around and beg Blame other countries for the product of their labor not being shared with Nigeria, because a typical Nigerian believes he has "rights" to everyone's property and labor. USA is right to refuse the attempt to simply "blame" them into releasing their hard earned product to Nigeria.

What has Nigeria done to USA?
ANSWER: Nigeria allowed her Boko Haram suicide bomber Abdul Farouk Mutallab to try and bomb an American Jetliner over a US major city!

You can be assured many True Nigerian do not share your "hate " of USA. Nigerians hate everyone including themselves anyway, and love to blame others for their own failure to use God's generous blessings bestowed on Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: How Can Boko Haram Reveal Their Sponsor To A Negotiator, Any Sense In That? by cjrane: 11:41am On Sep 04, 2014

Because they want to create a distraction. As if we are all eediots like them.

Gayigaskia: You are a slowpoke; what about the ibos and yorubas who belong to the group?
grin grin grin
Keep deluding yourself. "Nigeria" is the last group Igbos will belong together with a Fulani man. I'm very sure Yoruba will not tolerate the Fulani outside the zoo called Nigeria.

I will rather belong to sinn fenn, volunteer for Adolf Hitler's army or even live with pigs in a poultry house than belong to Boko Haram with fulani . When you see any Igbo standing close to Boko Fulani with a gun, we have finally decided to fight you lazy bas..terds and let Nigeria dissolve as it should
PoliticsRe: Who Are Boko Haram By "Fulan Nasrullah" by cjrane: 9:32pm On Sep 03, 2014
Boko Haram are our northern Nigeria fulani murderers with a few of their cousins from Chad, Niger and Sudan.

Their ideology is simply to continue killing Nigerians until a time they have terrorized us enough to hand over the ruler ship of the country to them. But why aren't they interested in democratic means of getting into power?

spyder880: Entering Enugu from Ugwuaji, PH express road
Thank you Sypder for the great pictures!
One hopes that the median being beautified isn't invaded with sign boards advertising one product or another.

I wish the Enugu state government will begin not just removing illegally placed sign boards which de-face the city. But will make such companies or even churches that advertise to pay a token charged for the removal of the illegally placed sign boards

Meanwhile God bless Governor Chime for doing world-class roads in Enugu.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Sponsorship: We’ve Been Vindicated – APC by cjrane: 11:32am On Sep 03, 2014
[size=17pt]This Jan-ja-weed Boko Haram APC and their murderous clown Shekau must think we are all cows like them.
So Boko Haram will simply call a journalist and reveal their true sponsors eh? So that the sponsors will be put in jail and Boko Haram will starve from lack of funds?

What is amazing about APC is that they imagine they can simply ask Shekau to stop killing people if they grab power and he will just comply and stop.
That is why supporters of APC don't get it. Even a cow like Shekau and his murderous boys know these northern politicians have chicken brain they way they reason. Let us watch and see where all this killings will lead APC

PoliticsRe: Breaking: Military Begins Massive Air - Strike In Bama by cjrane: 10:30pm On Sep 02, 2014
Those officers calling for withdrawal of troops under the pretext of a massive air assault should be investigated in complicity of assisting BH. Many brilliant officers sometimes give dumb orders when BH is the enemy. We have to question their selective low tactical intelligence when dealing with BH.
Whatever happened to close air support.

PoliticsRe: ABIA Stinks Says Billionaire Arthur Eze by cjrane: 7:45pm On Sep 01, 2014
Marotzke: I am not and can never be TA Orji's Otimkpu. I am only placing Eze n'Ukpo's comments on a different perspective. You should know that in spite of any supposed misunderstanding between Orji kalu's wife and mother, Kalu have always shown maximum respect to his in laws and Anambra business people in general.

I don't know how old you were in 1989 , but i was there In Kalu's wedding, I remember Joe best Okoye was his best man. it was just like any Anambra’s big boys wedding. IKB, John Udeagbala, Mike Umeh (Mikky jagger), Tony Ubajiaka (Tony Montana) them were all there. All the people's club elder s were there. The Menakayas, Ezes, Nwankwu, everybody. Arthur 1000 then, now Eze n' Ukpo was there.

Fast forward now to 2014, most of the elders have passed on, Arthur is in charge of the conclave now. Ifeanyi Ubah, Andy Uba, Peter Obi (ministerial matter) have realized that and adjusted. if you expect the Godfather to side with anyone outside the family, then you don't know how Anambra affairs and to a major extension Igbo affairs are governed.

it is a call for TA to wise up or be consigned to oblivion. It has nothing to do with concerns for the poor or social development. Now if a member of this Mafia begins to show one or two progressive tendencies, the better.
[size=14pt]C'mon shataP !
You are not Igbo. If you were you will know Arthur Eze isn't speaking for Anambra or whatever! He is speaking as a concerned Igboman that has seen our key industrial city Aba go to the dogs under this Governor Orji.

Your anambra connotation to water down the truth in Eze's comment does not fly here.

valicious1: The 3rd APC progressive governance series is being held in owerri right now and aired on channels tv.
The national chairman apc chief john oyegun made a statement that I think he should be made to explain to the SSS and police and I quote

" We would make sure Nigeria doesn't survive another four years should pdp/jonathan win next year "

He should be made to explain to Nigerians and indeed security agencies what he means by this treasonable statement.
Lemme ask, if Naigeria does not survive, which Naigeria will APC rule?
One day after May, 2019, GEJ will not be president, just like Obasanjo,IBB etc. If Olu Falae or Ekwueme had destroyed Nigeria becos of OBJ misrule, which Naigeria will be there today?

Yeye people! They should bomb naigeria more!

spyder880: Supported 100%
I will support any Anambra, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi and Anioma threads with good pictures, just alert me on the new thread and I will be there.
Oga m Spyder!!!
As usual I thank you very much for this kind gesture. You are one of the few in NL with the experience and sagacity to help such threads succeed!

Thank you Sir for volunteering to help.

More volunteers who already have great pictures of these states should go ahead and initiate these great threads. Spyder has volunteered to fully support the threads with fresh pictures as he tours the east.

Oga Chino, you seem to have a lot of current pictures of Awka, Osumughu, GRA Onitsha etc, so you can start the Anambra thread with a great caption.

Umu Anioma, Biko lets start something about our area of Delta. I have a few pics of Asaba Intl. airport from Uduaghan's Facebook page, but we need to start with our own exclusive pictures not yet anywhere on the Internet.
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by cjrane:
IGBOSON1: I once suggested that we have a dedicated thread for Anambra, and even did my bit to keep the one Spyder created alive......but Anambrans on here were not interested in it for some reason and continued to create single threads for different Anambra based topics.

Someone should create a dedicated Anambra thread, or ask Spyder to do it again since the old one may have been lost with the recent data loss Nairaland experienced. It would be easier to monitor developments in Anambra this way.
You are completely right!
We need an Anambra thread. Appropriately captioned 'Anambra, land of legends' or heroes as Sypder called the first thread. May be the caption will encourage our brothers Chino, Nnewi1st son and Odenigboaroli to resist the temptation of engaging in E-war with oily people who will definitely come there to torpedo the thread as usual.

Abagworo has managed to keep the IMO thread alive in spite of berem and other misguided folks that tried to torpedo the thread.

Just as we desperately need an Abia thread appropriately captioned based on the critical importance of that state to the Igbo nation. "Abia the backbone of Igbo Nation".
Infact, Ojukwu himself severally called Aba the most important city in Igboland and perhaps the only city that can guarantee Igbo advancement into our glorious future. That is why the rot brought to Aba by the Orji brothers must be if immense concern to everyone concerned with the development if the Igbo nation.

Achi and co should help us keep the Ebonyi thread alive with the progress being made in Abakaliki and Afikpo.

By the way, I need help with creating an Anioma thread. Volunteers on the ground with pictures are wanted! I am very passionate about an Anioma thread. I need help here to set this up! Biko nu!

For once, I agree with Asari.

[size=14pt]The fulanis have acted exactly like a colonial power.
They will rule you by force, steal your resources by force to develop their land while at the same time giving some crazy reasons how their presence have been beneficial to you.

It is amazing how a backward African tribe can perfect the art of colonialism, hitherto thought to be a sole preserve of Europeans.
