Truth be said,

Isn't Nigeria a zoo?

A place where a certain group will go to your land, rape your wife, stab the husband for daring to protest, then their Police will arrest 20 members from the town and parade them in Abuja as criminals for daring to fight for the safety of their people.

Meanwhile the real rapists and killers that stabbed people are left to go Scot free. There is even talk in the senate to use our commonwealth annexed by the Federal government to compensate them!

Politics › Re: How The North Is Underdeveloping Nigeria by Cjrane2: 8:58pm On Mar 25, 2017
Kathmandu:
Population Population can be blessing to the Chinese but it has been the reverse to the North today. Thomas Malthus gave a doomsday prediction about Britain then on their rising population but invariably he was talking to Northern Nigeria whose population is on a geometrical rise while basic amenities and infrastructure are growing arithmetically.

The Northern population if not checked will continue to place a burden on the scarce resources of the South. The problem is that the northern population has a 80% illiterate and dependency population which is mostly unskilled.

There should be birth control in the North and also the government and wealthy individuals should invest massively in education to nip the population catastrophe that's on the horizon

Population of the north is only "rising" on paper.

A true census is impossible in Nigeria since the sharing of Niger Delta oil resources is based on purported population size. Therefore, the north dominating the civil service etc, will ALWAYS cite huge bogus population figures to get a lion share of other peoples' resources.

If you've gone round Nigeria you should have known that Owerri has the most greenery amongst all cities. The old Owerri is where serious works on road expansion is ongoing but is likely not going to be green because of the dense population. You can literally play football match on grasses adoring many roads in Owerri. No be joke.
Dude, unlike you, i have lived in Owerri. Many Nigerian cities don't take planting flowers and trees seriously. But, Owerri in particular doesn't need to emulate the wrong examples. Owerri should emulate Abuja at the barest minimum.

None of the roads in Owerri have trees in the median. From Douglas, Orlu, Weatheral, Sam Mbakwe, Egbu roads etc NONE.

Cities as Enugu Uyo, Calabar are trying in this regard. But, they need not be copied by Owerr because they are nowhere near what is acceptable and Imo can do much better. No reason why Owerri cannot surpass these places in serenity and conducive environment with tree lined roads as Owerri aspires to become the holidays destination of West Africa.

Owerri should closely copy how cities like Kigali used flowers on all their major roads and roundabouts to transform their environment.

Landscaping of this university will go a long way to making it a conducive learning environment.

A good environment isn't just about buildings. It is also about how beautifully serene the trees and flowers blend with the buildings. It's even more important for universities.

Landscaping of Owerri roads with palm trees and other trees is urgently needed.

Imo should do the needful in the coming rainy season and massively plant trees along major roads and government buildings.

Not only government house deserves landscaping.

The deadline is today.

Has the Police arrested the Fulanis that started the crisis by molesting a married woman and stabbing her husband in Ile Ife?
Politics › Re: Ile-Ife Clash: Arrest Hausa Suspects In 48 Hours - OPC by Cjrane2: 12:59pm On Mar 24, 2017
In Nigeria, Hausa/Fulani man will just pull out a knife and stab somebody to death or burn their properties, and nothing will be said of it. The minute you stab the assilant back, Fulani police will arrest you and charge you to court.

Then use the government's money to pay compensation to their Hausa people. As if other Nigerians don't secerve compensation for their livelihood destroyed by Fulanis.

Buhari is filled with hatred for a certain group of Nigerians.

Buhari is not going to release Nnamdi Kanu even if the courts order it. I am happy he has continued to hold Kanu because it has truly exposed the true nature of Buhari to everyone.

Buhari will not stop until he kills everyone from a certain 5% ethnic group or he will completely ruin Nigeria by his misplaced hatred.

I am 100% sure most states will build roads, bridges, critical infrastructure, hospitals, agricultural intervention etc with the money

The biggest chunk of the money is silently with the Federal Government!

What will the FG do with it's own humongous Paris club refund?

How Much Did FG get?

See for yourself...

The irony of massively patronizing Dangote and other Fulas who do not hide their disdain for the region or investing in the SE cannot be lost on us.

I always wonder if Fulani would massively patronize an Igbo company the way our people have swallowed his product hook line and sinker.

For long, obama almost made America a sanctuary for middle east people that hate america intensely.

Trump is only saying, lets tell ourselves the truth, you guys will hurt us if you get the chance. ...and i am not going to continue giving you that chance.

I was one of those that derided the thought of Biafra as irresponsible.

Today, i am one of its stauchest supporters.

The change of mind happen when you realize your people are actually not wanted in Nigeria. But they want you to stay within Nigeria, so that they have mineral rights to extract and exploit your resources. I have told people that although Germany lost the second world war, it taught Europe not to impose heavy taxes on a generation that didn't fight the first world war. In other words, it taught Europe the lesson of fairness. Igbos must not be afraid of fighting for her freedom. The world is a more different place today than in 1960s. Besides, the whole world is now aware of the repression of Igbo segment of Nigeria. If those who oppress them find it is more costly to own slaves than treat every man fairly, they will understand the value of liberty and peaceful co-existence too.

The way Buhari is carrying on with these Fulani herdsman terrorism and pretending they are faceless, USA will definitely soon add Nigeria.

They want to be sure the murderous herdsmen don't make it to their country and start killing American farmers they way they are doing now and nobody dares to stop them.

DONSMITH123:
Ade Adesomoju, Abuja

The Supreme Court on Friday struck out a suit filed by the Federal Government seeking an order wresting the control and management of its land in Lagos State from the state government.

A five-man panel of the Supreme Court led by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, unanimously struck out the Federal Government’s suit after upholding the preliminary objection filed by the Lagos Government to challenge the competence of the suit.

Justice Dattijo Muhammad, who read the apex court’s lead ruling, agreed with the Lagos State Government that the court lacked the power to exercise its “original jurisdiction” in the suit because the Federal Government had “transferred its title in the land to others”.’

The dispute between the federal and Lagos State governments was about “general control and management of federal land within Lagos State particularly the re-issuance of certificates of occupancy, granting consent or exercising rights of ownership.”

Another bad news for those seeking to islamize and dominate the entire country using the so called federal lands as back door in the south for the grazing fields.

The judiciary is perhaps the only thing keeping Nigerians from going on rampage and taking out Buhari's intransigence on the murderous herdsmen.
