Politics › Re: Revealed: The Real Reason Why Buhari Is Desperate To See Yahya Jammeh Out. by Cjrane2: 12:04am On Jan 20, 2017
iamhorny:
The Nigerian constitution specifically states that the president has no powers to send members of the armed forces on a limited operation abroad without approval from the national assembly EXCEPT if national security is under IMMINENT threat. Even then, the president will still get parliamentary approval within 7 days.

But Buhari has deployed Nigerian armed forces to force out Yahya Jammeh and bring in Adama Barrow. And he did this without approval from NASS.

Why??

Because the president elect, Adama Barrow is a Fula (Gambian for Fulani) while Jammeh is Julia.

So if you are wondering Nigerian interest in Gambia, stop wondering. Adama Barrow is fulani, just like Buhari. And as you all should have known by now, in Nigeria, fulani interest equals national interest.

Yes. They should invade and see the outcome.

Buhari wants to destroy another african country for exactly what he us guilty of. Who has bombed Daura since 2001 that Buhari serially refused to accept unfavorable election results?
Politics › Re: Foreigners Mock Nigeria Over Accidental Bombing Incident by Cjrane2: 3:11pm On Jan 18, 2017

Politics › Re: Crude Proceeds Rose By N22.84bn In Nov by Cjrane2: 5:29am On Jan 18, 2017
BUHARI should pay the money to avengers and Niger Deltans because the pause in bombing enabled oil production to resume.

But those that specialize in stealing the resources of others and call them 5% will scream; NO!
So that they can continue to fraudulently live like kings from other people's oil resources, while the owners of the oil live in abject poverty.

So, i expect us to return to status quo sooner than later.

Men, some people are truly pained by seeing a mall in Asaba.

Same people that rejoiced for a mall in Ibadan, now cry because there is a mall in Asaba?
If there is a mall in Ibadan with all the poverty there, then 10 malls are justified in Asaba.
Politics › Re: Secession From Nigeria: An Invitation To Retrogression by Cjrane2: 2:03am On Jan 18, 2017
It is untrue that any tribe would be worse off outside Nigeria than within it.

Nigeria is a corruption ridden hellhole that nothing works. Hell actually works better than Nigeria in many instances. At least, there will be constant fuel and light there.

Chia.... This is totally a planned attack.
Our leaders are very wicked.

Why not any other place? why IDP camp?

This is actually the first successful airforce attack and it was on the innocent.
Infact, if you send our air force to bomb boko haram, they will drop their bombs inside lake chad and come back to base to claiming they bombed shekau.

But if it is innocent people without guns, our air forcevwill take their time to bomb them well.

A case of pot calling kettle black.

Well good luck with the consequences if you attack Gambia.

Apart from Osun, i wonder which other state is doing worse than Abia.

Very sad development if you consider that Aba in particular was the flag ship of development in souther Nigeria after Lagos and Port Harcourt. Just wonder how it all went so wrong for Abia state.
Politics › Re: 9 Biafra War Machine Dat Mak Is Hard For Nigeria To Defeat Dem During Civil War by Cjrane2: 2:17am On Jan 17, 2017
God forbid a war in Nigeria. But if it happens, the weapons will be much more advanced and lethal than in those pictures at the war museum. If you consider that those weapons were made when less than 20 Biafrans had PhD in physics and other related sciences and most Biafrans were largely illiterate, poor and holed up in their villages.

Today, the number of PhDs alone may be un-quantifiable, most are literate, dispersed and reasonably ok. We must not pray for a war in Nigeria even with Buhari carrying on as if he is assured Fulani can win a major sustained war without western help.

But if a war happen in Nigeria, its outcome and ferocity will be different from the last one. Not to talk about the fact that not ONLY "BBC" will be reporting war footage. Like Syria, footage will appear almost live on the internet, so it will be hard to hide the truth and deceive the world as in the past.
Politics › Re: Anambra 2017:apc Plots Willie Obiano's Ouster by Cjrane2: 6:58pm On Jan 16, 2017
The only hope for APC is to use soldiers to change results at collation centers.

Anambra people should learn from how Wike resisted Abuja tyranny and insisted on being present at the tallying of the votes.

Democracy is about allowing people to choose their leaders and not the President in Aso Rock abusing his powers by using Police and army to shoot the people so that he could rig the polls for his friends.
Politics › Who Is Receiving The N5,000 Monthly Stipend??? by Cjrane2(op): 10:05pm On Jan 15, 2017
A lot of people have aired their views that the purported N5,000 naira montly stipend for unemployed Nigerians was a fluke used as an excuse to stuff the pockets of party thugs in preparation for elections.

Calls for the FG to publish the names of recipients have fallen on deaf ears.

I find it hard to believe that President Buhari will simply authorize the release of huge sums of money from the CBN just to stuff pockets of his party members. Apparently, as impossible as this may sound, that is precisely what is indeed happening as we speak.

Please those who have received this money should speak up and tell us how they were identified as unemployed, so that we know how our national resource is being shared.

The concern now is that a privileged few are using this excuse to enrich themselves while nobody can really point to the "unemployed" Nigerians benefiting from this.
Politics › Re: Tell Me What Makes You Support A United Nigeria..except That It The Popular Take by Cjrane2: 9:05pm On Jan 15, 2017
Fremancipation:
At this point, true federalism cannot solve anything. Here are some reasons

1) how will it stop Fulani herdsmen from killing?

2) if a reagion started to develop, especially the east, the whole almajiri in the north will flood that region and take advantage of the regions tax payers.

3) There will still be sharia law which goes against secularism and will lead to more clashes.
You do not know about True Federalism.

True federalism means the federating units which could be states or geo-political subregions will have all the rights in a truly federal state such as United States.
The federating units will control their resources and pay taxes and fund their own police and state laws. If their state law says cattle must be moved in trucks and not through farmlands, then that is the law in those states.Yes, they cannot deport other Nigerians in their state, but if they break the law, they will be tried and jailed according to state law.

If Nigeria were truly a federal republic, we would not have any of the problems we have today and only viable and productive states will exist. Which will also foster development and reduce the corruption points.

The struggle in Nigeria today is about CHEATING others.
How one region can manipulate themselves so that they can steal the oil resources from another. PERIOD.
Politics › Re: Tell Me What Makes You Support A United Nigeria..except That It The Popular Take by Cjrane2: 1:52pm On Jan 15, 2017
Most people support one Nigerea because they believe it is an opportunity for their region to rob the oil producing regions of their natural resources.

If true federalism were instituted in Nigeria, ALL the problems we face today of quota system only when the north is disadvantaged, falsification of census results, bias in distribution of federal allocations and projects to primarily favor the Fulani states, creation of multiple unviable states and LGAs in far northern desert region just to use them as extra units for cornering the federation allocation money derived from other areas etc will almost completely disappear.

Nigerea does not need to breakup to have peace. We just need to practice true fiscal federalism and all the quarrels from cheating happening now will disappear.

Buhari should draft Nigerian soldiers of Daura origin for the mission. undecided
Another funny empty threat. Apart from Ghana's army, which other west african army has good disciplined troops? Nigerian? grin grin grin grin
If you could not defeat Charles Taylor's rag-tag militia for almost 10 years, it is the Gambian army you will defeat if they choose to fight?

If France had not expelled Gbagbo, Ecowas troops will still be in Ivory Coast killing their civilians in the name of operations to remove Gbagbo.

They should beg Jammeh or they should get ready to die in Gambia while destroying that country for no good reason.

Why is Buhari suddenly desperate to revive the Niger Bridge project he abandoned and later cancelled just for some propaganda ?

Does this have anything to do with his plan to secretly try Kanu in a kangaroo court and hang him for merely expressing his opinion for self determination of Ndigbo?

What is really going on?

In any case, these pictures were taken at the level of work at the Asaba end of the bridge in April 2015 when incidentally GEJ was still funding the project.

But if an Igboman made the same comment, he would be tried in secret by a Fulani judge and their troops as Nnamdi Kanu.
