Guy, we can keep hoping for a united Nigeria for aye risking an implosion or do what is needed to earn the support of the Igboman in the one Nigeria project via an Igbo president. It's a leap of faith Nigeria needs to try, having tried various options to unite the country.

But we dally daily, and over-analysis. We easily forget that an average human is rule by sentiments, few are swayed by logic. And the popular sentiment by a huge swath of the population (especially Igbos) is that they are been shortchanged in the Nigerian project.

Now I am a very rational person. I consider myself fairly swayed by logic, and believe in merit over mediocrity and ethnicism (this very much I practice at work place). But on this matter of Igbo presidency, I will allow my sentiment to hold sway, as I believe it's the most logically thing to do. Now if I, with a fairly good education and exposure, think like this, how much more others, in their millions, who may not have such benefit of exposure.

My guy, your trouble is best imagine if this 'unfairness' continues. And it is only a matter of time before it all explode before our very eyes. I hope by then we wouldn't have crossed the rubicon.

PointB, you're too much. King of Lagos assumes that as THEY have successfully deceived the Ibos for 50 years, and reaped enormous developmental benefits, the status quo could be sustained. This is a Lagos-Yoruba owned forum, and they know what they are doing.
