tombraokoto: guy stop all those many English. The EU and the UN will do nothing. Even if a referendum will be held it will be held in the SE. Don't be deceived SS doesn't care about you. I'm a Kalabari boy. I come from the same LGA with Ateke Tom and believe me when I tell you that an average ijaw man doesn't give a damn about igbos. And u think they give a damn about u? |

tombraokoto: I'm not in anyway in support of the killing of this innocent little girl or anyone for that matter but if the truth must be said Nnamdi Kanu is to be blamed for the death of this little girl. It was his foolishness and incitement of hate speech that is gradually bearing fruits.
That fool called Kanu has the given the Nigerian army a reason to be in igboland. Nnamdi Kanu is the cause of everything currently going on in the SE. I only pity for the innocent igbos caught in between this madness. They don't need ur pity man, ur better off pitying ursef who is so afraid to stand up for what is right. |

SSpeter: A friend of mine decided to say hello and I felt perhaps this will be a good opportunity to prepare my favourite Ogbono soup. After we had lunch outside I told her I will appreciate any help towards preparing my favourite soup. She Agreed. There is a small market close by where she can easily get all the items need. I opened my wallet brought out 1k (last card) then I remembered I had 5h in the trouser I wore the previous day. Total =N1500.....I handed it over to her, she looked at me with disdain (like say I poo for body).....next statement "You are not serious"...I thought she was joking until she carried her bag and left....pls o.......N1500 no reach cook Ogbono soup?.. ...seriously I was angry not because she refused but because she was a good cook...I could have had a great supper....Nevertheless I prepared the Ogbono with that same amount....with chicken and dry fish.....Just that the soup is having a soapy taste. I don't know where soap came from and the Ogbono soup no draw......God has answered the prayers of my landlord battalions. Tomorrow they will do the needful ...but some ladies una no dey try o...how can 1500 not cook ogbono? Isn't it obvious? SOAPY TASTE? WATERY SOUP? These are what happens when you decide to manage #1500 for a pot of soup. Btw, this ur "friend", is she ur girlfrnd or just friend? Cuz she doesn't seem so "friendly" to me. |

A girl will be sincerely rejecting your advances but you won't hear. you will say she is playing hard-to-get. so when she decides to use you as atm and dump you after use, you will come and be ranting on NL Continue.... make una no geh sense U sef. There is a difference between outright rejection and playing mind games. A girl who wants to mess with ur head will not out-rightly tell u she is not interested. She will give mixed signals. That is what mind games is about. |

Oliviaarims: Inasmuch as I don't believe in unnecessary fronting and playing hard to get just for the sake of it, I must say that it's necessary to take things slowly sometimes.
It's not in all cases that women deliberately play hard to get just for the sheer fun of it.. Sometimes, they simply need time to assess their feelings and the guy with whom they are getting into a relationship with, weigh the prospects of the relationship, whether or not it's worth a try and all of that... That's right. |

Family › Re: How Do I Stop Feeling Ashamed Of My Husband by Classicman47(m): 5:05am On Jan 23, 2016 |
scaredy: I have been married for a year now to a man that is very unattractive. I married him for two reasons
1. My younger ones and friends were all married and I was desperate at 32. 2. He treats me well
He's a good husby but I sometimes get ashamed walking with him because he's very ugly. I'm a pretty girl and when we are in public he's all over me wanting people to know we are together and I see the looks they give us.
I don't mind sleeping with this man and being his wife, I just want the feeling of shame to stop.I know some men don't treat their wife well and I feel lucky mine own does that. Point of correction: At 32 you are no longer a GIRL but a WOMAN, a full grown woman. And the solution to your predicament is quite simple: get a Fez cap for him or get sunglasses for yourself when you hang out. Either way you would be less self conscious of his looks and ppl staring. |

omenka: The two look fantastic together!! Beautiful couple.
The people who tend to spread the bile we see among the two tribes are the most socially and economically depraved class. That is a fact.
Today, a team from the Nigerian Army visited the Innoson Assembly plant- no doubt they must have discussed some supply contract with the management.
Let these guys keep spreading hate and living in their self induced misery- by the time they look up, the world would have been long gone and left them behind, including those they assume they are fighting for. Leave trash for Lawma jare. As far as I am concerned there is no love lost between the Igbos and the Yorubas. And there has never been. The folks who get married know what they see in each other. Other than that, I'd say they are a disgrace to their tribe. |
